I’m going too sound like a commercial for the location. It could not have been more comfortable, convenient or cozy. Location was great, loved the feel of the apartment. Pam was great to work with, we will stay here again.

This apartment was lovely. In a great location for easy walking to shops and restaurants in Hallowell and an easy drive to several nearby towns. We enjoyed close access to walking paths beside the river. The host was very responsive when we had a couple of questions. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, water bottles, coffee, creamer, sweeteners, snacks and even a bottle of wine on the frig. Only consideration for booking would be if stairs are a problem. The stairs from the front door to the unit are a bit steep, but these 60 year olds didn’t have any trouble . Very nice place!!

Very nice apartment and very, very clean. Everything about this rental was above average except for the online description. It should have mentioned that this apartment is on the second floor. That being said, we will look forward to renting this unit again on our next trip to Maine.

It was clean and comfortable. My husband never used a keyless lock and I was still at work when he checked in, He called me to say he didn't know how to get it unlocked and I called the renter. She was so kind and went over to check on my husband to make sure he got into the house. Thank you. We hope to come back again.

Great location. The deck out back allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a huge help. It was clean and had plenty of room for the two of us. We would stay here again.

The apartment was great. Hallowell is a wonderful place to visit. The only issue that occurred during our stay was that after a day in the apartment we found out that the local public water supply had high levels of PFAS. The unit doesn't have the correct water filters to minimize ingestion. I recommend bringing in bottled water for drinking, cooking and teeth brushing until the levels return to normal and safe for consumption.

Thank you for your response. We do provide bottled water for our guests. We are installing a whole house water filtration system specifically designed to filter PFA’s.

We have been coming to Maine for over 13 years now but this was our first visit to this property and it was very nice - very relaxing; had enough small sundries and basic starters in the fridge until you could get to the grocery store. There were a few things missing that were pictured online, such as a coffee table and an ottoman in the living room. The bedroom was also missing a chair and ottoman. It was nice to be able to do laundry on-site. We tend to stay up a little bit later and I always felt like I was bothering people downstairs whenever I walked across the bedroom floor, it was a little creaky. Would definitely recommend a "watch your head" sign for the interior steps that go down to the street entrance. My husband is on the taller side and hit his head. Would also suggest painting a yellow stripe around the step from the deck to the back door so you don't ram your toes into the side. The location is wonderful, it was so quiet yet so close to Hallowell and the waterfront. Overall, great location and property to decompress and just be. Typically when we visit Maine, we explore different places but this year we stayed local the entire trip. We very much look forward to coming back to HighEnd next year!

The place is so very clean and very well furnished. The location is perfect. Quick walk to the stores and restaurants. It has everything you need to cook there. The host gets right back to you if there is anything you need or have any questions. So comfortable the furniture and the bed was great for a good night sleep. It’s very quiet. We loved it and will be back again for sure.

We loved our stay in Hallowell! Convenient location, away from the main drag. Easy to go visit family and friends in other towns. Spacious enough to have our friends come over after dinner out to continue fellowship.

Very nice upstairs apartment. The bed was comfy, laundry was nice, loved the fireplace.Hallowell is a sweet little town with a lot of history. Loved the little seating area right along the river. Burano's Wood-fired Pizzaria had the best pizzas ever.Would definitely like to come back.
