Cette grande maison de plage est un favori depuis des générations. Le rez-de-chaussée offre une vue sur l'océan depuis la salle à manger, ainsi qu'une cuisine entièrement équipée, un salon, une tanière, un foyer au gaz, une chambre avec un lit double, une salle de bains 3/4 récemment rénovée et une buanderie.  A l'étage, il y a quatre chambres (1 King et 3 Queens) et deux salles de bain complètes récemment rénovées.  Il y a aussi un «espace pour les enfants» à l'étage au milieu des chambres avec une télévision à écran plat, 2 ensembles de lits superposés jumeaux, plus 1 lit de jour avec lit gigogne double en dessous.  La terrasse est parfaite pour un barbecue et offre également une vue sur l'océan. À seulement 3 pâtés de maisons du centre-ville et juste à côté de la promenade, cette maison de plage est parfaite pour une retraite ou une réunion de famille et est également à proximité de plusieurs autres grandes et petites maisons de vacances à la plage. Parking pour 4 voitures.

Lots of space for our party with all the amenities we needed! Great location, close to everything. The only cons for us were the doors to the rooms and bathrooms not locking, and neither of the two bathtubs were able to hold water. We had to plug them with a bath towel to keep the water in. There was no exhaust/kitchen ventilation. Besides the things, all was good here for a great vacation for our party of 7!

On Saturday there were bugs that were on the counter in the upstairs bathroom. No matter how much we cleaned the counter, sink and wall, the bugs kept reappearing. Closed the door and did not use that restroom the rest of our stay.

For such a location and price, it's acceptable, but it needs to be renovated and it will be a gorgeous house.

Overall pretty good. Amazing location which is basically what you're paying for. Great for kids. Would have been nice to have better blinds or curtains to keep the sun out of the bedrooms so the kids would sleep longer. The kitchen had ants (after dishes were left out on the counter) which was annoying but not the end of the world. Sounds like older reviews are obsolete (I think it has new owners now?). Sheets were fine and had plenty of towels :)

Celebrating mom and dad's 50th!! Wonderful stay!! Lots of extras we didn't expect. Loved the basement shower and sink to rinse off after beach play! This home was just right and within walking distance to beach and town. Everything was clean and comfortable! Thank you!!

Pleasant Family Home

The home was built in the 1940s and was spacious, with plenty of room for family dinners and game nights. The architecture was beautiful, and it was less than a block from the boardwalk and a five-minute walk to the main street in Seaside. It was wonderful. We had a power outage due to a storm, and the house kept the heat and was still very comfy. Good memories! :)

Perfect!

Loved it the moment I stepped in. Spacious, homey, and plenty of comfortable seating! We were 12, and plenty of space. Most bedrooms were furnished lovely. One open room had 2 sets of bunk beds and a twin. 3 bathrooms made us really nice. It’s an older style home with carpet throughout. I’d definitely return!

Great Property!

We enjoyed staying here. The location of the place was great. It was just close enough to the main strip of Seaside but not too close to where there were always people around. The place was clean and had plenty of room for 12 people. There were some issues that came up but it wasn't a big deal to us. For example, some of the bathrooms didn't have locks on them, the handle on the kettle broke before we got a chance to use it, and the lamp in the living room bulb popped and stopped working. Like I said, it wasn't something that we needed repaired right away so we enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing

Many things about the house was great, especially the location. Many puzzles and games. The host was available for communication. Unfortunately, some of the linens and blankets had holes and stains. The dishwasher was leaking water so we couldn't use it. Some of the dishes needed to be rewashed when we arrived. We couldn't get the VCR working to play movies (and we did have a techie with us). Overall, the place needs some TLC.

Not the best experience

The description and pictures of this property way overstate the actual condition of the house. There are 5 bedrooms not 6. That alone would have led us not to stay here. Supposed bedroom 6 was an open area between bedrooms containing 2 bunk beds and a single bed in an open area. A television did exist but it has no cable and was only a smart television predicating that users have accounts to access any programming. In short, it served very little use and the house practically had no television service. The home is in desperate need of maintenance and upgrading. The front steps are a hazard with falls waiting to happen. The price was low for the area and we now know why. Carpet is old and needs replacing. Kitchen much the same.

Great location

The property is in a great location super easy access to the beach and prom. Ad listed ocean view there is none. The whole place could use a good deep cleaning, but the house for perfect for our combined family of 11.

Comfortably slept all 9 of us (2 families). Reasonably short walk to the beach. We liked it so much this would be our first choice when we vacation in Seaside again.

Fun Stay

First, and most importantly, we had a wonderful weekend! The house is in the perfect location, was the perfect size, and had the perfect layout for 4 mom friends and their 8 teenagers! On the downside, the house needs some updates, new sheets/towels, and a good cleaning. With some TLC this place could be charming!

Comfortable basic beach house

We rented this house for a multi-generational family trip. House was much as advertised -- a comfortable basic beach house in a prime location. House has some wear and tear but it worked fine for us. Kitchen was well equipped. Our one issue was that the internet connection was pretty thin which made it hard for folks who had to be on work calls.

We would rent this place again. The place was clean, there are many rooms in the house! If you are looking for a place that will make it feel like you are spending time with your family this is it. There are many games to play, only a few blocks from Broadway street.

Great place for large gathering for people w/o physical difficulties

Essential areas of the house (kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms) were clean, but the entire house could use a deep cleaning. The blinds were filthy (which wasn't pleasant for opening them or the windows) and some of a cabinetry around the living areas was sticky. This is also not a house for people with physical difficulties. The front entry steps are probably not to code as they are steep and very narrow and the handrail is wood and splintery. Since the youngest in our party was 60, those front steps were an issue with a couple of us with knee and hip problems. I think they are worth mentioning in your advertisement.
