Beachfront property, Playa Carmen, consistent surf right in front of the property with a sandy beach. Centrally located property, easy walk to good restaurants, supermarket, bank and board shops. A unique quality concrete two story building with an amazing beach right in front, a good surf spot, great ocean and sunset views from the extensive patios and balconies. The 5 bedroom villa sits on a 2.4 acre private beach front property, two small casitas are also available on this property. Property features a large 50 x 15 foot quality swimming pool and a beachfront yoga and shade rancho. The villa has five bedrooms each with its own central AC unit and ceiling fan, 4 bathrooms with hot water showers. Full kitchen, dining room, living room, hammocks, balconies, patios and roof deck. Private beach entrance. Lots of private parking, extensive gardens, fruit tress, wildlife, howler monkeys. You can watch the surf all day and when it looks good, you are in the water in 60 seconds, multiple sessions. In high season, the sand beach right in front is gradually sloped. Easy walk to many restaurants, shopping and supermarket.

Casa Azul - great surf right out front

It was our Second time back at Casa Azul. Owner and staff were super friendly, responsive. Location location location. Variety of surf breaks for all levels right out front… countless shops and restaurants within walking distance. Can’t wait to come back!!

It’s all about the beach

This property had an amazing view! My favorite part of the day was early morning, sitting on the porch with my coffee, watching the beach and waves become visible as the sun came up. My grandkids loved the pool, especially the iguanas that came to visit them as they swam. There were 8 of us, and there was lots of room to be together, or spread out.

Gorgeous property on a stunning beach

Extended family of 11 stayed here over the winter holidays. Loved the property and close proximity to the beach, beautiful pool, lots of trees and even periodic monkeys! Santa Teresa town can feel crowded with 4x4s and people along the narrow road, but this was a lovely, peaceful oasis. Beach is great for surfing, boogie-boarding. Short drive to some great hikes although rough road throughout the peninsula is to be expected. Owner is readily-available for questions/help, and very communicative.It was a perfect way to end our Costa Rican vacation!

Absolutely wonderful

Our stay at Casa Azul was just amazing. From the property itself, the house, the owner and the location we couldn't have found better. It was a lot of us, and this house was great for groups up to 12 people which is hard to find. We loved to location and were impress with how quiet the property is. After coming to Costa Rica since 1997, this was our first time here without mosquitos. The house is very safe, great and easy way to lock everything and there are safes in the rooms. The pool is big and the views are incredible. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay there. Stop looking... this is the spot!

I have been living in Santa Teresa since year 2000. I literally drove to Costa Rica from Wisconsin, bought this beachfront property, and developed the property over the next 20 years. Santa Teresa has been booming in popularity as travelers, surfers and beach enthusiasts have discovered Santa Teresa.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Beachfront on a very nice sandy beach, called Playa Carmen, with good consistent surf in front, especially during the high season, November to May. Large private property, 9700 square meters or 2.4 acres. The property is only 100 meters from the crossroads of Mal Pais and St. Teresa, so we figured the location would be great as the town developed. We are now an easy walk to many good restaurants, board shops, bank, and supermarkets. This is a large property which has only been 20% developed. If you like to surf and you like to spend time on the beach, no need to load up your car with your boards, you can surf right in front of the property.

The majority of our clients are surfers or beach people, from our 5 bedroom villa and from the poolside or beachfront yoga/shade rancho, you are able to watch the surf conditions, evaluate and get in multiple good sessions each day. We have a real swimming pool, 15 meters by 6 meters, not a simple bath pool, a real swimming pool. A quality two story concrete built building, this is rare in Santa Teresa, affords excellent views to ocean, surf, beach, pool and gardens.
