We had a really good stay, and the cabin made a solid home base for our Tahoe trip. The hot tub was a massive hit with the family (we used it every night), and the kitchen was well-equipped for family dinners.The location near Kings Beach is great. Just keep in mind that you cannot walk directly across the street to the water since that shoreline is fenced private property, so you will just need to head down to the public access point.A few things could use attention: the cabin shows some general wear and tear, the dryer took extra effort to get running, and the living room/TV layout is a bit awkward for group movie nights. Overall, though, it was a smooth, positive experience and we enjoyed our time here.

We were so happy to be able to visit Lake Tahoe at this time! The weather was perfect and the lake irresistibly lovely. It was too early for boating or swimming, so the beach was open all day. The cabin is located just a short walk from the lake and downtown Kings Beach. All our needs were met, and we had a lovely time. Vasily was easy to work with and made sure we had all we needed to be comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay!

Host was nice. Location is great. Whoever cleans the inside of the cabin does a thorough cleaning. However, there were some potential hazards with the steps to the hot tub; they tipped over as I stepped out of the hot tub. Just wanted to give the host forewarning for future guests. As mentioned before, the house generally clean, but there is only so much a house cleaner can do. The whole place could use a deep cleaning- walls, doors, carpet, couch cushions. The closet doors in the main bedroom are precariously leaning off the track and are cracked. The yard needs a lot of maintenance- 8ft weeds growing throughout the property, yard debris piled along the fence , old broken bbqs and yard furniture left on the premises. The deck is unstable. I fear that other guests could easily trip and fall around the property. The entire place needs some serious TLC. It has a ton of potential to be a charming rental, but the cabin really needs to be maintained better for the safety and comfort of the guests.

My group and I had a great time! We weren’t in the property for much of the stay but it was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed using the hot tub on our first night. Would recommend.

Beautiful accommodations

The home is perfect for a small family gathering. The home was very comfortable and clean. The host was super responsive, friendly and helpful when I reached out. I definitely recommend this home for anyone looking for a perfect house for their vacation.

Large spaces worked well with our two dogs. Large driveway for parking, and great walking distance to Kings Beach businesses. As mentioned by others, much of the interior is dated, and the exterior is rough.

Ideal Kings Beach location rental

Second time at property. Walk to beach and Kings Beach. Nice fenced yard and pet friendly. Everything works and many beds upstairs for families.
