Panorama Lakefront Cottage

Relax on the upper deck and enjoy legendary Kawartha's sunsets in the total privacy of our large property that includes over 185 ft of waterfront fun.
Take the back deck stairs or a gentle walk down the south stone path to our huge year-round dock ideal for sunbathing, fishing, swimming and diving. The north path leads to a low water entry point and swimming area.
Enjoy over 1,500 sq. ft. of living space, with 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and dining table that expands to seat 10 guests. The Great Room features a stone wood burning fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic lakefront views.
Shadow Lake is an excellent recreational lake known for its clean water, short driving distance from the GTA and quick access to Coboconk services, grocery stores, local restaurants and a variety of amenities.

This cottage has a very cosy cottage vibe, with a stunning lake view - floor to ceiling windows! The property is forested and private - just perfect. Comfortable beds and furniture, room for everybody in the great room. Our family and friends loved it! Hosts were amazing, booking and communication was easy.

Our Multigenerational Family visit was amazing. Cottage was everything we expected and more. Property owner had everything available that we needed. Lake was great for swimming and kayaking. Deck was a wonderful spot to relax. Grounds were well kept. It is a property we would love to return to in the future.

Most Memorable Thanksgiving

We stayed here to celebrate thanksgiving, and we had the most enjoyable time. The cottage was clean and beautiful, the space was functional, the host was supremely helpful, and we made memories we will not soon forget. A must-visit.

Summer Chill

Exceeded our expectations as it was nestled in a cozy bay near beautiful mini islands and great places to kayak, swim and rest on inflatables in the sun. Kitchen was set up perfectly to cook and enjoy meals outside on the deck amongst the quiet lake and beautiful scenery.

Panorama Cottage

This cottage was delightful and had everything we needed. We were a mix of families and there was ample sleeping space and tons of outdoor space to eat, swim, and lounge. The dock was awesome and the swimming and kayaking (including the swimming pad) were perfect for adults and kids alike. Owners were responsive and helpful. Would definitely rent this again!

Yearly friends getaway

Massimos cottage was one of the nicest rentals we’ve ever stayed at and we rent at a fair bit of properties! First of all, beautiful property! Has everything you need to be comfortable on your holiday! Thank you for having us! All of said we can’t wait until we can visit again .

Girls weekend away

Check-in and communication with the owner were excellent. The checkout procedures were very clear. This cottage was very well equipped and had pretty much everything we needed for our weekend away. Theres plenty of spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view, both inside and outside. Thank you for a for being great hosts!!!

Good location, amenities and privacy

We stayed here 2 nights. Accessing property was easy. The cottage was pretty clean and equipped with tons of upto date amenities for a relaxed stay. Wish there was more supply of coffee and paper towels. Also, living room could use a bit more lighting. Would love to come here again.

Beautiful cottage vacation destination

Oh where do i begin…. We were a group of friends from London Ontario looking to escape the city for a week and started the search for a cottage and stumbled across this beautiful piece of heaven… it absolutely exceeded our expectations. There was more then enough space and comfort for the four of us. Lots of comfortable bedrooms and places to just hang out and relax. The views from the upper deck are spectacular and the dock on the lower portion of the property felt like we were on a tropical island. The dock is also very stable and doesn’t move around with the changing water levels… i know that may not seem like a big deal but it made hanging out on the dock very relaxing. I’ve never had such a wonderful nap. The cottage itself was absolutely perfect! Lots of parking and lots of room to turn a truck around. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Right down to cooking utensils and everything you need to have fun on the water. The property manager was so helpful and very good an communication. I can go on forever and ever about how perfect our stay was but I’ll keep it moderately short and sweet. Do yourself a favour and book this cottage before it’s too late… BEST STAY EVER! Thank you for everything. We appreciate every second we got to spend at this amazing property.

Cozy, clean, mid-century styled cabin

Our stay at Massimo’s cabin was great! It is a beautiful cottage that is tastefully decorated, thoroughly cleaned, and well maintained. There were 5 of us staying the weekend, which the cottage accommodated easily. Communications with Massimo were quick and easy. He provided a detailed set of clear instructions that made it easy to access the cottage and the various amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking except some cooking oil, which was admittedly our fault for forgetting, but something that could be useful for the next forgetful guest. Everything else was available (pots, pans, cutlery, cooking utensils, coffee makers). The propane tank for the grill ran out of propane when we tried to cook dinner on our last night. Unfortunate, but not a big deal for us since we were able to quickly pivot to the stove. Also, it was listed that there were 2 kayaks for use but we weren’t able to find them in the shed (also not a big deal for us). Lastly, it isn’t mentioned in the instructions but the water is safe despite the taste. Recommend bringing bottled water if you are sensitive to slightly off taste. Those were the only “issues” (if you can even call them that). Everything else was fantastic. You get great privacy from the next door neighbours, a beautiful view of the lake, and a cozy, spacious living room for when the weather turns. Would highly recommend this for people looking to have a quiet weekend way from the city.
