Niché derrière une belle forêt indigène et à seulement 6 maisons de la plage, cette retraite moderne de 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain offre un attrait architectural et un intérieur entièrement restauré.

Des vacances dans le confort. La cuisine moderne et spacieuse, flanquée de deux salles à manger - une salle à manger entièrement ouverte et un coin repas avec fenêtre - donne directement sur un grand salon. Professionnellement décorée, cette maison offre une vision vibrante et haut de gamme du luxe à la plage, sans sauter sur le «facile» dans «la vie facile».

Au «Petit Bonheur», un espace lumineux en amène un autre et finalement la chambre principale au deuxième étage. Ici, la merveille architecturale de la maison prend le dessus et monte un escalier contemporain vers un salon de la tour avec vue sur le golfe et une terrasse panoramique à 360 degrés.

La cour arrière est privée, clôturée et mouchetée d'arbres. Un treillis, un sentier et une piscine offrent un paradis tropical zen. La piscine est une charmante aire de repos. We Loved It

We loved our time at Petit Bonheur. The house was close to everything in Blue Mountain. Pool was fenced in with a gate, so safe for the kids. Had an 18 month old and house was safe for him, and included baby gate and pack and play. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely home with great location

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. Great location to the Blue Mountain Creamery, 30a Yoga and Red Fish Tacos. We even enjoyed a walk to a fabulous dinner at Blue Mabel and to get coffee several mornings at blue Mountain bakery. You cannot beat this backyard and pool area. We spent most of our time there because of the double red flags at the beach. Great home and great layout.

Great location near beautiful beach

The house and location are amazing. The property managers had great communication as well. The only slightly disappointing aspects came from backyard area. The seats by pool were all dirty and disorganized when we arrived and the pool seems slightly smaller in real life than in pictures. But don’t get me wrong, I would stay there again in a heartbeat. 360 panoramic view on roof is awesome and suite on second floor is spectacular as well.

Petit Bonheure

Loved this house. The house itself is great, easy floorplan and plenty of room for 8 girlfriends. The best part is the landscaping however. It gives you an 'old Florida" feel and lots of privacy. We did have some noisy neighbors and some sound from the restaurant up the street (Red Fish Taco I think) but the tradeoff was the easy walkability to the beach and said restaurant along with Blue Mable and the ice cream stand. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Location and Amenities - More TLC Needed

We loved being so close to the beach access and the neighborhood is ideally located in between much busier locales. However, we were disappointed in the lack of attention to detail in the outdoor space surrounding the pool - after 2 hours of trimming and cleaning (by us!) of foliage it was finally ready for our guests. Also, the upholstery in all spaces needs to be cleaned - especially the sofas in the living room (the stains were very obvious and cheapened the ambience).

Relaxing stay, close to beach, secluded backyard with pool.

Had a great stay and would highly recommend. Had slight delay with code to open the house, but received immediate response from host. Very close to beach and a nice coffee house/ice cream place/bar (easy walking distance). Good experience with complimentary rental gear (you will be responsible for going over the limit or taxes). Read host’s listing for layout description, it worked well for our group, but ‘’master suites’ have shared bathrooms. Several beach items were available for use. There was a hot tub (locked), but might be available for extra fee (I should read the listing!! :-). Overall great stay. Would rent again.

Only one suggestion

I do have one suggestion. The actual gate to the pool area needs added security. The opening under the gate needs to be smaller as well as the top opening. We had a 2,3,4, year old that could have climbed over using the outside boards and under the gate. These are easy fixes- EVERYTHING ELSE was wonderful!!

We had something come up and were unable to come as early as we had planned so we didn’t get to check in until late that evening. And we were all exhausted when we got in that night. The house was even better in person than the pictures! But the house had some serious safety concerns especially considering the ages of our children and with my husband working as a commercial project manager he notices and pays attention to detail. The crows nest had several pieces of metal roofing material left out that we didn’t see when we first arrived bc it was dark and almost tripped over it. We constantly had to watch the kids on the crows nest (which obviously with a 4 & 5 yr old we would never let them go out there alone anyway, but even the 12 & 13 yr olds. The boards up there are also uneven and loose in some spots and made me nervous, although that view is unlike any I’ve ever seen at any other VRBO we’ve stayed at in Santa Rosa Beach in the past 4 yrs we’ve been coming! The queen size bedroom on the 2nd floor has issue with the main lock video attached & my son was actually locked in the bedroom for short period of time. The backyard hadnt been cleaned (patio furniture or tables, lounge chairs, umbrella, etc- walking barefoot around the pool area hurt everyone’s feet, but once I found the broom problem was solved. And we loved the privacy and tropical oasis vibe!

