Aloha et bienvenue à Halawai (le point où le paradis et la terre se rencontrent), un sanctuaire Oasis sur la route de la plage magique de Green Sands à Naalehu, HI. Nous sommes situés à mi-chemin entre Hilo et Kona sur un sanctuaire paisible de 3 acres dans South Point mystique, Na'alehu Hawaii. C'est un endroit idéal pour avoir comme base lors de la visite de la partie sud de l'île. Votre location est un bel appartement 1 chambre 1 salle de bain situé à l'étage supérieur. Il y a un grand escalier extérieur pour accéder à l'étage supérieur, où vous passez par votre propre véranda privée (véranda couverte) pour vous détendre et profiter du jardin d'herbes et de fleurs en contrebas. Vous entrez dans la porte coulissante à un environnement joyeux, spacieux, propre, accueillant plein de lumière, bonne énergie, art hawaïen et couleurs !!! Pour votre confort, il y a une cuisine complète, avec îlot, cuisinière, micro-ondes et réfrigérateur, café, thé, fruits etc. La chambre a un nouveau matelas en mousse à mémoire de taille queen pour se détendre et rêver en toute tranquillité. La salle de bain attenante a une douche et est très grande et bien aménagée. Il y a un lit de jour complet avec un nouveau matelas en mousse à mémoire dans le salon pour se prélasser le jour ou dormir un autre invité ou un enfant si nécessaire. * Si nous sommes réservés s'il vous plaît consulter notre autre liste, intitulé "Sunrise Sanctuary, près de Green Sands Beach". Vous allez adorer votre séjour dans notre maison d'appartement. C'est un sanctuaire lumineux, neuf, propre, confortable et rempli d'Esprit Aloha! Nous allons vous donner votre vie privée pendant votre séjour, cependant, si vous avez des questions pendant votre séjour ici, ou si vous souhaitez des recommandations, nous aimerions partager afin que vous ayez une belle expérience. Nous vivons sur la propriété, niveau inférieur (entrée séparée), donc si vous avez une question s'il vous plaît envoyez un message texte ou appelez-moi si vous ne me voyez pas travailler dans le jardin. This place was so beautiful that we didn't want to go to our scheduled activities during the day. The love and expertise put into developing the gardens and the apartment are apparent in every detail. We loved our stay here, and Ka'Haiya was an amazingly responsive host. Preparing a breakfast with the farm fresh eggs and eating on the balcony while watching the birds was the best part of our vacation.

Heaven away from the city

We loved that we were away feom the city and in the country. We absolutely loved the yard, garden, fresh eggs. This place is cozy and had everything we needed to stay 9 days. I would definitely stay here again.

Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Excellent location and very spacious. Spent much of our time on the outside porch. Coffee and other amenities were provided. All couches and beds very comfortable.

Great little farm in good location

We had a great stay there. The owner showed us all around her small farm. We enjoyed the place, the birds and goats, and the proximity to Na'alehu, South Point, and Black Sands.The only drawback was not being able to do our laundry onsite. Other than that, it was pretty much perfect!

Paradise

Beautiful gardens and lovely accomodations. Clean and colorful unit with everything we needed. Proximity to south point was great for partner to go fishing off the shore. No AC, but weather is cooler and great breeze coming through house. Evenings were filled with frogs singing. Host was very welcoming and helpful. Would love to stay here again.

Peaceful Retreat

This is our favorite place to stay on the Big Island. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, non resort atmosphere, this is it! The unit is perfectly situated to watch the sunrise from the deck and from bed. The kitchen and bath are well appointed with all the amenities you might need. And the entire space is beautifully decorated, homey, and relaxing. The host is kind and thoughtful. Looking forward to our next visit, before we have even left....

Paradise in paradise! The property is like a small botanical garden. The plantings are beautifully maintained and are the colors of all the different leaves is amazing. Located on a quiet side road, the birds and frogs serenade you with their calls. It is a nice spacious unit with large living room with well-equipped kitchen, master bedroom, and large bathroom with shower. The resident cat, Sweety, will sometimes visit on the lanai. There are chickens, ducks, and goats in the fenced in area in the backyard. We enjoyed every thing about our stay here.

This was a beautiful unique property. It is so thoughtfully appointed with an emphasis on serenity and eco friendly systems. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place with a a feel of luxury this is the place to go. We had plenty of space for 3 adults and enjoyed making a light meal in the kitchen. The breezes make the apartment light and airy. We were woken by a rooster and watched a beautiful sunrise from our rooms and the lanai. The hostess was extremely helpful.

