SOUNDSIDE Avon - Kinnakeet Shores. Réservez votre aventure sur l'île Hatteras à SEA CREATURE, cette maison située au bord d'un lac est située au bord de l'île. Accès à la plage est une courte distance de marche de la maison et l'océan et des vues sonores peuvent être vues depuis les navires de haut niveau regarder. La maison est également idéalement située à proximité des restaurants et des commerces. Une piscine privée vous accueille à la maison et juste à l’intérieur de la maison, vous trouverez une salle de jeux avec table de baby-foot. En outre, le niveau inférieur de la maison offre une chambre à coucher et une chambre avec 2 lits simples qui partagent l'utilisation d'une salle de bain commune complète. Le niveau intermédiaire de la maison dispose de deux chambres à coucher principales (roi, reine), chacune avec une salle de bain privée complète. La salle de bain principale dispose d'une luxueuse baignoire jacuzzi, d'une double vasque et d'une douche à l'italienne. Une autre chambre de la reine et une chambre avec 2 lits simples partagent une salle de bain complète commune. Un demi-bain vous accueille sur le palier que vous montez au niveau supérieur de la maison pour trouver la grande salle spacieuse avec des plafonds voûtés. Détendez-vous devant la grande télévision à écran plat et la cheminée à gaz tandis que le chef de la famille prépare le repas du soir dans la cuisine. Un bar de petit-déjeuner fournit des sièges supplémentaires tandis que la salle à manger adjacente assied le groupe. Fun stay

House was nice and very big, but pictures on listing were taken a long time ago. Noticeable wear and tear on this place. Pool and hot tub are great. Great location for riding bikes

Friends and Family Beach Vacation

Overall we were pleased. Some furniture and appliance were either broken or suboptimal. There were not enough kitchen utensils. The pool and hot tub were great. The plumbing in the house was prone to clogging even with just fluid or a small amount toilet paper. The garbage disposal was broken.

Do not use VRBO and Do NOT stay at this property. The layout of the house is great but it has major flaws; rotten floors that have been covered with LVP and an inefficient HVAC system that was ignored and masked with poorly installed window units on the third floor. When it rained, water POURED in from the window units and seeped into an electrical outlet. It was a serious hazard and the property manager didn’t seem to care for hours. To top it off, the property manager, Surf or Sound, called to tell me I hadn’t paid the fees for our two dogs so they charged my debit card. This is after departing. I emailed them the paid bill that showed “additional charges” which I assumed were the dog charges. They said that had to be a VRBO charge because the pet fees weren’t included in my original payment even though I disclosed two pets when deciding to rent the house. I will never use VRBO or stay at a Surf or Sound property again. Additionally, the owner of this property is just an investor looking for rental income that is essentially negligible to him. We looked him up on GIS and spoke to him.

We drove a long way, great home, pier closed!

Tell the next renter’s you don’t have access to the water from the subdivision. The pier is closed at Avon!

A little disappointed really has potential

Where do I start? The Sea Creature really has a lot of potential. Is was really sad that the online pictures are somewhat deceptive. The bedroom were ok, but new new mattresses. The living room is spacious, but the couch was torn and dirty. The carpets were filthy, and your feet stayed dirty. The ceiling in one bedroom needed a little repairing. Definitely need a new coffee maker. The sad part is you change those little things, and the house would get an A+ rating

We wish we understood how many steps were involved. We had ants in the kitchen, the fridge does not get cold, the grill is very dirty, and the dryer does not work. However, this house is nice. We had a lovely vacation.

The house has obviously had a few years of neglect.

This was our first visit to OBX and we really enjoyed the area as we are already making plans to come back next year. We just wouldn't stay in that house again. To start the stove top had some issues as at least one of the burners wasn't working, The Freezer had some difficulty keeping temp, The outside grill was disgusting. The grates on the grill were completely rusted out as were the baffles. We grill a lot and were pretty disappointed in that as we had just bought a bunch of food for grilling that had to be cooked differently and if you are a Tuna eater you know the difference lol. When we arrived The kids were excited to get in the Hot Tub but when we took the top off, the top practically disintegrated in our hands which made the water really dirty. The upstairs AC didn't work, the blender to make drinks didn't work and there was no posted code to the internet. I can say that Surf or Sound realty was very good at responding quickly but there was just way too much wrong with house as it is. I would use that company again but next year we are going to be on ocean side in a better house.
