Cabine confortable, élégante et amusante avec bain à remous privé, foyer, table de billard

La cabane historique Steiner de la communautĂ© Mountain Air, construite en 1925, possĂšde tout ce dont une maison devrait avoir en 2018. SituĂ© Ă  quelques pas de la riviĂšre Sandy, il y a un long sentier qui offre de nombreux endroits pour pĂȘcher ou mĂ©diter, et votre chien pour se dĂ©tendre et profiter des odeurs et du paysage. La propriĂ©tĂ© est un demi-hectare parfaitement plat avec beaucoup d'arbres ĂągĂ©s de 80-100 ans et 2 espaces de pelouse ouverts sur lesquels jouer au badminton, volley-ball, whiffle ball, fetch, etc. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et il y a un barbecue Ă  gaz Weber sur le pont avant, ainsi que des meubles de salle Ă  manger en plein air. La literie est confortable et luxueuse sur tous les lits - une bonne nuit de sommeil est importante quand vous ĂȘtes aventureux. Une des chambres se trouve dans la dĂ©pendance rec-room, qui dispose Ă©galement d'un bar complet, table de billard, TVHD, chaĂźne stĂ©rĂ©o, et une cour privĂ©e avec un foyer et un jacuzzi - cet endroit a Ă©tĂ© construit pour faire la fĂȘte, pour ĂȘtre honnĂȘte. Il y a du wifi partout dans la propriĂ©tĂ© et l'Internet est flamboyant rapide (mots de Google, pas le mien). PoĂȘles Ă  granulĂ©s de bois dans les deux bĂątiments fournissent le confort d'un poĂȘle Ă  bois sans aucun tracas de dĂ©marrer un feu vous-mĂȘme. L'emplacement est excellent; en Ă©tĂ©, c'est une promenade pittoresque sur Wemme Trail ou Mountain Air pour rejoindre le quartier des restaurants Ă  Welches; en hiver, nous sommes Ă  13 milles de Ski Bowl, 20 milles de Timberline et 25 milles de Mt Hood Meadows. La maison est proche de l'autoroute mais les arbres sont si denses qu'il est parfaitement calme dans la maison et Ă  l'extĂ©rieur il est Ă©touffĂ© et semble juste venteux pendant les pĂ©riodes les plus achalandĂ©es. Les week-ends sont un peu plus bruyants, car il y a tellement plus de circulation, mais il y a tellement de choses Ă  faire dans les environs immĂ©diats de la maison que trouver la paix et la tranquillitĂ© n'est jamais difficile.

Nice hot tub, cozy feel, great location. The check in manual needs to be updated as the pellet stove in the main house is not controlled by a thermostat; a few other items in the manual need to be updated as well. It took a bit of troubleshooting to get things rolling but once we figured it out we had a wonderful time. Be aware that the pellet stoves are required for heating both the main house and the game room.

The owner was at the property fixing the hot tub when the first of our party arrived. We weren’t told what was wrong with it, but it was incredibly dirty so nobody wanted to get in it which was disappointing. The pellet stove in the game room wouldn’t turn on after the first day, so that area was fairly cold to stay in. There were plenty of pellets in the reservoir and the thermostat was on, so I don’t know why it stopped.Otherwise, the house and game room were nice. The kitchen was stocked well. There was plenty of bedding to add to try and keep warm in the rec bedroom where the heater wasn’t working. I didn’t realize there was a sauna on the property, so that was nice to use instead of the hot tub.The internet went out one evening and the owner was quick to respond when we contacted him to figure out where to reset the router as well as answer questions about the pellet stove in the main house.

extremely easy check in and check out. fully stocked (outside of your own food of course) kitchen, well maintained hot tub, new classic hot rock sauna in the game room that is adjacent to the hot tub. game room has a large TV you can watch your movies, board game table. it's such a complete package on its own. it's rustic enough as a fantastic getaway but has all the modern features you would want making it really comfortable, private, and relaxing. Renter is available whenever if you have questions which we had a couple and they answered them right away and solved our issues (things like gas for the grill). absolutely a fantastic experience, planning to rent again in the fall or winter. cannot recommend enough.

This was our second stay at the cabin. Great amenities and host. The Rec Roomreally sets the cabin apart from others. Check-in was seamless and easy, would book again.

Beautiful property close to restaurants and stores. Houses were very well cared for. Owner provided an extremely helpful binder on everything from trails and restaurants to things to keep your dog away from. A lot of love has been put into the building of and care for this property.

Great little historic house

This is actually 2 buildings the orginal house has 2 bedrooms and the other building has the game room, 1 bedroom, fire pit, hot tub etc. It was perfect for our group! Of we are ever in that area again we will definitely stay there. We had so much fun

We had an amazing time!

We loved our stay here. The cabin had so much charm. It is 100yrs old so you don't often see places like this with such character. The owners you can see are actively updating but also keeping it feeling like home. The area was perfect for hiking, dining, seeing the mountain, and exploring. The only downside was we wished we had more time here! We loved our stay and hope to come back again.

We truly enjoyed our stay here! The rec room was a fun bonus and where we probably spent most of our time. There was a snafu w/ the heater on our second night, but the owner was super responsive and provided a solution.

We absolutely loved it here. The house is great and had great amenities. The rec room made the experience amazing. The pool table was so much fun and the couch in there is super comfy. We will definitely return.

This was a nice spot to recoup after hitting the slopes on a 3-day weekend. The hot tub was only hot one night so that was a bummer, but the house was perfect for our family of 4.

Family Snow Trip

We came up to spend the weekend as a little family and go play in the snow! This location was close to tubing but still kind of secluded which was perfect for us! It was nice and quiet and had plenty of games for the kids! We had a blast and would definitely stay here again!

A fun and convenient rental that we will continue to use at least twice a year

Extremely convenient to the Regional Park and the stores and the coffee shop all within a few minutes drive. Also close to a great sit-down pizza place and only 30 minutes to the top of the mountain. Highly recommend!

Why leave

Talk about a little slice of heaven. My husband and I haven’t gone out of town in years and we wanted a quaint place in the woods that we wouldn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. We brought food and only left to go on a hike. I love the rec room and pool table! Everything you needed was there and the owner was quick to respond with any questions we had. I think this will be a place we return to.

I was born in Northern California (Siskiyou County) and have always lived in the "State of Jefferson". I moved to SW Oregon as a young child and have been an Oregonian ever since. After attending the University of Oregon, I served 8 years in the Oregon Air National Guard before accepting a position at Intel and eventually getting into the vacation rental business, after realizing that most of the properties available in the area were too overpriced to enjoy the Mt. Hood area as much as I would like to.

I purchased this property because it has essentially unlimited potential for beautiful landscaping. It's very nice and comfortable, but not so nice that I have to worry myself sick about wear and tear. I want everyone to have access to relaxing vacations in the area.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

My favorite thing about the property is all the trees surrounding the house; I just find large trees to be a relaxing and soothing presence. I fell in love with the house when looking at the beautiful brick facade in the front of the house (from Wemme Trail) among all of the native undergrowth landscaping. Honestly, the house would have been enough to sell me on the property, but it also has this awesome rec room with a beautiful bar, a pool table, and nice living area/theatre. The private courtyard and hottub set this place apart from any property in Welches.
