Swim, bateau, poisson et amusez-vous à notre chalet au bord du lac.

Niché dans les étapes Northwoods et seulement à l'eau, cette cabane au bord du lac classique offre quelque chose pour tout le monde, cela est 'Vintage à son meilleur ». Notre belle propriété était autrefois une cabine "Norwood Resort".
Avec ses 3 chambres à coucher, son magnifique intérieur en pin noueux, son décor Northwoods, son porche SCREENED IN PORCH et sa terrasse w / Weber BBQ surplombant le lac, cette cabine «Designer Owned» joliment meublée ne vous décevra certainement pas.

   Le lac Thompson est un magnifique lac de 500 acres absolument parfait pour la pêche, le ski nautique, le jet-ski, le ponton et la natation. Les zones de baignade sont sûrs, de sable et peu profonde. 900 'de littoral et cinq piliers permettent beaucoup de place pour les bateaux et la pêche, afin d'apporter votre bateau!
Mère nature sourit sur nos 14 acres de bois et de la plage. Profitez de fers à cheval, d'un ballon de volley-ball, de sacs, d'une aire de jeux et d'une cheminée près du feu de camp dans un cadre familial.

This is a Dream Lakeside Cabin. Beautiful Lake, Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets. Very Calm and Peaceful, Wonderful Neighbors. The Cabin was spotless, our host was very communicative, happy to help you have a better stay. Rhinelander is a wonderful place to find peace and quiet and relax from the world. % Stars just isn't enough for this experience

We had a wonderful week at this cute and cozy cabin in the north woods with a beautiful view of the lake. Cabin was as pictured and perfect for our family vacation. We had a great time relaxing at the beach, fishing off the pier, kayaking in the lake, having meals in the screened in porch, sitting around the fire pit, playing games, and so much more. Visited several local establishments that had great food and enjoyed day trips to Eagle River and Minocqua that were only a short drive away. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Our family had a great time at this lakefront cabin ,very nice location in the woods by a beautiful lake and very friendly neighbors. House was very clean.Fishing from the pier was amazing. Truly recommend for any family to visit and spend a great time .

Beautiful beach front and space for sand castles, relaxing, and frog finding. It is a shared beach but the neighbors were very friendly. The cabin was the perfect size for the 6 of us. The three kids enjoyed the bunk beds and the adults enjoyed the wrap around deck. We had every meal in the screened porch that provided a cool place to relax. Very family friendly and would highly recommend.

My family had a truly wonderful stay at Gayl’s cabin. The place was peaceful and well-equipped, and we really appreciated the opportunity to use the kayaks. We were able to go kayaking, fishing, and swimming—all without leaving the property! It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.I sincerely recommend this vacation home.Thank you, Gayl!

Hidden gem

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this cabin in Rhinelander WI and we are already dreaming of our next visit! The cabin was nestled among the trees, providing complete privacy and a sense of total immersion in nature. The interior was cozy and comfortable, with plush furnishings. The surrounding woods were a treasure trove of hiking trails, wildlife, fishing, boating and stunning vistas. We spent our few days there exploring, and our nights sitting on the fishing dock gazing up at the star-filled sky. The cabin's owners have clearly put a lot of love and care into creating a special space for guests, and it shows in every detail. Whether you're looking for adventure, relaxation, or a combination of both, this cabin is the perfect destination. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Lovely cabin in the Northwoods!

Lovely cabin stay in the Northwoods: absolutely beautiful setting and cozy cabin feel. Gayl was wonderful and picked up right away when I called -concerned that I couldn't unlock the door. (It gets stiff in the cold!) We would happily return; 10/10 recommend!

Cutest Cabin on Lake Thompson

We had a wonderful week on Lake Thompson. The cabin was just as described and pictured. Owner was extremely easy to communicate with -- responsive in every way. The setting was picturesque and tranquil. The leaves were turning during our stay and it was beautiful to see. There were deer in the yard almost every morning. Turkeys and ducks, too. It's a short drive into Rhinelander, which was convenient. There are several good restaurants in the area. Three Coins at the Holiday Acres resort is just down the road. Farther afield, we enjoyed the White Stag Inn near Indian Lake and Little Bohemia Lodge in Manitowish Waters.

Our Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. One of our son’s took out the yayak, we had a fire every night and had s’more. We grilled out on the nice Weber grill. We had some friends stop and family too. We saw two deer close by, a turtle,ducks, etc. There was a full wrap around porch, etc. The only thing if it is real hot there is no air conditioning, but nice fans.Gayl is great! We would come back!! Thank you!!

Northwoods getaway

This was just what I was looking for, a nice clean quiet cabin on a lake to spend time with my adult boys, kayaking, fishing and some great naps! Plenty of room to cook and if you don’t feel like cooking the town is nearby with many choices. Great place for the kiddo’s as well.

Family Vacation

Our family vacation here was fabulous. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There were 6 adults ranging in age from 19-70. The beach and zero entry into the water was great for my 70 year old mom. We floated in the lake all day and played games every night around the table. There was enough room for us to spread out and have time by ourselves. We are so glad we rented this property and Gayle was fabulous to work with!

Weekend Get Away

Great family getaway

My family had a quiet, relaxing week at this cabin. The kids enjoyed the swim raft, multiple play areas, and feeding the resident ducks. The location was great, just a short trip to town for shopping and plenty of day trip options available within an hour.

Great cabin on the lake

The whole family had a great and relaxing time at the cabin. Everyone swam off the dock to stay cool, especially on a few really hot days. Gayl and Jeff have a wonderful place and were great hosts. We’ve rented VRBO properties all over the country and this was one everyone wants to come back to again soon.

We decided to buy our cabin after visiting Norwood Resort. My husband vacationed here
as a child with his family many years ago. They were selling Cabins, and we decided this
was a great place for the family to come back to year after year to make great memories!

What makes this so great, is that Lake Thompson is an excellent Water Skiing lake!!
The whole family loves to Ski and Wake Board, so this lake has exactly what we love, smooth, calm water. It's great for fishing, too. There is always something fun to do & friendly people !!
