This was a great place! We celebrated an early Christmas with family. The host was awesome and the home and outside patio was welcoming and very comfortable.

Was able to make myself at home right away after a long drive. All rooms were clean and organized upon arrival. The pool was amazing in the summer heat!! Very easy to communicate with the host, super friendly. Great place to stay in Redding. Highly recommend!

Summer stay at the Pineapple House

We had a great time lounging by the pool enjoying the NorCal summer. Joel was always responsive providing details and info. We were sad to go wishing we booked longer. We brought a level 2 cord and charged our car while we slept. Made it so much nicer than having to find a fast charger in town.

Terrific Holiday Experience

The Pineapple House was perfect for our stay and hosting Thanksgiving dinner. The house was very clean with many amenities available just in case you forgot anything. Well equipped kitchen with great cookware and utensils. Also had some food items if you just needed a light meal, and condiments and dry goods as well. Chilled cans of pineapple in the fridge were a helpful snack for a toddler that arrived hungry. TV in every room, many streaming services, wifi and a charging station in the living room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again, perhaps in the summer to enjoy the pool and great patio. Thanks, Joel.

Perfect for our family!

This house was clean, organized, and well stocked. The additional items available in case you forget anything were well above standard. All rooms equipped with TVs and steaming devices. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The pool was the highlight of the stay for all of us. The comfortable patio furniture and misters made for relaxing pool days. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Wonderful home at a good price

The property owner obviously takes pride in offering his clients a good experience. The kitchen was well stocked with quality cookware, dishes and appliances. I liked how he provided some food in the pantry just in case we needed a quick meal. The pool was lovely and the highlight of our stay.

This house has everything you need

This House is completely adequate for anyone to stay at. It’s clean, comfortable, decorated nicely with all the cute Pineapple touches everywhere and has everything you need. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into having it well stocked with the basic stuff people use on a daily basis like coffee, spices, some dry food goods, ziplock bags for leftovers or if you come home from the Sacramento River with fish (we caught many but had to throw them native fish back) you can bag it up. Or if you make. Sandwich to bring with you. It’s nice not to have to run to the store to buy all that stuff. My daughter said she even saw spare little tooth brushes in case you forgot yours. Soap for washer and dryer which we had to use once. So just little stuff like that is a nice touch. If you forgot to pack something look in a drawer you just might find it. WiFi is easy to log into, there’s a charging station but bring your own cords, DVD player and movies and a streaming device. There are spare pillows in the closet which I found out after I texted the owner. Communication is easy through the ap and owner is quick to respond if you have any concerns or questions. Close to town and Safeway is just down the street a bit which is nice. This home has more than what you would get if you stayed at a Hotel. I highly recommend your next stay in Redding at The Pineapple House.

Great Property

The house is super well equipped and maintained, very comfortable. The pool was very much appreciated as Redding is quite warm in the summer. Lots of things to do closeby as well.

The pineapple house is awesome!

This house was great. I came here with my boyfriend for a getaway close to Shasta for my birthday weekend and Joel was awesome! We walked into not only a clean and great house.. but a nice birthday gift for me and a birthday sign! It was so sweet and the house has an awesome backyard, really makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!

Family Getaway

Was originally to attend a wedding and COVID/Governor Newsom put a halt to that! We rescheduled 3 mo out and made a family getaway out of it. The best part was this VRBO! Great area in Redding, close to the river (always nice) and very quiet neighbor hood. Joel responded ASAP when we arrived and noticed gas was empty for BBQ. Great place to stay and very clean.

Perfect place to stay

My husband and our four adult children attended a wedding in Palo Cedro and we rented the Pineapple House for a three night stay. Everything was wonderful. Everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay is there. We grilled out twice and made many meals in the kitchen. Things I had forgotten at the store were things that Joel already had provided there for us! Beds are comfy, the house is spacious. It was too cold to swim since it is late September but we loved being out by the pool and even drank our morning coffee in comfy chairs surrounding the warm fire pit. I highly recommend The Pineapple House to anyone wanting a homey stay in Redding!

I don’t have enough words to describe how perfect the Pineapple House was it is as if they sat down and made a list of every little thing that would help your stay or that you might have forgotten and puff it was there from some Tums for my heartburn to a bobby-pin for my wife’s dress it was all there perfect I was so inspired I used some of the pineapple to make Hawian Chicken

What a gem!

Had a wonderful time with all my family. This was a pretty special place, never even had to leave the house, except to shop! The pool, the clean space, well equipped kitchen, toys for the kids, and pool floats to boot. Oh yah, don't forget the misters, came in handy for the 107 degree heat. Thank you Joel.

Great place for any vacation needs in Redding!

The pineapple house was a wonderful rental for our fly fishing vacation. Plenty of room, very organized with every need taken into account and super clean. There is a k cup coffee maker, a generous offering of food supplies, high end cutlery and cookware, and toiletry items as well. The backyard and pool are very inviting and it is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to downtown markets and restaurants. I highly recommend a stay in the Pineapple house next time you travel to Redding...it will suit all your travel needs!
