La baie de Kealakekua (qui signifie Pathway to the Gods) possÚde l'un des récifs coralliens les plus spectaculaires de Big Island. Parce qu'il s'agit d'un sanctuaire de la vie marine, les poissons sont abondants et pullulent sur le récif bien développé qui descend des rives dans l'océan. Les dauphins fileurs, les raies manta et les tortues de mer vertes sont souvent vus se reposant dans la baie. Visite des baleines à bosse en hiver de janvier à mars. Les récifs font de cette zone une vitrine sous-marine, alors venez nager ou faire de la plongée avec tuba et plongez dans certaines des eaux les plus immaculées du monde, toutes bien accessibles à pied depuis la maison. Souvent, il est possible de nager avec les nombreux dauphins fileurs, dans la baie.

Cette maison a deux niveaux. L'unité supérieure est une location de vacances. En bas a un couple calme.

A great spot to stay away from the busyness of town. Manini beach is beautiful spot and an easy walk with fantastic snorkeling. I loved getting fresh fruit from Kay's fruit stand out front. Kay lives next door and is an excellent host. She made sure we had a great stay.

Our host Kay was very welcoming and stocked our refrigerator with good food. We loved the peace and quite and being close to our favorite beaches. We will go back to stay at Kay’s house again.

Can't beat the location and value. Kay was such a sweet and thoughtful host,... fruit from her trees, cookies from her kitchen,... she even had a battery charger when our car battery died. We would happily stay here again.

Easy to check in and check out. Quick responses. Kay was very kind to make our stay as easy, pleasant, and welcomed as possible. We run into zero issues. Location was great for our trip too, as it's close to the local parks where we saw people snorkeling with Dolphins one morning, which was definitely a blast. We were just a little late in that morning when we got in the water.

Great location

Relaxing, peaceful stay. Kay's place is easy short walk to Manini Beach for snorkeling and water activities. It's a great place for investigating things along the Kona coast. Host was very responsive, helpful, and answered all of our questions.

Great location if you’re interested in the Captain Cook area. Simple, clean, non-resort like property. Host was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Property was perfect for my purposes.

Everything you want

The house was stocked with food, filtered water, chocklate, juice, lotions, sunscreen, anything you might need. Kai fixed anything wrong immediately and gave us fruit daily. The location is the best for attractions & snorkeling. The house is very dpacious. The only thing wrong is that Kay's place made the next place i went to very disappointing because i was used to such a great host, space, and check in.

Our stay was great!

We really enjoyed staying at Kei's property. The space and grounds were exactly as depicted. It was spacious, clean and suited us and our stay perfectly. Enjoyed the location, very close to Mainini Beach and the Place of Refuge. Kei was very kind and helpful even when we accidentally locked outselves out, twice. Felt like we were staying with friends.

Awesome location and great host

Kay was so kind and shared fresh fruit from her fruit stand. We loved the short walk to the beach. It was so close and we walked there to snorkel and watch the sunset. We were just down the road from Two Step beach. The unit is dated but very clean. It was a great base for our vacation

Amazing location!

We thoroughly loved staying here! The location is amazing- close to the water, and lots of things to do. The kitchen is well equiped and the space is comfortable with two full bedrooms. Kay is a gracious host - she shared fruits from the property and let us pick some too. She runs a fruit and baked goods stand next door. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming condo, with all the necessities. The neighbors downstairs are very nice, as is the landlady next door. Not far from the ocean. Quiet location, with birdsong and the smell of flowers in the morning. We really enjoyed it.

Relaxing stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kay's comfortable and spacious apartment. We love Kealakekua Bay and all that it offers and Kay's apartment was well suited to our experience. Kay was very responsive to any of our needs and her Hawaiian hospitality was very much appreciated. Maholo Kay!

Steps from the beach

Budget travelers will appreciate this well-equipped place in beautiful Napoop’o on Kealakekua Bay. Two of us did multi-hour dives from the beach, which a mere five-minute walk away. On top of that, Kay is a such a gracious host.

Best Location!

The location of this rental couldn't be better! It is steps from the bay and from kayak rentals to head out to the monument. Two-step and the place of refuge are just a couple miles down the road. The house itself is spacious and clean with a thoughtfully stocked kitchen. Air conditioning in one bedroom. The host was kind and courteous, helping us settle in despite the late hour of our arrival and the downstairs neighbor was such a delight to chat with and meet her cats. Highly recommend! We hope to be back.

I am also an avid gardener and have planted fruit trees and plumeria flowers in the Lava fields so people can help themselves with by making leis for friends. It is truly a Hawaiian Aloha Spirit and generosity you will find at my place.
