Wonderful weekend getaway!We had a fantastic stay at this cottage over the weekend. The property itself is excellent, and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The highlight for us was definitely the huge backyard with fire pit and easy access to the lake. On top of that, communication with the owner was extremely efficient with very quick responses throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lakefront retreat!

The property was beautiful and had everything we needed and then some. The only thing I might have wanted differently was to get the access code the day before. When we arrived at the property, I didn’t have a good signal and was not able to get on the internet or access my emails to check for the code or get the host information. But, walking closer to the water allowed me to receive the signal and QI answered promptly and gave me the information I needed. The ladies weekend worked out beautifully.

An amazing piece of property! Great space for a group to spend time together outside or inside. I loved having a spacious backyard... good for little ones to play. Loved having the paddle boat to use... would've used the others (kayaksbikes) with more time. Great amenities! The space was reasonably clean. Overall, great experience!

Great stay

Richard’s property was perfect for a cottage getaway with friends. We had a great time and the place was well sized for the 9 of us. We would definitely stay at this cottage again.

Very nice location that’s suitable for families or friends! The canoes and kayaks were an excellent addition, and exploring the lake was a fun way to spend the days we were there.

Great cottage. Really enjoyed ourselves.

We had a group of 12 (8 adults, 4 kids) stay here and we had a great weekend. There were more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for us to be comfortable, and the open concept main area was spacious. The property is very large with a gorgeous walkout and deck towards the lake. We loved the fire pit close to the lake! We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to hopefully renting this cottage again.

Great place to get away and unwind. Great location and close enough to Fenelon Falls and Lyndsay for shopping. Beautiful waterfront and enough trees for shade. Enough room to sleep 9 adventures seniors.

Fantastic weekend

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly how it shows in the pictures. The property was well maintained and was extremely clean when we arrived. The host was fantastic and cared to any question or concern that i had prior to our stay and for the whole weekend he were there incase I needed him. Overall 10/10 stay and we look forward to going back in the future!

Large property with beautiful deck for sitting by the water. Loved the sunset views! Family friendly cottage with great floor plan with everything on one level. Covered table area outside great for shade during the day and playing cards at night. Water was clear but weedy for swimming out past dock. We enjoyed fishing in the canoe and kayaks. Our family had a fun week enjoying the sunshine and relaxing by the water.

Family Birthday

This cottage was all that we expected and a bit more. The listing is very accurate. The owner was quick to respond to our texts when we had questions. We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children (4 generations) and it met all of our needs. We would love to return.

Less private then we anticipated, but great time. Nice docks chairs, decks to hang out. Kayaks were great. paddle boat wasn't working to the disappointment of some of our group. Bicycles were nice to have as well.

Kirkfield cottage by the river

We had a great stay in the cottage. Richard was very helpful to walk us through the details and was responsive throughout. We really liked the place, it was cozy, clean - the outside propane fireplace was really good place to hangout. We were able to do some light fireworks beside the water area on new year's eve. Would very much like to explore this place again in summer time to use the kayaks, boats and bicycles provided with the cottage.
