Property has a nice view and a great location with a parking spot, all kitchen, utensils, and pots and pans and plates if you feel like staying in for lunch or dinner and a very comfortable bed. All furnishings were very nice.

nice condo with view and easy walk to beach

Condo is clean, neat, and nice view of ocean from balcony. Easy walk to beach. Older property, so had a few things needing repair/updating and needed newer patio furniture with table for balcony which is where we spent most of our time. Overall, as listed and nice place to stay to visit the beach. Easy to get to, parking was ok, and pet friendly!

Great Location

Can't beat this location. The home was nice and clean and has everything you would expect. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio with a gorgeous ocean view. The building and inside are a bit outdated. The complex could desperately use a refresh which would elevate the please so much.

Convenient and Comfy

We stayed a few days on the island at this cozy little spot. The location is perfect and just a very short distance from White Cap Beach. There was also a little bar right on the corner within a few feet from the place. The check in & check out process was as easy as can be. The bed was comfy and neat. The balcony had a view of the ocean. Although nothing fancy, it has all you need for a nice stay on the island.

Great place for a beach escape

This apartment located at the second line of beach on the North Padre Seawall is the perfect place for a beach getaway. You walk to the beach easily, and you don't need to take out your car. The fact that it has a small kitchenette allows you to cook your own meals, prepare beach snacks, make ice and keep your drinks cool, or make breakfast at your own time and pace. I stayed only for a weekend getaway and did not try the pool. The place was also quiet during my stay.

Pure joy and peaceful

We loved our stay. Extended to 7 pm checkout, and it's making all the difference. Quiet, beach view from the back deck. GREAT deck chairs to sit on the balcony day and night and watch the ocean. Soooo clean and simple. Perfect kitchen. Beds are good. Slept well. Quiet property. Super convenient to everything. Would def recommend. Thanks to the owners for such a nice stay.

3 day weekend getaway

Wi-Fi instructions were not correct, couldn’t find with the ones supplied, there were also no instructions on how to use the TVs. We finally got the main TV to come on but not the bedroom unit. We did enjoy the rental unit though, clean and very close to the beach

The tile floors were very convenient due to beach sand as well as our puppy. There were plenty of towels and wash rags for several days. Some maintenance is needed - burned out bulbs, floor leaves black on feet, minor fixes. Also we could never find the washer/dryer. Manager/Mgmnt company was amazing when I called due to an emergency with my son. Very helpful!

The property was clean when we arrived, pleasantly cool compared to the summer air. We only had hot water for showers on day 1, the remaining days the hot water was room temperature at best regardless of time of day, length of time between running any hot water, and even letting it run in case we were far from the boiler. The key code was long and took multiple times to try to enter before being successful. A shorter code would be ideal. The location was ideal, as it was close to local dining and only a block and a half from the beach. My 9yo pup got to come along, and she even enjoyed her time at the beach. Aside from the stairs killing us by the end of our stay, everything was as described and worth the cost of the stay.

Don't judge a book by the cover

As we drove up to the rental our hearts sank as the exterior of the complex leaves a lot to be desired but once in the condo we were relieved to see that it was clean and well suited for our planned beach stay. The location is excellent maybe a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and you can see the ocean if you look out to the right as the picture shows. There is a tiny bar on the way that's great for drinks and appetizers and they have live music at night (which you can hear but it stops at 11 and didn't bother us). The condo is clean, well-furnished and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I would comments negatively on is that there were limited utensils and only two glasses but not a big problem if you come prepared. Overall, for the price this was a great choice for us especially as we could bring our furry friend (for non-pet owners don't let this deter you choosing this condo as it was very clean). The only reason for the 4 stars is the outside of the complex.

Never, Ever Stay here!

We arrived later than planned (9:30pm) and found the condo. The entire floor outside had no lighting. Finally, tried to get the digital deadbolt to work and it would not. We called Vacasa/VRBO and they tried to help to no avail. They called the on-duty Prop Mgr, It took an hour for her to call back. She then continued to lie to us (the few times she answered our calls) about sending someone to fix the lock. At 2:30 am Vacasa gave us a work around that got us in, The toilet handle was broken and the place was filthy, rips in the dining roo m chairs, and the list goes on. The Prop Mgr never called during our stay to check if we even got in or anything else. I have Phone Records to prove all the issues from the first night. Since we couldn't trust the Vacasa work around for the electronic deadbolt to work every time, one of us had to stay in the Condo all the time. Not much of a birthday trip for my wife. I would NEVER stay here again even if it was free. I would have given iit ) stars if I could.

Great Condo with Good Views

The condo was great. We were pleasantly surprised to see a brand new couch in the living room. They really should update the listing photos. It was located in a great spot with the beach a short walk away. There’s a really nice bar right behind the building. When you walk out to the balcony, the slider is tricky to open and close but not a big deal. That should definitely be changed out at some point. The bathroom is stocked well but the shower is old and outdated and should definitely be updated but, for the money, it was great. The bed was super comfortable but the bedding leaves much to be desired. If we were to stay here again, I would bring my own pillows and a better blanket. That being said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only real con I have was with the management team. When we arrived, the smoke detector was sitting on the bar disconnected. I sent management a picture and asked them to please take care of this as it’s a safety violation in a rental especially being on the third floor. They told me because it was late, they would send someone the next day to take care of it. We were gone all day and when we got back after 5pm, it still had not been taken care of and when we checked out that Sunday, it was still sitting on the bar. I really hope they fixed that for the next renter. All in all, it’s a great place in a great location.

Won’t go agian

I have it 5 stars only because the maintenance man was awesome and I don’t want him to get a bad rating. There is very few dishes, the dishes were DIRTY AND IN THE CABINET. The property is suppose to have Wi-Fi but it was off and they didn’t know how to get it back on. We spent our whole first day waiting on customer service and the maintenance man to communicate and figure it out instead of being at the beach like we should of. In my opinion we should be refunded the first day having to wait around and the cleaning the unit because their maid suck, the floors were dirty and the dishes. It was very noisy because they were doing work on units around us. It shows the pool right below but it isn’t , you can’t see it from unit. Customer service just typed and didn’t offer any help at all. Just no!!

Great value and a great location.

Great access for early morning and late evening strolls on the beach with the pups. Loved being so close to the beach but within an easy drive to great restaurants and shopping. Great, dog friendly beach. Right size for a couple and their dogs, or for a small group of friends. Horseback riding, charter fishing, beach rentals all nearby.

For a one bedroom, it was super spacious and such a quiet area. Walking distance to the beach. Only downside is, 3rd floor so don’t leave the beach too tired lol

Relocated

Our original booking was unavailable at the last minute. We were relocated to another place. Not as desirable as what we booked but we are pretty easygoing. Instead of being a walk to the beach, we were on the other side of the Hwy. The unit was still nice but not something I would have chose when browsing units.

Good Vacation

The outside leaves much to be desired and have to walk up 3 flights but once you are inside, it was very nice and comfy and we had a great time. Would recommend for the company to replace lights (bulbs?) in stairwells as they were not working and was hard to see the stairs at night. Other than that, very affordable compared to other areas on the island, and roomy accommodations.
