Until 2025, this extraordinary holiday home served as the home and studio of two renowned local architects. Here, thoughtful design, panoramic views of the fjord, and untamed nature come together to create an unforgettable holiday experience. The property consists of two striking buildings connected by a light-filled orangery and an elegant glass walkway, forming a unique whole.



The Fjord House sits closest to the water and offers an intimate setting, while the Studio hovers high above the landscape with spectacular views of the fjord. You can rent the Fjord House, which sleeps 6, all year round, while the Studio, which accommodates 4 guests, closes during the winter. The orangery brings the family together for bright summer evenings, and the glass-enclosed corridor's practically furnished with a table and sink—perfect for preparing the day's fresh catch. The 4,000 m² natural plot offers a fine balance between a well-maintained lawn, tall trees, and untamed nature. The terrace is surrounded by lush grapevines, which the architects have used for their own red wine production. Deer and hares are often seen in the garden or on the beach, while the area’s birds chirp in the background. The house is located in a gated community between two forests with only nine holiday homes, where unspoiled nature and a peaceful atmosphere take centre stage. We designed this place for guests who value peace and quiet as an asset and who wish to help preserve the tranquillity of the area. With the fjord as your closest neighbour, you can fish from the house’s private jetty, set out in the rowboats to catch flatfish and sea trout, and light a fire at the shelter after a day on the water. Explore the Fjord Trail on foot or by bike through Dragerup Forest to the north and Eriksholm Forest to the south. Take a kayak or canoe trip to the Munkholm ice cream stand or Holbæk Harbour. Sommerland Sjælland is also a short distance from the house.
