La maison principale a un plan d'étage ouvert spacieux, planchers de bois franc, ins encastré, air central. Cuisine gastronomique avec gamme Wolf qui s'ouvre sur une grande pièce avec une table de ferme et des plafonds voûtés. Suite parentale avec dressing et douche à vapeur. Lovely home. Short walk to the beach and towels, bicycles,beach chairs, beach locker so chairs can be left at the beach and not carried back and forth daily. Also beach toys were available for children as well as boogie boards. Owners are warm and helpful.

Perfect in every way

Our family loved our stay in this beautiful craftsman located in a residential area a couple of blocks to the beach. Elka, the host, was very helpful and had everything in perfect condition. We loved the space for our family. The kids slept upstairs and our smallest grandchild said it was the coziest bed ever! The long dining table was perfect for our whole family and we really appreciated that there were staples such as salt and pepper, olive oil and shampoo. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Perfection!

Our stay in Bradley Beach with our 3 adult children and their partners was amazing! The location being mere blocks from the beach, the quiet town atmosphere (October was a perfect time to go!), the beauty of the home along with a kitchen that was a cook’s delight to work in and stocked with an abundance of various glasses as well as plates and kitchen utensils, coffee makers and frothers of all sorts to choose from, plenty of towels, an outdoor shower and grill and patio area, and a quaint front porch to relax on with a glass of wine. Can’t say enough about the home! And Elke was excellent with her communications before, during, and after our stay. We were all just so happy there! Oh, and the place was spotless! Would love to come back sometime!

Enjoyed this beautiful home with another couple. Spent most of our leisure time hanging out on the front porch and back area. Elke provided plenty of towels, shampoo, soap, etc to make traveling easier. So easy to deal with.

Immaculate comfortable beach home

We stayed for the weekend. The home was very clean, roomy, comfortable, and well decorated and cared for. The owner was accessible, responsive, and helpful. Even had bikes and bike locks to use. Would definitely stay again if our travels lead us to Bradley Beach.

Awesome Weekend with Family

My daughter is getting married in June and we decided to have a small family “ bachelorette” party before the wedding. The home is beautiful and well maintained. Elke was extremely accommodating and responsive. Highly recommend!

Recommended for families and quiet groups

This Bradley Beach property is, in itself, lovely for a weekend at the Jersey Shore – but I would only recommend it for families. The house is spacious, very clean, and decorated nicely. Elke, the property manager, also stocked it with beach and shower towels, cooking utensils, beach chairs and more supplies and amenities, which made it significantly easier when planning what we needed to bring. We were a group of 8 mid-20s college friends coming from New York and Boston to spend the weekend together at the shore. About three weeks before our trip, Elke called me to let me know that she had recently had a bad renting experience in which her house was damaged by guests. I assured her we would not do the same, but throughout our stay, Elke stayed in the guest house behind the property we rented and used the backyard space between the two houses. While I understand Elke had recently had a bad experience with renters, our group was very well behaved and caused no damage to the house, so this lack of privacy seemed unnecessary. That being said, Elke was available to answer questions and help us if needed throughout our stay, which was kind and helpful. If you’re in your 20s and planning on having an experience partying down the shore, this is not the house for you, but I would recommend it for families or people seeking a low-key experience.

Victoria is right. They were EXTREMELY well behaved and just the kind of respectful people that anyone would want to rent to. I am having a custom divider built to separate the two outdoor dining & grilling spaces that are already far apart from one another in the backyard. But this way, when anyone is using either table, there should be plenty of privacy for each.

Beautiful house, great location

Our family had a wonderful time! The house was perfect and just a few short blocks from the beach! The owners supplied linens, towels and soap which was helpful. The house is perfect for a family with a great upstairs room for the kids. The outdoor shower was our favorite part. Can’t wait to go back!

Home away from home!

I will start off by saying that this house is beautiful, and so well taken care of! But what really made our stay here incredible was the owner, Elke, she thought of everything! All of the little details that one might forget when going away. There were three couples that stayed here and it was so comfortable. The great room is absolutely fantatsic and the front porch is the perfect place to have your morning coffee. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks from the beach. We loved everything about our stay here and would love to come back again!

Beautiful Cottage in Bradley

Our stay at Elke's property was perfect. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, paper goods, and towels. The house was kept very clean and was in great shape. Elke was very friendly and responsive the weeks leading up to our stay and was readily available during the weekend. All in all, we loved the house and our host and hope to stay there again next summer!

