Rough River Lake House idéalement situé près de la marina d'Axtel et du quai des bateaux Nicks

La maison a quatre chambres, trois salles de bain complètes et une demi-salle de bain. Il peut accueillir 12 personnes, avec une literie disponible pour 5 personnes supplémentaires sur demande, il est donc parfait pour cette grande famille ou ce groupe de familles. Il a un plan d'étage ouvert avec une cuisine et une salle à manger entièrement fonctionnelles, pouvant accueillir de 10 à 12 personnes à la fois. Le sous-sol a encore un espace bar qui n'est pas fini, mais il y a une grande salle de jeux pour se divertir le soir ou les jours de pluie! Le lot a une façade sur l'eau avec un quai à trois doigts disponible pour la baignade. Malheureusement, nous sommes à la merci de mère nature et du corps des ingénieurs en termes de niveau d'eau du lac, il y a donc des moments où la rampe d'accès au quai n'est pas facilement accessible (nécessite un court trajet en ferry en utilisant un jon boat fourni) après une quantité anormale de précipitations. Nick’s Boat Dock loue des pontons, ce qui est une option pour ceux sans bateau, ou vous pouvez vous diriger moins d'un mile sur la route de la plage du camping Axtel pour profiter de quelques jours de baignade.

Divulgation complète: Il y a des caméras de sécurité situées sur le périmètre de la maison pour surveiller la propriété, car cette propriété est dans une zone relativement rurale. Ces caméras ne sont examinées qu'en cas de problème avec la propriété ou un groupe spécifique.

La maison a été construite avec notre famille et nos enfants à l'esprit, donc je suis sûr qu'elle sera parfaite pour votre famille et vos amis. Il y a encore quelques petites touches de finition cosmétiques à faire à l'intérieur, mais aucune de ces pièces inachevées ne devrait affecter votre séjour de quelque manière que ce soit, forme ou forme.

Michelle, I'm sorry that you had a poor experience during your stay. I recently switched to a new cleaning person, so I'm still working out the kinks. When you say the house was not clean, can you clarify for me to make sure my cleaning lady adds this to her checklist? Also, I know you mentioned the grill, but what other amenities didn't meet your expectations? Thanks for the feedback..I'll be sure and address the concerns.

Check-in was super simple. Location was great for our purpose. It was picturesque even if you didn’t want to climb the steps to/from the water. Enjoyed the firepit and double decks in crisp fall weather. Unforeseen difficulties occurred immediately after occupying the property. Host was very responsive and went above and beyond to remedy the situation which was no fault of his or ours.

There were a couple of issues - grill was far from being clean - called the owner to advise him as it had gotten extremely hot. The ice maker did not work - the owner reimbursed us for the ice that we bought while there. Would recommend this property.

This was a wonderful Fall Trip for 11 ladies

We totally enjoyed this house. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and the view of the lake was spectacular. We would definitely would come back again.

Beautiful Lake House

The house is beautiful and the water view is absolutely breath taking. The game room and kid’s play room was an added bonus and enjoyed by all. The host (Brandon) was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend this property and we hope to return in the future!

Great Location To Marina

This is a wonderful large home with a view of the lake and super location to Nick’s Marina. Kitchen is very well supplied. Home was neat and pretty clean for a rental. Could use a deep cleaning. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Perfect setup for inside the house with the rooms,beds, etc that we needed. But Couches old,saggy,uncomfortable and need to be replaced. Outside property and steps to the dock are poorly maintained. Steep driveway. We parked on top. Overall though, it was enjoyable 3 night stay

Very nice home

We had a very good time at this property on the lake. Very comfortable beds lots of room. Location was just a little bit hard for one of our handicap people. Property is located at the bottom of a very steep Hill. We couldn't get the TV downstairs to come on and see anything. Overall it was a good stay.

Staff Retreat

The house was just what we needed for our staff retreat. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of kitchen wares. We thought we were going to run out of toilet paper but we squeaked by! Amazing reunion gathering!

We had a group of 11 friends and family scattered across the country who were seeking a somewhat centralized location to gather and enjoy some low key time together. This property fit the bill perfectly! From the earliest planning stages (a full year beforehand) to while we were actually onsite, Brandon was in regular communication with us to address any and all concerns or questions that we had (and things did get complicated with date and guest count changes). So absolutely first rate in that regard. The property itself is beautiful and extremely functional- it should meet the needs of any group ranging in size from 6 to 12 people (more if you don't mind using pull out sofa-beds, etc.). Slight ding on the cleanliness at check-in due to some things the cleaning service had missed, but I am confident these were an isolated occurrence. Overall, a wonderful VRBO experience!

My wife, three kids and I live in Sellersburg, Indiana year round, and I grew up on Rough River Lake. Some of my earliest memories are of me spending the weekends with family and friends out on the water! My hope is that with this lake house, you too can make memories like the ones I had growing up.

I bought this lot in 2009 with the intent of building upon it due to the incredible view and central location on the lake. It wasn't until the Spring of 2015 that my wife and I decided to build our dream lake house so that it could be shared with others.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The location and view of the lake was the single most important thing that drew us to this location. We built this house so that our two kids and family and friends could be together in one open space. I doubt you will find another house like this one on the lake that was built with you, the renter in mind. Every room in the house has a view of the water, and the large two story deck on the back is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the water!