Oasis near South Point

We chose this property based on reviews, affordability and lovely decor! I am so glad we did. There are many perks to staying here..it may seem remote at first, but it is conveniently located to both sides of the island for day trips. Also, you have all you need in this home for cooking meals. The space is appointed wonderfully with seating and places to relax inside/outside. It is so lovely here. We happen to meet our host a few days in..and wish we met her sooner! I mean..this home is a little piece of heaven. You won't be disappointed.

Amazingly beautiful place with enchanting sunrise view

We enjoyed our too short stay in this beautiful place. I loved the interior decor. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen was well stocked. I most loved seeing an amazing sunrise from our deck. South point and the green beach parking lot are just a short drive at end of the road. Can highly recommend. Thank you :-)

Charming ohana on beautiful property

It is truly a sanctuary, and the sunrise *was* amazing... as advertised. Tastefully furnished interior, very quiet, and the grounds are lovely too. We got to experience an impromptu guitar set by Ka'Haiya Sophia's friend Junior, which was awesome. Kitchen well equipped (we cooked a full dinner).

Aloha, I enjoy drawing, painting, gardening, traveling, and making herbal plant medicines. Having lived on Maui and the Big Island each is unique and gives so much to our sense of peace and well being. Na'alehu is a most special place, one that remains undeveloped and unspoiled. We are continually working on creating an organic farm sanctuary. In addition to growing food we are growing traditional Hawaiian medicines. I honor the culture and indigenous ways and seek to live in Harmony with the Aina (land). I love different cultures that make us unique, yet connected as one human family. It is my sincere wish to share Aloha as it has been so lovingly shown to me.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Our home is located in South Point (Naalehu) In Hawaiian it is called "Ka Lae" which means "The Point", as its the southern most point of the Hawaiian Kingdom and the whole United States! No light pollution makes for FANTASTIC FOR STAR WATCHING UNDER THE MILKY WAY AND SOUTHERN CROSS!!! South Point is the very place where the first sea faring Polynesians (Hawaiians) came ashore so long ago and the region where the mightiest warrior, King Kamehameha trained in the Hawaiian arts. The land has strong Mana! (energy) On the way to Green Sands Beach you can still see remains of the rock hale's (houses) and stone Heiau's (temples) of these Ancient Hawaiian's. Our Neighborhood (South Point Road) is full of farms growing Macadamia nuts, coffee, and various other offerings. There is a first rate quaint coffee shop and small gift shop on a flower farm a couple houses down from us to enjoy outstanding Ka'u regional coffee, lattes and chai in their garden. Incredibly they also offer Yoga classes in the greenhouse of the flower farm. The town of Na'alehu (of which South Point is a part of) is so quaint with the famous Punaluu Bakery, Ka'u coffee plantations, Hana Hau restuarant, gas and small store. It is about an 8 minute drive into the heart of Na'alehu. Na'alehu Farmers Market is on Wednesdays and Saturdays! You will see why Mark Twain loved it here! Volcano's National Park and Thurston Lava Tube is about a 40 minute drive. Kahuku National Park is 1.5 miles away. Green Sand Beach is at the bottom of our road, Punaluu Black Sand Beach is about 15 minute drive and Whittington Beach Park is also down the road. Ocean View and Naalehu both have simple home style restaurants and each are about a 7 mile drive. For Groceries, if you are not stopping at Costco in Kona, then Ocean View is the best option as there are 2 large markets there to obtain groceries.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Your rental is an entire spacious beautiful, 1 bedroom 1 bath private apartment located on the upper floor. We call this the Sunrise Suite because the views from the bedroom of the sunrise, the moon rise and the stars can be utterly breathtaking. There is a grand outdoor staircase to access the upper floor, where you pass through your own private huge Lanai (an outside covered verandah) to relax on and enjoy the herb and flower garden below. You enter the sliding door to a cheery room full of light, good energy, Hawaiian art and colors. For your comfort there is a full kitchen, stove, microwave, refrigerator, and a coffee/ tea bar. There are also condiments, and salad dressings etc in the refrigerator for your usage.

The bedroom has a new queen sized memory foam mattress to relax and dream in peaceful ease. The adjoining large bathroom has a shower, is newly painted, stylish, and well appointed. In the living room there is a wonderful full size (memory foam mattress) daybed, super comfortable for lounging and perfect if extra sleeping arrangements are needed.

For those with chemical sensitivities. We clean with non-toxic old fashioned cleaners and essential oils only.

All bedding, mattress are pristinely maintained and pillows and mattress have triple encasement for ultimate cleanliness and comfort.
