Charmante maison de campagne située à Amarillo College, I-40 et 1-27 dans une zone bordée d'arbres

1930's Cottage dans le quartier historique d'Amarillo. Blocs d'I-40, I-27 et Amarillo College. Emplacement central, proche du centre-ville. Les rues en briques bordées d'arbres ajoutent au charme de ce quartier sécuritaire. Maison dort facilement 6-8 personnes. La chambre principale a un lit King. À l'étage supérieur se trouve un lit double avec une salle de bain attenante avec douche. Dans un deuxième espace de vie en bas, un canapé-lit queen est disponible. Si les températures sont douces, il y a une chambre mansardée avec 2 lits jumeaux. Pas de climatisation directe dans le grenier, donc pas à l'aise de la fin mai à septembre. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des casseroles, poêles et vaisselle. Salle à manger avec grande table et 6 chaises. Deuxième espace de vie a la télévision par câble. Salon principal a une grande télévision avec streaming. Internet disponible. Laveuse et sécheuse est situé dans le garage détaché. Salle de bain baignoire et douche située en bas. Les escaliers à l'étage sont très raides et peuvent prendre un certain temps pour s'y habituer. Il a une main courante pour le rendre plus facile à gérer confortablement. La chambre à l'étage dispose également de son propre HAVC pour plus de confort par temps chaud.

Located in a very pretty tree lined neighborhood. The house was very well appointed and a cozy place to stay for 9 days while on a work trip. Very nice back yard and patio.

Perfect house in an adorable neighborhood

We were in town for a famiy wedding and needed a place where our kids and pups could stretch their legs. The home was immaculate and had plenty of space for all of us. The backyard was a perfect spot for our kids and dogs to run around. There were fun games to play in the family room- even a cool "secret" room upstairs! We loved walking around the neighborhood, too! Gorgeous, well taken care of homes and beautiful parks nearby! The morning we left, we were on the front porch admiring the day and we could hear church bells chiming! It was just wonderful!

I would book for a third time !

I have stayed at the cottage twice while visiting Amarillo. Each time the house is clean, the kitchen has all the cooking ware and utensils needed, and the homes vibe is relaxing and comfortable. I love the character of the home and neighborhood. The location is close to several coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. The owner, Mrs. Andrea is attentive and communicates well. I recommend this Vrbo twice !

Beautiful home in historic district

We felt we received a warm reception. We were a bit later arriving then we expected...so all were tired. Front porch light was on upon arrival. Opened door and walked into a soft clean scent. Walk through house showed a charming clean home. Bedding was soooooo comfortable. Slept like a baby! Had 2 small dogs that loved the fenced back yard also. Would stay here again.

Very dirty

The neighborhood is nice. But the inside of the house was dirty, the kitchen sink was full of mold. The oven door was broken, it was hard to even open the oven.

Verena, I am sorry to hear you had issue with the cleanliness of this property. I wish you would have let me know of any problems during your 3 day stay. I live 5 blocks away and would have immediately come and re-cleaned the house myself. I spoke with Darla, the woman that cleaned the house, and she said the stove was not broken when she cleaned the house prior to your arrival. Nor was it broken when I cleaned 2 days prior. I discovered the glass oven door was broken when I cleaned the house after your stay. The entire oven has been replaced. If the broken oven was brought to my attention before or at any time during your stay, it would have eliminated thought that your family was the one that broke it. House rules are posted within the house in two separate places so that you have a contact phone number if any issues arise. I personally cleaned the house after your stay and didn't find a note, message or text about any issues with the house. If guests let me know of a problem upon arrival, I can either correct the issue or assist you in finding another VRBO that fits your families needs. I appreciate you understanding the need for an extra cleaning fee charged after your stay, due to the excessive dog waste and pet hair left on the property. Again, I apologize for your unhappiness with your stay. I wish you happy and safe travel in the future.

I have lived in Amarillo for many years but am originally from Idaho. I also have a home on the Oregon Coast. I moved to Texas to work at the YMCA as a youth program director. While raising my family I worked at Amarillo College. My son is a baseball player, so now, I travel all over the country to watch him play. I juggle 4 part time jobs and love to stay busy. Amarillo is not the prettiest place I have lived, but hands down it has the kindest people you will ever meet.

This property is rented out six months a year to wonderful travelers and guests of Amarillo. The other six months it is occupied by 3 professional baseball players that train in Amarillo during the off season.

This property is in one of the oldest and more upscale neighborhoods of Amarillo. The streets are tree lined and many of the streets are still made of brick. Lovely houses and year round mild temperatures make this neighborhood a wonderful walking neighborhood. It is conveniently located blocks from 2 major highways and just down the street from Amarillo College.
