Great time. Only hiccup was power going off the last day we were there. But property managers kept us apprised of the progress and of course it was “an act of god” and couldn’t be helped. Perfect location and condo was perfect fit for my husband and me and our little dog. She loved meeting everyone at the complex.

Condo needs a little TLC, needs new sofa and upgrade dishwasher. Was very clean and furnished well with all kitchen needs. Balcony dirty when we arrived but management took care of pigeon problem. Management responded quickly. With a few upgrades condo would be a super excellent experience

Awesome stay

We came down to see the turtle release and our stay was very pleasant. We only had one hiccup and that was there were no sheets for the pull out sofa, but we called the property owner and they delivered the sheets promptly. Otherwise the stay was perfect. The apartment was clean, the pool was relaxing the grills were even clean, and the distance to the beach was so nice. Thanks for making our little down here so enjoyable.

Beach Getaway

The unit and property look a lot nicer in pics than in person. The couch was dirty with cereal or granola and refrigerator food stains from prior guest. We are neat freaks, so a little disappointing with cleaning fee which is charged. We had a family above us stomping both evenings which was pretty annoying, but what you can get when you stay in a multi-story property. Otherwise, the stay was good and the beach was nice.

Padre Pearl a tree the Beach Club

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in 4 different units at the Beach Club. We love the location and ease of getting in and out. This unit on the second floor looked over the main entrance and I worried about noise from that, there was none. We make the same comment after the first night every time, the complex is very bright at night, which keeps the units lit up. Blackout shades would be nice. We did not cook this trip, like we usually do, so cant comment on the kitchen. The king bed was comfy, but a four poster bed frame is a bit much for the small room. The balcony is unsafe as the handrail is loose from the wall, would not let my daughter go out there. Overall the stay was fine, we don't require much, just a clean space and decent bed, which we got. Unfortunately, we had several coolers stolen from our vehicle overnight, so the parking areas are not safe.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is nice and in an excellent location for the beaches and fishing. It is exactly as shown in the photos and maintenance responded immediately to fix a minor issue with the toilet when I called. Excellent check in and check out via Padre Escapes. Seems to be a very safe area. My complaints would be that the floor did not seem to have been well cleaned on my arrival, the vacuum cleaner did not work (I was there more than 30 days), and there was some cockroach activity. While I don't think the condo was infested, I found dead roaches on arrival and battled with a few live ones. I kept all food in the fridge, emptied trash regularly, and used some pest spray that kept them mostly under control. Still, while I recognize this is Texas, roaches makes you feel a bit uncomfortable and I did not remove clothing from suitcases and kept them secure. My wife and I owned condos in Waikiki that were vacation rentals and I fully understand that pests can move from condo to condo in a building. That is likely the case here. Overall, I really enjoyed the unit and the great location. We are probably going to relocate from Hawaii to Corpus Christi. Island fever is real...ha!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the townhouse was in good condition. The shower/bath combination was dated and the shower head needed some maintenance. The curtains could be changed out with blackout shades as there is a lot of light that comes through from the parking lots and outdoor lights from other units. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathroom towels could be increased, one set per person, one hand towel is not enough.

Perfect Perfect Perfect

The property was exactly as seen in the pictures. Excellent kitchen, very clean and walking distance to the beach. We met several people at hot tub, pool and weight room. We had a problem with the washing machine and I called the management phone number and they responded within an hour to fix it! They were great, these people really have their act together! Very very happy!

November stay at Padre Pearl

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location close to beach; nicely maintained unit; just right for a couple, but would have been crowded with a guest. Oven gave off some kind of vapor -- probably from a cleaning agent -- that set off the smoke detector, so we turned it off and used the microwave. The interior stairs and hallways were not well maintained with many goat heads embedded in the carpet, but the apartment and balcony were very clean. Padre Escapes was very helpful with the check-in and check-out process and we will certainly book our return trip through them.
