Discover scenic walking trails and exciting mountain biking routes, or venture just 4 miles to the breathtaking Brecon Beacons National Park, where you can hike famous peaks and marvel at incredible starry skies. Explore the dramatic landscapes of the Black Mountains, or challenge yourselves with a climb up Pen y Fan (21 miles), the highest peak in the Brecon Beacons. For budding anglers, the nearby River Wye (2.5 miles) offers a fantastic opportunity to try your hand at fishing for barbel, trout, and salmon—just ask the property’s owner for top tips!
Inside, the cosy and welcoming lodge-style cabin offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. The open-plan living space is designed for togetherness, with a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare delicious home-cooked meals, a dining area perfect for family feasts, and a comfy lounge where you can unwind after a busy day. Snuggle up on the sofas for a movie night, share stories of the day’s adventures, or play board games together. All on one level, the cabin offers three beautifully decorated bedrooms, a twin room and two doubles, one with its own en-suite shower room. Each bedroom is designed for comfort, with soft furnishings and cosy beds ensuring everyone gets a restful night’s sleep. A stylish family shower room completes the layout. Outside, soak up the fresh country air and breathtaking views from two fantastic outdoor spaces.
Step onto the wooden balcony through the French doors and enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the stunning Wye Valley scenery. The secure, enclosed garden is a dream for families with plenty of space for children and pets to run free while the adults relax. - 3 bedrooms – 2 doubles (of which 1 is en-suite with shower) and 1 twin
- 2 bathrooms – 1 spacious shower room with WC and 1 en-suite with shower and WC
- Electric cooker and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine (found in the porch)
- Wood burner (logs included)
- Smart TV
- Super-fast Starlink wi-fi
- Enclosed garden with wooden balcony
- BBQ
- Please be aware there are sheep and owner’s dogs on site
- One of two lodges on-site (the other lodge and main farmhouse are not visible and are totally separate)
- Secure storage for bikes
- Additional fridge/freezer for fishermen in barn
- Shop 2.5 miles, pub 4 miles
- Parking available for 2 cars
- The Owner will plant a tree on their land for every visitor they have at the lodge - so far around 7,000 trees have been planted
- PLEASE NOTE - electric car charging is not available on this site. Nearest chargers are located at Oxford Road Car Park, Hay-on-Wye HR3 5EQ and Newport Street, Hay-On-Wye, Hereford, HR3 5BZ and The Boat Inn, Whitney Village Rd, Whitney-on-Wye, Hereford HR3 6EH