Family Friendly Home Where Memories are Made

Elke was a most gracious host in her beautiful Bradley Beach, NJ shore home! The house had everything we needed for our party of 8! The house itself was very functional, the outdoor patio and grill were perfect for summer nights of grilling and laughter. She equipped the house with every detail - beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach badges, bicycles, shampoo, conditioner, condiments, magazines and more! She left no detail unattended. Best Vacation Ever!

Elke's home is perfect for a beach vacation in the charming town of Bradley Beach NJ. Situated halfway between the beach and Main Street, it has the best of both worlds. The beach is perfect for families, very clean with a few snack stands and mini golf. Main Street offers a variety of restaurants and shops. Both are within easy walking distance. Elke is the perfect host! She is extremely responsive. The house is SO charming, comfortable and stocked with everything one would need. It was perfect for our family of four and occasional guests. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch, using the outdoor grill and shower, as well as preparing meals in the beautiful upgraded kitchen/great room! We look forward to visiting next Summer and for many years to come. THANKS ELKE!!!

Newly renovated and very comfortable!

We had a great stay at this house! The owner ( Elke ) was sooo helpful and accommodating. The house is just a few blocks from the beach so an easy walk. Hardwood floors, new appliances and an amazing open kitchen/den area was very relaxing and made for great family dinners. There's also a great porch in front (furnished) to relax and have a late afternoon snack/drink. We'll definitely be going back!

Perfect beach house for family vacation

Our family of six had the perfect beach vacation at 408 on Fourth. Everyone had their own space yet there was plenty of room to gather comfortably in the great room for meals, games, movies and conversation. The front porch was great for morning coffee or before dinner drinks. There was always an ocean breeze. The house was spotless and very well stocked with everything you will need. It was an easy walk up to the beach and we didn't need the car all week. We could walk everywhere! We enjoyed mini golf, the farmers market and dining at the Avon Pavillion - all with ocean front views. Elke was super easy to work with and we look forward to our next visit to 408 on Fourth.

A perfect home away from home in a perfect setting!

This Bradley Beach property isn't a property at all. It is a home away from home! Like many other travelers who have stayed in properties that were just that, properties, there was something very special about this one. The setting, the location and proximity to the beach and ocean, the walkable restaurants and shops, even the neighbors made this property feel like a home. This home had a soul and while I am not an especially spiritual person, just being in the home was comforting. On a practical basis, the owners were incredibly responsive, flexible and stunningly professional. The home is well equipped and well appointed with mostly new amenities in a 100 year old package. The AC works incredibly well and does its job and then some. Our favorite place to sit was the front porch. Stoop sitting and watching the people and cars go by is what I believe it is called. Coming from CA, we don't have stoops. We have fences and I can't tell you how many passersby said hello with some sharing beach and ocean conditions with us. The front porch was our "go to" place for our evening chardonnay. If you are wanting a home away from home in a perfect setting with very responsive owners, this is your next vacation home. My family will be back next summer...until then.

Perfect!

The place was clean and well-appointed. It's a short walk to the beach and you can feel the ocean breeze from the front porch. The house is fully stocked to meet all of your needs and it was a relaxing and comfortable stay over all. We hope to go back again!

Nicely appointed, spacious and conveniently located.

Spent a Friday and Saturday night at Elke’s property for a guys weekend. The house was perfect for our group get together. It is close to the beach and the downtown. It is also a short walk to Avon-by the Sea. The interior of the house is immaculate and newly redone. The front porch is excellent for relaxing and enjoying the beach air. There is also a backyard with seating and a nice grill. Elke was a great host, very responsive and provided valuable insight on places to dine. I recommend the Buttered Biscuit in the small downtown of Bradley Beach. Overall an excellent stay!

We loved our stay at 408 on 4th in Bradley Beach.

We loved our stay at 408 on 4th in Bradley Beach. We rented the main house as well as the back house. This worked out perfectly for our family. We had 3 couples and 2 kids. My wife and I stayed in the master in the main house. The master has a big walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi tub and massive shower that can also be a steam shower. Everything we needed was there as if you were in a nice hotel. The kids stayed upstairs where there are 3 beds. It is a really cool space for the kids with the sloped ceilings that follow the roofline. The 2 couples stayed in the back house which has its own family room and kitchen, so the couples were able to have their own space. The main house kitchen is a real gourmet kitchen with everything you would need. There is even a butler's pantry where the owner had charging cords for the phone. The family room in the main house was great for a gathering spot. It had a big tv and dining table as well as a sectional. The location was great. A couple blocks the one way to the beach and a couple blocks the other way to some restaurants as well as a grocery store for whatever you needed. My kids want to go back already. We would definitely rent here again.
