Appartement récemment rénové. Situé à distance de marche des musées, du parc Herman, des bars et des restaurants. L'emplacement est très calme et tranquille, à quelques pâtés de maisons du quartier animé d'Almeda st. Tous les appartements sont disponibles pour les clients. 2 chambres spacieuses avec lits queen, canapé-lit confortable dans le salon. Cuisine spacieuse et complète.
Nous fournissons tout, des draps aux serviettes en passant par le shampoing et le savon, le café et les céréales pour un petit déjeuner rapide. Rénovation effectuée en essayant de garder la saveur des vieilles maisons. Parking hors rue disponible. Épicerie (Fiesta et Walgreen) à proximité.

This lovely apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to museums, parks, and restaurants. We felt at home, the house was clean and household items were readily available to use as needed. There is also easy access and off-street parking. We enjoyed a great visit to Houston and this apartment was a large part of our enjoyment.

Easy Walk to the Museums

Great little apartment. Easy walk to museums and restaurants nearby. Short drive to Daikin Park. Recommend bringing bicycles to allow greater exploration

A new look at Houston’s museum district

Super fun short stay in the Museum district at a great location with awesome amenities. Balen to easily get around a great area of Houston and kept cool even in the heat. The property was awesome. Spacious, clean, amazing support from our host (from granola bars to oatmeal to coffee to appliances, kitchen resources and more). And pet-friendly.

Comfortable stay

The house is older, but clean and comfortable! Some noise from upstairs guests. Everything worked fine and we would recommend it as a great value for the money!

Comfy and clean

The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. The location was good and walkable for my purposes in the museum district. Quiet area. Lots of good food nearby, including vegan options. No grocery store in walking distance (I didn't have a car) but Walgreens served my modest needs for milk for coffee. I think the other tenant kept bolting the front door, but there was another entrance. A bolted front door would have made checking in difficult - luckily it wasn't bolted the first night.

Pretty Good

Neighborhood is okay, I wouldn't call it nice, but not bad. The place itself is very nice. Spacious. There were 3 A/C window units for, at the time we visited, heating. One worked great, one ok, and one not well. The up down arrows would not respond and the remote wouldn't work. I messed with it for 20 minutes and got it working. Buttons are worn and not responsive. A/C units are kinda loud. upstairs people (another rental) woke my wife up each night at 3am. Toilet seat was broken. I was going to go 3 starts, but the manager actually called me about it, so props for that. Outlet by toaster wasn't working (GFCI with no reset button that I could find). I'm not a big fan of corporate run units. This is one. If you drive a low rider ( I drive a camry with a hitch cargo rack), you will scrape on the driveway getting in. Add some quickcrete guys. Overall good value, but left some to be desired.

Outstanding value, great place to stay

We had three people staying here: myself, my husband, and our 13 year old son. The check in process was easy and everything was where the host said it would be. Rental was very clean and well kept with lots of amenities. We were thrilled to have off-street parking available for our rental car! Outstanding location with museums, the zoo, and great food within walking distance, but neighborhood was still peaceful. Easy 5/5 stars, this was a great experience and I’d enthusiastically recommend this rental to any small family!

On of the things that made this property very special for us were the carports in backyard where we could park our truck out of the rain. When we saw that Max had reconfigure the back yard and removed the carports we were very disappointed.

Our host responded quickly and was very good in responding to our messages. The place was well stocked. When an item was missing, it was replaced immediately. The place was perfect for us.

Great Location, Great Host

We stayed in this lovely apartment for two and a half months, because my son had a bone marrow transplant at MD Anderson. The location is wonderful - it's very close to the hospital and convenient to shopping. I love that Hermann Park is in walking distance, as well as all of the wonderful museums. Max is an excellent host - very responsive, and he provided us with everything we needed. We'll need to come back to Houston for some follow-up visits, and we'll definitely stay here again.

Our stay

The neighborhood was very quiet. The landlord/manager checked in to see if everything was good and brought us supplies that we needed. The B&B was very clean and we loved the ability to lock the backyard and put the cars under a carport.

Close to museum district

The place was clean. Max provided towels, bed sheets, etc.. it was like coming home. HEB is around the corner. Restaurants within walking distance. Museum district was 20 something minutes walking. If we had known traffic was going to be intense in the park area in the morning, we would have walked and gotten inside the zoo a whole lot faster. Definitely a great location to rent and felt like I was at my home. Thank you Max for your hospitality!

My name is Massimo, but you can call me Max (yes, it works also in Italian). I was born and raised in Italy and at a certain point I have decided to put down roots in the “Land of the Free”. In particular, I am fascinated by Houston because of its multiculturalism, diversity, creativity and because I see this city as a constant gate: to South America, to the Far West, to the Outer Space, ....

I started using AirBnB out of curiosity and, eventually, I found out that I am driven by a genuine sense of hospitality. I find it natural to take care of my guests and their needs. I enjoy making your stay as pleasant as possible. I like checking in regularly in case you need anything and I feel responsible for you to be completely satisfied with your experience.

I love exchanging point of views and information but at the same time I’m considerate of your privacy so I set up my listings in a way that my guests are totally independent from check-in to check-out.

I appreciate receiving recommendations on how to improve and make unique the AirBnB experience, for the current and the future guests. I feel like your feedback can make these homes unique, comfortable and warm.

All my listings are gay friendly and open to love of all kinds. Also, they are open to guests of any religion, belief and origin.

Last but not least, I am a rugby fanatic and we are always looking for people interested to play a bit ‘touch” on Sunday afternoon.
