Belle maison de plage de Cabo Matapalo près du parc national du Corcovado

Maison construite sur mesure sur une parcelle magnifiquement paysagée à quelques pas de l'océan. Il s'agit d'une maison à deux étages qui a une chambre d'hôtes, une grande salle de bain principale (avec douche à eau chaude), une cuisine équipée professionnellement, un salon et une grande enveloppe autour d'une terrasse couverte. A l'étage, un plan d'étage ouvert avec un grand espace de yoga, un lit king-size, un lit queen-size, un canapé-lit et une salle de bain complète. L'étage a également une zone de hamac de pont couvert, un espace en plein air pour voir le ciel nocturne, et à la fois un canapé-lit et un lit queen déroulant qui peuvent être utilisés pour accueillir des groupes plus importants. La maison est située au centre de la propriété et offre une intimité de clôture vivante et une observation abondante de la faune. Quatre espèces de singes peuvent être vues dans le confort du hamac. Tous les types d'oiseaux visitent quotidiennement les différents arbres fruitiers. Les jardins sont mûrs avec des fruits et des herbes et la recherche de nourriture est encouragée.

Amazing rental house! We found ourselves sitting on the porch and enjoying the pool even more than we expected because it was so relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the location and being able to walk to the beach, surf at Playa Pan Dulce, and have lunch at Martina's.

We thoroughly enjoyed the open-air, super clean, well-appointed and spacious home in the jungle. our host stopped by to check on us, and we had a sloth, macaws and other wildlife checking in and entertaining.

Our family spent a week at this amazing location! Michelle & Gretchen were both very responsive and friendly. Creatures galore..we loved the monkey migration each morning but there's so much more than that. Bring your binoculars! Kitchen well equiped. Dipping pool was great! Staying in an open-air house off grid may not be for everyone but we would do it again for sure! Thanks for sharing your place with our family and giving us lasting memories.

Amazing experience

Mil Flores was an amazing place to stay during our Osa experience. The home is beautiful and spacious. Monkeys and birds visited us daily. It's close to a couple of restaurants and multiple surf breaks. Michelle and Gretchen were incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Great stay

Lovely house and yard located very close to Martina's bar and restaurant which came in quite handy for meals. Lots of wildlife to see. Woke up to howler monkeys around 4:30 every morning, so it was early to bed each night. Was afraid it would be warm at night and difficult to sleep but was quite comfortable with the breeze upstairs and the fans help a lot. Spent a lot of time on the porch just relaxing. Would like to return to OSA and would definitely want to stay here next time again

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time at this amazing house. Woke up to howler monkeys. We saw lots of macaws and 3 Other types of monkeys. The layout of the house is great, lots of room and the pool was really nice. The kitchen is big and easy to cook in. There is a restaurant nearby, we went for dinner one night. It’s kind of pricey, what you would pay in a resort town in the US. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend Michele’s house.

We are very happy you enjoyed your stay. The house is meant for a proper holiday and I designed the kitchen for ease of cooking. Eating out has limited options here so it’s nice to be able to cook like you are at home. The animals make matapalo such a special place!

Wildlife galore

Six of us had a wonderful stay at Casa Mil Flores. The house was well laid out and beautiful, the kitchen was large and had everything we needed. We loved the open air feeling and the breezes that moved through. We woke every morning to the howler monkeys and so many amazing birds, it was such a treat to sit on the huge patio with our coffee and take it all in. The dipping pool was a great asset to the house and was well used. The landscaping was really well done and provided privacy from the road and other houses. There is a great little restaurant within a 2 minute walk, a couple of nice beaches and a great little waterfall, river walk very close to the house.Michelle and Gretchen were super responsive and helpful and we hope to be back at some time.

Everything was perfect! We loved the open air rooms, waking to the bird calls and bellows from the howler monkeys. Showering outside while watching toucan, macaws, and spider monkeys in the trees above was an experience I will treasure forever. As for the home, our jungle stay was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are covered with mosquito netting to prevent insects at night from joining your slumber. We loved returning to the property in the afternoons after long hikes or beach days and throwing open all the doors, resting in the hammocks and rocking chairs and using the pool to cool off all while watching the abundant wildlife cross through the property. Our stay here was simply magical. We love Mil Flores and hope to return again in the near future.

Very nice house, amazing area

Very happy with our one week stay. House was very livable and clean. Dipping pool is great addition. Location is phenomenal - beach is very close and wildlife is nonstop.

Great place to visit

I come to the Osa Peninsula in 1996 as a backpacker/surfer traveling alone. I found a spot I never wanted to leave and stayed full time for about 5 years. Over time I bought in 2003 land and built a home in 2007. I live between northern California and the Osa peninsula. I feel lucky that I did all of this at a young age and am happy to share my experience with others.

The Osa is a beautiful wildlife sanctuary unlike any other place on earth. I constantly hear from travelers that this is the best place they have gone in all of their travels. I have to say... I have traveled to many parts of the there truly is no place like home. My house is a creation that I built with the help of some wonderful friends. It has a special feel and is inviting. Its a little oasis in the jungle that has the finer things of modern living with the jungle outside the doorstep.

This area is a modern convenient home surrounded by wildlife and jungle. Steps away from the beach and immersed in nature. I built the home for comfort in an open air setting. There is an excellent solar system and wifi throughout the house. You are in the jungle but with the modern conveniences of home. It is off grid living at its best.
