The listing needs to clarify that both rentals are on the second floor. As 2 elderly women traveling together, stairs can be a real barrier. The grounds and house are beautiful. The house is secluded and very quiet and restful. Parking is convenient. The room was warm and a nice big space. The landlord could update the beds and pillows. The pillows were noticeably old and worn. The owners were kind and friendly. They made good recommendations for good restaurants and as usual Door County offered lots to do on a Fall weekday.

The room was very tidy and clean! The hosts met us at check in to ensure we could get inside and walk through the space together in case we had any questions. They also offered a tour of their home, which is beautiful. They were very friendly (and so was their dog!). The location was great as it was quiet and peaceful and still not too far from activities.

Perfect space for my husband, daughter and I to stay for a long weekend. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice bathroom and having a fridge in the room was nice. Mitch and Mary are wonderful hosts. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at the Quarry House. The owners were wonderful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the location centrally located to give us a great experience in Door County for the first time.
