Great resort, but listing was inaccurate

I made my reservation because it said the unit would have a patio or balcony. That was really important to me. When we arrived, our unit had neither. I called the front desk and was told that the type of room I booked does not come with a balcony or patio. I explained that the VRBO listing claims that it does. After a lot of back and forth, the resort upgraded me. It was a very frustrating, unnecessary hassle at the end of a long day of travel. I'm not sure who manages the VRBO listings for the resort, but this needs to be fixed. The resort itself was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay again, but I would book directly through the resort so that I know exactly what I'm getting.

Awesome in Orlando

First time at Westgate Resorts. Loved the location, amazing room with plenty of room, clean and extremely comfortable. So many activities at the resort - no need to leave the property. Very easy communication with all parties. Will definitely return.

Staff was froendly, host was very quick to respond with any questions. Check in was a bit strange, but overall not terrible. Room was nice and clean with the exception of the table (not a big issue). Resort had a ton of amenities and lication was excellent. 5 minutes fro. Seaworld and 15 to 20 from disney. Would definitely visit again

Quick get away trip

The resort was great, the staff was amazing. No fault of the resort but I wish I had more time to enjoy the activities available to the guest. I decided to extend my day an additional day and my contact was on point and quick to help me with my stay. I will stay there again!

The room was back in a dark corner and our neighbors were extremely loud. At 11pm I called to complain as we had to be up early. Security told them it was us who complained which made it worse with yelling at us and banging on our door throughout the night. Didn’t feel safe. Amenities were not close to room and not worth it.

360 Degrees of Noise

You get what you pay for, I guess, but I will never go back. What the listing doesn’t tell you is they will try to schedule you for a pitch. Maybe it was just our unit, but at any given moment, you could hear the family in the next unit that we shared the conjoined room door with, the cars parking and leaving, the cleaning service talking, the interstate traffic, garbage trucks, random guests walking by, you name it. Not enough parking so we always felt rushed to get back to get a parking spot near our building. Too far away to walk to any of the amenities but couldn’t take the car because we wouldn’t get a spot even close to it building. Maybe this would be worth it if it was on a beach, but it was not worth it.

Awefull experience

I will not book another stay with Vrbo. I am suppose to get reimbutsed from work but VRBO and property manager both refuse to give me an invoice of my payement I made. I called them about 5 times. Spent countless hours on the phone with both and still refuse to isssue an invoice l like any other normal business. Now my work can't reimburse me for this business trip stay. This is the last time I stay in vrbo property!! In addition, the people in the suite above me were having a party it took 3 phone calls and 3 hrs (finally at until 2 am they stopped) for the front desk to send security and tell them to stop. Not worth the money or stay!!!! Aweful experience !!

Long Weekend

The property is everything you could ask for with amenities, activities and definitely kid friendly. The unit was spotless and had everything you could want to cook and comfort level was amazing. Dealing with check in at the resort was a total hassle but I had Jake our property manager's phone number and when we experienced trouble I called him and within 15 minutes he had contacted the main desk and the problem was solved. Thank you, Jake! Another issue was parking. Unfortunately there are more units than parking spots and if you come in later in the evening you will not find a spot. During the day, coming and going is not an issue. Our work around at night was Uber! Worked perfectly and allowed us to not have to drive and deal with traffic and secured our parking spot at night. Rates were reasonable and had great drivers each time. Even with these two semi negative comments nothing took away from the incredible unit and the fact that we would definitely return!!

Lovely apartment and resort convenient to attractions

Lovely spacious apartment with large bedroom, bath, living room, dining area and kitchen. Nice resort facilities include pools, tennis/pickleball courts, mini golf and bowling. All seems well-maintained. The water park was closed for maintenance during our stay. Our only criticism is that the kitchen had the bare minimum of supplies: no cooking knives, measuring spoons, serving dishes, salt or pepper. Only four sets of dining utensils. It would be nice to have a bit more to support cooking in.

Everything you would want at a resort

The Villa was absolutely beautiful and so were the views. The whole resort was everything you would want at a resort. The spa was amazing who doesn’t love a good massage right. The restaurants to the market place and a really nice size arcade. Can’t say enough. Everything was absolutely perfect. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything, Sharyn
