The Little Lodge is everything I imagined an Appalachian mountain cabin would be. It has just the right amount of rustic charm while still feeling cozy and welcoming.We loved spending our week here enjoying peaceful walks around the property and through the wooded mountainside, watching deer meander through, beautiful sunsets from top of the mountain side and gathering around the bonfire under a sky full of stars. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need.It feels peaceful, authentic, and like a true escape from everyday life. We absolutely loved our stay and are already hoping we’ll have the chance to come back.

This little lodge is INCREDIBLE. Honestly, one of the best cabin type places we have stayed and we have stayed in so many. It is cozy, cute, has everything, gorgeous and calm and you hike to the AT, about half mile hike to get on the trial. So relaxing and just what we needed. Cannot wait to book again. Clean. Mountain views. Fireplaces. Perfect.

Beautiful property

The cabin is the perfect size for a family of 5. Great outdoor scenery. The sunset from the porch of the house on the top of the property was especially great. It was also close to multiple state parks. Plenty to do for a fun getaway.

Great house in a great setting

This property is located close to many attractions but is tucked away. The house itself was cute, well maintained and as shown in the listing photos. Michael was very responsive and a great host!

We live just minutes from Great Falls, with world class kayaking and ferocious rapids. When we are not enjoying city life in our Nation's Capitol, we relax at our mountain retreat an hour away in Boonsboro, MD. We enjoy welcoming guests from around the world into our homes and look forward to meeting you.
