Log Cabin On the Lake B&B

A perfect year round Lakefront getaway for couples with an amazing view. This is as close as you can get to a "Muskoka Cottage Experience" This is a 1 room log cabin with a porch to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and the view all day.
We provide a simple European breakfast on the 1st morning with croissants, yogurt, fruit and Coffee and Tea. Experience tiny home living in a custom built Log Cabin. Cooking facilities are here and fully equipped.
We are pet Friendly but do charge $30 per visit . We provide drinking bowls, and cover the chairs with nice covers and duvet that are all washed separately. We do charge $100 per day fine for guests not declaring a pet.
Landscaping provides privacy for all parties (owner next door)
There is a combination of the comfort of home and roughing it. The Spa Bathroom/Sauna is like having to visit an outhouse but warm when you get there. On your way there you may see some wildlife or a spectacular starry sky. Our parking allows for trailers; snowmobile or boat with 2 launches within 5 min. One into Morrison Lake the other into the Trent Severn . Access to Snowmobile trails, cross country skiing, ice fishing, water skiing swimming boating. Ready to escape our Log Cabin could be it. We had a nice 2 night visit…. Super pet friendly(for “good” dogs)… Very modest, cozy and comfortable! Hosts (neighbors, but private) were terrific although we didn’t chat much I know they were totally there if needed…! Everything you need is there from gas range, Wi-Fi, AC, Sauna to quality heat if you go up in the winter… space is tight, but comfortable! I’d definitely go back. Lake is beautiful and serene… (Bring water shoes if you wanna swim…) its slippery going in but there’s a dock and a raft you can use anytime and… at least at this time of year, the water was amazing…

Everything about this little log cabin stay was what we needed for a wonderful winter escape. Host was very accommodating, the cabin was comfortable and clean, and the views whether daytime or night time were spectacular! Would recommend this to everyone!

This cabin on the lake is a feature filled get away location, with nice decorations inside and out, and perfect scenic view at any time of the day. The photos do the location justice, and in real life it's even better! Real bathroom, toilet, shower and sink, with an excellent sauna to enjoy. The cabin itself had everything one would need, and comfortable bed. Dock and water access to paddle and swim around, and nice spot to casually fish from.

Long weekend escape!

This property ticked all our boxes and Steve was a great host. The cabin was well appointed and clean and at just about a 2-hour drive from Mississauga was easily accessible. I would highly recommend this property to those looking for a place to decompress / relax.

I am Canadian and my family settled in the Muskoka back in 1920
I recently moved here from the Toronto region.
I built the Log Cabin in my back yard in Oakville, and moved it here in 2006.
I lived in it when I retired and went to Western Canada in the Winters to teach skiing. I now run a small buisness repurposing Trees that people have to remove from thier property. I help people turn those trees into something useable for generations to come, saving the Tree from Landfill.
I now call this home after building a small house to live in.
I am now renting my Log Cabin as Bed & Breakfast.

I chose this neighbor hood as it was my cottage for the last 60 years. I replaced the old cottage with a New cottage that I can live in.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

My property has beautiful Southern Exposure overlooking the Morrison lake. We sit up on a true Muskoka Rock that encompasses 750’ of shoreline . All the property is easily walked.
The lake warms up very nicely for swimming all summer . There is a private dock for you to enjoy the waters edge.
The property is very private with no neighbours on one side and myself and my mom’s Cottage on the other side .
We do like furry pets and hope you bring yours. We charge $30 per visit to help offset the extra cleaning costs involved.
