Ceci est un endroit trĂšs spĂ©cial. C'est un chalet calme, privĂ©, lumineux et aĂ©rĂ© situĂ© sur prĂšs d'un acre de terrain prĂšs du magnifique lac Hodges. La maison est entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e avec de beaux matĂ©riaux haut de gamme. Pas votre loyer moyen. Asseyez-vous dans le grand porche grillagĂ© et admirez le paysage. Asseyez-vous dehors et profitez d'une autre vue exquise. La maison est entourĂ©e de nature. Il a 1 chambre avec salle de bain en bas en bas et une belle salle de bain principale avec mezzanine queen Ă  l'Ă©tage. Vous ĂȘtes Ă  15-20 minutes en voiture de la plage de Del Mar et de la piste de course sur une magnifique route de campagne Ă  travers Rancho Santa Fe. Montez sur l'autoroute 15 et rendez-vous Ă  Temecula ou au centre-ville de San Diego en 30 minutes. Vous ĂȘtes Ă  proximitĂ© du Wild Animal Park (15 minutes), de nombreux magasins et restaurants. This is a spectacular cottage with lots of space, beautiful decor and an abundance of amenities. The host has done an outstanding job of providing everything one might want, right down to high quality olive oil and other provisions. The natural setting is lovely and the views, as advertised, are amazing. looking over the valley in which the city of Escondido is located. In our experience everything worked perfectly. It was a genuine please to stay here.

Beyond Amazing

This property is a true gem! It's beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. This is NOT your average VRBO, its a little slice of heaven with attention to detail that could be featured on HGTV. The view from the screened in porch is awe inspiring. If you are looking for a serene place to enjoy the greater San Diego area, look no further! Shelley went above and beyond as a host, which made my stay even better. She was thoughtful, helpful, and informative. 5 stars all the way around! I would absolutely stay again.

Charming Cottage with Spectacular Views

Loved, loved, loved this charming cottage. The view of the valley and surrounding mountains is spectacular. The beds and furniture is very comfortable. And the host has provided for every need - the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked and there are ample linens, towels, and supplies. We stayed at the cottage for almost 4 weeks and will definitely stay again.

Lake Hodge Villa

We LOVED our stay in this charming & inviting little San Diego dream house — It is literally a little corner of paradise. We wanted a quiet, peaceful, inspiring abode for our vacation and that’s exactly what we got. With nature all around the house, we felt a bit secluded from the rest of the world, slowed down the city’s fast rythm, soaking in the fantastic views it has to offer as well. The thoughtfully curated house made us feel at home right from the start and we could see that the host put a lot of care and intentionality in the way the different rooms are decorated. It made us appreciate the simpler things such as drinking coffee on the patio, or a cocktail in front of the fireplace. We were also impressed by the abundance of amenities - we had everything we needed and even more. Shelly is such a thoughtful host, leaving us a note to greet us and a delicious surprise and always reponding to our questions in a heartbeat. We are hoping this becomes our ”local thing” and to go back again next year to make new unforgettable memories!

Wonderful experience

This is a delightful house with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and watching the birds soar by at eye level. The flowers on the property and in the surrounding neighborhood were beautiful. Our host was very accommodating and has equipped the house with every amenity.

Exceptional!

I travel to the US for our office in Carlsbad (usually) around 4 times per year from the UK, and I always stay in a different location in the area. Shelleys house is by far the nicest place I have stayed in the last 4-5 years. Not only is in a quiet neighborhood, yet convenient position to all routes, it has AMAZING views on the beautiful screened decking area- with amazing sunrises. The house has WAY more utilities than any rental property I have stayed at before, it really is a home from home. Treat yourself and STOP looking around and stay here (just not when I want to stay here again ;-D Thanks for being amazing Shelley!

A life changing experience

The house is peacefully tucked away and was exactly what I needed to focus deeply on my work and personal life. Every single amenity I needed was provided by Shelley, she literally thought of everything. I literally cannot say enough about how amazing the stay was. Quiet and clean

It was a very clean and comfortable house. And it has everything we need. We can use many white towels like hotel ,bathrobe and European style bathtub I like.

AWESOME Cottage!!!!

You will not go wrong booking this property! It's a darling cottage that is immaculate. The views from the screened porch of the mountains is to die for. You feel like you are living in a treehouse. The décor feels like a seaside cottage, very fresh, light, and airy. Shelley is a wonderful host. It really is an absolutely fabulous home-away-from-home.
