Peaceful cabin on Rough River Lake. Relax on the large deck with a cold drink. BBQ and entertain your guests while enjoying the beautiful wildlife and scenery. Enjoy yard games with family and friends on the large grassy area and chatting by the fire with your favorite drink while roasting brats or marshmallows. Take your beach chairs and stroll down the gentle path to the beach area with your partner and family for a swim in the lake or fishing from the doc. Bring your lake toys as this cabin is on the lake with a simple path to carry your toys so you can enjoy all Rough River Lake has to offer. The marina is only 6 minutes away for boats and docks to rent. The kitchen is completely stocked for entertaining your family and friends and the cabin is comfortable with two levels which allows for privacy when a little rest is needed. There are several restaurants
and a pizza parlor just minutes away.

Peaceful getaway

The cabin was very clean, had everything we needed. It was very relaxing. The only downfall was the water was up so we didn't get to fish. But will definitely be going back so we can. Will recommend this cabin to family and friends.

Home away from home

We have family in the area and love staying in this cabin. Always clean. Hosts are very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful landscape with close access to water activities. Stores close by for supplies. We love it here. LOVE the porch looking out!! We will be back!!

Old Dudes Weekend Fishing Trip

Weekend fishing trip for 5 dads. Overall we had a great time. The (log) cabin was nice. Check-in was easy. Clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Used the large grill on the back deck and worked well, also very clean. The communication with owners lagged a bit once we were at the property. The cabin was short on bath towels. Luckily we brought a few of our own. Not a big deal for the dads but would have been if the wives had joined us! Also, one of the bedrooms on the first floor had bunks and could only sleep one man per bed. The description lists that bedroom as sleeping 3. The common area bed is a small nook space under the stairs...perfect for kids, but not for a grown man. Met a neighbor who was helpful in explaining the dock situation and also offered some advice on where to fish. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cabin is in a quiet area and the surrounding landscape was very nice.

Location is perfect. This real log home is in a beautful setting with a gentle walk down to the water and dock. Large yard for outdoor games and a fire pit for bonding with friends and family while roasting hot dogs and s'mores.
