If only the walls could talk you would hear stories of how sailors came ashore, got drunk, got tattoos and wooed local girls right here in this charming courtyard. On the second floor we recently restored this apartment with modern features but all the historic details kept in place. Get ready for an exclusive and authentic experience through time.



The Space:

A TOUR OF THE PLACE



Located in the heart of historic Nyhavn at number 43, this apartment offers a bright and inviting space with thoughtful contemporary design. Upon entering, you are greeted by a spacious living room bathed in natural light from the large windows. Right next to the entrance, a small table provides a convenient spot to place keys, bags, or other little items.



The living area features a comfortable queen-sized sofa bed and a TV tucked into the corner, as well as a working desk — perfect for guests who need a quiet space to catch up on work or plan their day in the city. Alongside the living room, next to the master bedroom, there is ample clothing storage, including a closet with a washer and dryer for added convenience during longer stays.



To the right, the open kitchen and dining area unfold. The well equipped kitchen makes cooking fast and easy, while the dining table comfortably seats six for shared meals or casual gatherings.



Further along the right, you’ll find the master bedroom, featuring a king-sized bed and a serene atmosphere for restful nights. Directly opposite, two beautifully designed bathrooms in deep red tones provide elegance and functionality. A second bedroom follows with 2 single beds, hypoallergenic pillow selection and crisp hotel duvets.



The rooms are separated by blurred glass walls, which ensure privacy while allowing natural light to flow through the apartment. Delicate drawings on the glass, created by Troels Andersen Studio, add a subtle artistic touch, turning these partitions into functional pieces of contemporary art. Combined with wooden elements and warm design details, these features give the apartment a distinctive personality and a nod to modern Copenhagen style.

The Neighborhood:

Nyhavn (New Harbour) is the most famous landmark of our city. With its picturesque wooden sailing ships along the canal filled with restaurants and hangout spots this is as charming as it gets. And with the penthouse situated in a historic courtyard behind it all you still get the feeling of living like a local. The new “kissing bridge” across the main canal connects the area to Christianshavn and Christiania in a short



Getting Around:

The metro stops at Kongens Nytorv which is at the other end of Nyhavn, 5 minutes away. From there the airport is a 13 min. train ride.