Dissapointing. Pictures van be so deceptive. I would not lease ag

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While the location was ok the property itself was a different story. The interior of the house was OK except for the second upstairs bed room the kids bunk ed room was extremely hot at might and the placement of the stairs to the top deck was in the master bedroom. The exterior was terrible. A very small pool (8x16...picture of pool is very deceptive)the landscape was extremely overgrown, plants and trees blocking the walking paths, debris covering furniture and grilling area, mosquito haven, spider webs to walk through every day. I emailed Management twice and received nice replies but no one came to the property. Would never rent this house again. James Evans

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your stay at Petit Bonheur. We have noted your comments about the overgrown pathways and bothersome bugs. We will request that the HOA hire someone to take care of the walkways as we do not manage this particular aspect of the property, but will advise that it be taken care of. We will also request a pest service see if there is anything we are able to do about those spiders and pesky Florida mosquitos so guests can fully enjoy the back patio area. Hidden Oasis on 30A

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Petit Bonheur was an excellent location for our party of 3x adults and 5x kids while on fall break. The house provided plenty of space for all of us to spread out while the common areas were plenty big for us all to enjoy time together. We loved enjoying coffee in the front yard every morning and the landscaping made it feel like you were in your own little oasis even though we were on a street full of other houses! The only concern we had was how overgrown things were in the back yard which kept the pool constantly dirty and made us very nervous using the grill. The pool wasn’t so bad as it was too cold out for the adults and the kids didn’t seem to mind it being dirty... but it wouldn’t hurt if they could trim some of the trees/shrubs back a bit to try and make it a little more enjoyable. As for the grill, it was your typical beach abused gas grill with all of the flame guards nearly rusted out. It was also surrounded by low hanging palm branches and a trellis that was covered in vines... and we were seriously concerned about catching the back yard on fire one night after experiencing a flare-up while making burgers. I was able to keep it under control by turning off the gas and keeping the lid closed, but it ultimately ruined our dinner since I was too afraid to open the lid and have flames hit the nearby trellis/plants/shrubs.

Fun Family Week

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was really nice and the floor plan was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. With the exception of the living room furniture and the rugs in the living area and the breakfast area everything was clean. We arrived in a downpour and found a puddle of water in the main bedroom upstairs. We called maintenance and someone was sent right away. A trash can was placed under the leak. The tower area and the stairs leading up to it smelled damp and musty. We were unable to use this area as several members of our party have severe allergies. We had no TV or internet service during our entire stay. We called about this four times before being told we were at the mercy of the internet company. This was really inconvenient since my husband and our son-in-law had use the internet for business. Our SIL had to find a coffee shop with WiFi to conduct his business. We had some uninvited guests in the form of roach-like bugs in the kitchen and in the bunk room. The pool was small but usable. We spent time in it with the kids daily. The house was located close, within walking distance, to a restaurant and ice cream shops and was a short walk to the beach. In spite of the few problems we encountered, we had a great week with our family.

Terrible Experience - Find another option

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our experience with the house and Benchmark was terrible from start to finish. It began when we were told we could check in around 1pm and when we arrived close to 4pm (our stated check in time) the cleaners were there working and told us they would need 2 extra hours to clean the house. Why were we not proactively notified? We had just purchased groceries and had 8 people, including 4 small kids in the car with no where to land and everything was melting. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. There were SO MANY problems with this run down house. To name a few of the big ones: broken air conditioning units, leaking air conditioning units, windows that wouldn’t close, broken blinds, the pool was completely unusable and neglected, the outdoor space had trash all over it IN THE TREES, the list goes on. It felt like a frat house out there. Everything was moldy, run down and it was clear this house had not been properly maintained. We spent hours and days waiting for repair men, communicating with various people and collectively agreed this felt like more of a home renovation week than a vacation. The only positive thing I can say is the repairmen and cleaners were pleasant and hard working. Why did we have to tell the management company that the pool was green and wasn’t even filled enough or point out multiple wine bottles and trash in the trees or the large puddle of water on the kitchen floor from a leaking A/C unit or the window that wouldn’t shut or the fact that the A/C unit upstairs didn’t even work? The pool man came out so many times to treat, fill, care for the pool and it was still unusuable. In addition to the trash and unkempt pool, the amount of mold on everything and mosquitos was unlike anything I’ve seen. We expect bugs, no problem, but this was truly on another level. Think jungle situation. Main takeaway: AVOID this house and Id highly suggest to AVOID this management company all

Not kept up / Requested and promised cleaning never showed

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is not being kept up. We stayed here last year and the stove was broke. It was still broke this year. The hooks in the bathroom are broke off. Hooks for towels are essential. We requested cleaning upon checkin because the outdoors had trash all around the pool, the pool was dirty, and the grill was disgusting. We received a text that someone would come on Sunday. They never showed. I have lots of pictures of the conditions.

We are very sorry you were not pleased with a few things upon your arrival; however, we can confirm that one of our inspectors did stop by the property and removed the trash and cleaned the grill since those where the two notes given to us that needed to be addressed. They also mentioned that they knocked on the door to speak with you, but no one answered. We can assure you that we take guest concerns very seriously and resolved what we could as soon as possible. Wonderful Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was perfect for our family. The location was fantastic. Beach access was a short walk away, ice cream, coffee, restaurants all within a stone’s throw of the house. It was set back from the road and had a very private backyard. The kitchen was well-stocked (even had an Instant Pot) and spacious. The pool was on the small side which worked out well for our family trying to juggle multiple small children. My only complaint about the house would be that there are no closets in the bedrooms upstairs so it was tricky but not impossible to unpack. We had an issue with the pool during our stay and Benchmark was very responsive and had someone there within 2 hours to fix it. Overall very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again!
