Toledo Bend Log Cabin - flambant neuf, Lakefront - regarder les couchers de soleil à travers 3 miles

Profitez de votre prochain voyage à Toledo Bend dans cette superbe cabane en rondins construite en 2018. La cabine Toledo Bend est une cabine au bord du lac de 1 911 pieds carrés située sur Skyline Drive, juste à côté de Little Flock Road. Cette cabane est immédiatement au sud de Big Bass Marina et à environ 20 minutes (10 minutes en bateau) au sud de Cypress Bend Resort. Si vous connaissez le lac Toledo Bend, nous sommes situés dans la partie Harper's Bend du lac. Nous avons une immense terrasse de divertissement avec un grill et des meubles d'extérieur afin que vous puissiez passer du temps avec vos amis et votre famille et regarder de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Juste en bas de la route est un lancement de bateau communautaire gratuit. Vous pouvez amarrer votre bateau à notre digue et accéder à la propriété depuis le lac. Après 1 an en affaires, cette cabine est très revue et devient rapidement un favori parmi ceux qui aiment passer du temps à Toledo Bend!

Pourquoi devriez-vous louer notre cabine?

1.) Les couchers de soleil sont presque incroyables. De la terrasse face au lac, vous aurez une vue dégagée sur 3 miles du coucher du soleil.

2.) Il est situé au bord du lac en eau profonde. Peu importe le niveau du lac, vous n'avez pas à vous soucier de ne pas avoir d'eau. Le corps principal du lac est juste en face de cette cabane.

3.) Il y a un lancement de bateau communautaire gratuit à environ 1/2 mile de la cabine. Lancez votre bateau sans frais!

4.) Je ne suis pas une société de gestion. Je suis le propriétaire privé de cette cabine, et c'est la seule cabine que j'ai sur Toledo Bend. Je ne suis pas mince en essayant de gérer plusieurs endroits sur Tolède. Vous aurez mon numéro de téléphone personnel et pourrez me contacter à tout moment pendant, avant ou après votre séjour.

The cabin is great!!! The views of the lake are even better. The boat lift at the boat house was definitely a plus. I could lift my tritoon out of the water and not have to worry about storms creating waves and beating it up. Very relaxing place and the host was very accommodating. I'll be booking with him again in the future.

We had a great time at this cabin. The views were absolutely amazing. Matthew, the host, was great with communication. There was even toys upstairs for my 3 year old to play with which was an added bonus! We had an amazing and relaxing weekend. The covered pier with railings around it was so convenient and gave me peace of mind with my son. We will be visiting again!

Nice cabin on the lake

Very nice cabin on the lake but very hard for us to get up and down steep hill (no steps or stairs) to and from dock, which was also very nice. Other than the forced cardio we had to do we had a great time.

The cabin is on a hill as can be seen in the pictures, which is where the dramatic view comes from. Installing stairs or steps will do nothing but cause erosion. Stairs or steps will not shorten or make easier walking up the hill. My neighbor next door has stairs up to his cabin. I assure you that the level of tiredness is exactly the same with the only difference being that there is a large staircase in the of the lawn.

The hill certainly gives you a cardio workout! Keep in mind though that because this Toledo Bend Cabin is perched on a hill is also what gives those dramatic lakefront views.

Loved the cabin!

I've stayed at several other places on Toledo Bend and none compare. I've had a hard time finding a true cabin on TB, so was happy to have found this one. The interior is very spacious and clean. My family had plenty of room with 3 King sized beds in very spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill as well. We thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon on the jet skis right out front of the cabin and taking in the evening sunset off the large porch that overlooks an incredible Toledo Bend vista. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful place

The overall experience was great. However, there was not any shampoo, soap or lotion as stated in the description. The deck was a great size but could not be enjoyed in the afternoon because there was no shade. The picture shows an umbrella, but had none. The bedrooms upstairs and the west windows downstairs could use window coverings.

We provide a starter supply of shampoo and soap, but not enough for a large party for the duration of your stay. If you have a large party you'll need to bring some soap and shampoo with you. The umbrella was not present at this guest's reservation because It was under repair. The umbrella has been replaced to be enjoyed on the deck. The windows facing the West will never have window coverings because they give the view of the lake. The view of the lake is the whole reason we build the cabin. I don't know why you'd want to cover that up.

Take your trash with you

Beautiful home on the lake. The only thing I have to say is make sure you take all your trash with you if you want your deposit back. I left trash beside the trash can and lost my $250 deposit. I can understand taking some of the deposit but the entire deposit behind some bags of trash seems I little extreme to me.

There is no trash service to pick up trash in Sabine Parish. I know it's weird to have to take the trash with you, but this is something I also have to do when I stay at the cabin. All of the other properties around me have to require their trash be taken with the guest as well. I'm very transparent with all guests about the need for the trash to be taken with them upon departure. If the guest disagrees to take the trash with them at the time of reservation I refund all their money and we go our separate ways. What cannot happen however, is the night before checkout, the guest all of a sudden decides they no longer want to take the trash with them. I know it's weird to have to take the trash with you, but it's just something we all have to do at this property. If you want to stay at this property you're going to need to be prepared to spend 2 minutes throwing your trash into the back of your truck and bringing it with you.

Could have been much better!

Visually the place is nice, and in a good location. Before checking in I was asked if they could cut the grass, they didnt need to go inside or anything, which was fine with us. After settling in , one of my friends starts yelling and has to run outside because the “host” was cutting “grass” on the gravel road facing all 3 of our trucks, maybe 20 feet away 😤! We then all make way to the boat dock, I look up at the house, the host gets off the lawnmower and he’s walking in for a minute wich he said he didn’t need to do! We only brought food to grill and had to disect the Pit and rig it just to work. One of the main reasons we booked this place is for the green lights on the dock which didn’t even work! Also we left with 5 bags of trash, but we accidentally overlooked a trash can infront which the host took care of, for a fee of $300 and the worst attitude!! Ive stayed at many places, but this one is at the bottom of my list for sure!

The guest is writing a revenge review. Everything was perfectly fine with his away all the way until after he checked out. My cleaning crew arrived and had to collect trash he had left at the property, some of which was strewn through the lawn. º the mower was nowhere close enough to damage his truch which it why no damage happened. º I never walked into the house. My getting off the mower was me rolling up a water hose. º the grill works fine. I checked after reading the review above and nothing is wrong with it. The guest and his friends were a rowdy bunch who played their music as loud as they wanted, throwed their trash wherever, and didn't have a care in the world if it bothered other neighors and guests around them. This is a revenge review.

I wanted i quiet get a way for thanksgiving , and that’s exactly what we got ! We had the most peaceful time here . The weather kept us inside most of the time but the awesome cabin was big enough to play games and had games of their own. Thanks for the amazing time in your cabin !

We had a great time at the lake. The scenery was very nice and it was a great time to wine down with family and friends. Rooms were very big and cozy. Upon arrival we replaced thermostat batteries on lower level and was very cold until we got the heat going. The place seemed clean, but coffee pot was dirty, grill and oven also. The only bed somewhat comfy was the lower level bed. The 2 upper level beds were not so comfy and also pillows were hard. I recommend bringing your own. Not much storage space in kitchen for your food. We kept ours in our totes. Our clothes stayed in suitcase due to lack of storage in rooms. The seller was attentive to get back with messages and concerns. When arriving the lower vent near staircase was broke. We should of took pictures and my husband fixed it, but it kept breaking. When using the dish rack I seen it was leaking all over counter so I put it away and did not use it the rest of the stay. It was broken when we got there according to seller. I recommend taking pictures of things that does not look right because they will replace with out hesitation. They say the keep record of things.

The two items, the air vent and the dish drying rack, were without a doubt broken while this guest was staying at our property. This resulted in $83 being held out of their damage deposit. Unexpected things happen, and that is what the damage deposit is for. In an effort to try to keep my prices down for everybody, items that are broken during your stay will need to be repaired or replaced. We pride ourselves on keeping a clean place, and our #1 most frequent compliment is how clean our cabin is. We don't have a coffee pot (we have a Keurig) at the cabin so I'm confused as to how our non-existent coffee pot could have been dirty. Our grill is a gas powered unit that can easily be sterilized by preheating before cooking. Any grillmaster knows that prior to cooking on a gas grill you burn it out to make ash of anything on the rack. After the rack is ashy you use the wire brush to knock off the ash. Ask anyone who knows their way around a grill, and they will tell you that this is truth. By the way, we have an AOG propane grill with a think stainless steel rack. It's just about the best grill money can buy, and no grill does a better job at sealing your steaks than this grill. In the Kitchen I have a full size side-by-side refrigerator that is empty upon your arrival so you can fill it up until your heart is content. I also have about 15 linear feet of countertop and also an island in the kitchen. There is also a nice amount of cabinets. Look at the picture of my kitchen on my listing and decide for yourself. And lastly, the beds. Everybody likes a different bed, so we have different beds at the cabin. The two king size beds upstairs are firm, and the king size bed downstairs is soft. The guest expresses that she didn't like the firm beds, but liked the soft bed downstairs. As an example to draw contrast, I like firm beds. I like the two firm beds upstairs, and I am not so impressed with the soft bed downstairs. In short, I have different firmnesses of beds to try to suit everybody's taste.

Great place to relax and fish!

The cabin is very nice and cozy. We love the layout of the cabin. You can see beautiful sunset from the porch. The grill outside is a plus. If you are a fishing family like us, the boat lift is awesome! The night time fishing is really cool. You can see all kinds of fish. We mainly came to relax and fish when we want and boy we did. We caught 23 crappie in day and a half not far from the camp. Not bad considering it’s the hottest month. Will come back again!

We searched for four years for the perfect location on Toledo Bend lake. We wanted waterfront property with an unobstructed sunset view. The main problem we ran into over the four years is that most properties had deed restrictions or HOA rules that did not allow short term rentals. We cannot afford to buy an expensive property and not be allowed to share it with others. Finally after a very long search we found this property that had an old trailer on it. We bought the property, hauled the trailer away, and built this beautiful cabin. We are so happy to share this jewel with you.

This property has the best sunset views on Toledo Bend lake. Other properties may come close to meeting this view, but none are better. Another unique feature of our property is that bald eagles seem to like it. We see bald eagles almost every time we go there. Maybe you will see one when you go!
