This cabin was perfect for our weekend stay! Host was very responsive and helpful, cabin had everything we needed for adults and toddler and we loved lighting a fire and cozying up!

Nice little place

Lots of traffic on the road. Was pretty Quiet despite the traffic. Hot tub was nice. Didn't even use any of the upstairs, even tho the bathroom was nicer than the downstairs bathroom. All in all, it was a nice time.

Perfect place for rest and relaxation !

Very well maintained location, the hot tub won us over . Photos on the listing doesn’t give this place the credit ! The loft is very large and perfect for the teens. Location was perfect !

Stay in Columbia Gorge

The area is wonderful and the outside area around the house is private and cozy. The house is small and cozy. We were comfortable. The house had been shut.up for a while. It was musty, lots of spiders. Water was light brown. We were unable to.use the hot tub because it was dirty.

Owner not engaged with his properly

The cabin itself is absolutely darling—cozy, well-stocked, and fairly priced. Unfortunately, the experience was soured by the owner's communication style and lack of responsiveness.We had requested early check-in a month in advance and never received a response. When we arrived early (hopeful but understanding), the cleaner had not yet arrived, so we left. We returned just 30 minutes before the 4 PM check-in time, and cleaning still hadn’t started. I texted the owner (the only way he communicates—he does not respond via the booking app), and was met with a snarky reply blaming us for not texting earlier, despite our prior request and nothing in the listing stating texting was required.The cleaner eventually arrived just 10 minutes before official check-in. She was lovely, worked hard, and even went out of her way to get us smaller firewood because what was provided didn’t fit in the stove. She was respectful of our work retreat and did her best under the circumstances.We ended up doing the sheets/towels & had to purchase more appropriate firewood the next day. When I reached out to the owner about a partial refund for cleaning, his only response was, “Was she not there by 4?”—ignoring the broader issues—and then threatened to charge us for early check-in (that we had requested weeks prior and never got a response to). He did refund in the end.I’ve stayed in over 50 VRBOs—some perfect, some with minor issues—but never encountered an owner so dismissive/rude.

Cozy

Had a great time at the cabin and made a great home base for sledding at snow bunny! Clean and well stocked! I was worried about loft for kids but it’s bigger than photos look so we didn’t have any concerns/issues with them sleeping and playing up there. We will be back!

Perfect mountain getaway for a couple nights

We took our son and a couple of his friends on this snowboarding trip. It was a little further from Timberline than I thought it would be but the boys were super happy and didn’t seem to mind the 30 minute drive. The cabin is SUPER convenient to a grocery store and coffee shop. Our favorite amenities were the hot tub and wood stove. These made the weekend super comfortable and relaxing. The cabin fit the 6 of us just fine. This cabin is a cabin- nothing fancy but has everything you need. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

Great Property

We spent a long weekend here for my granddaughters birthday. The cabin was clean and we loved the sleeping loft with second bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, hot tub was a great treat, and the wood stove was cozy. Close to ski area, hiking, and restaurants. Overall, we had a great time and the cabin was perfect for us.

Pleasant stay!

The cabin was clean and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant and comfortable stay overall. However, there were a couple of downsides that stood out.Firstly, the cabin is very close to the road, which meant we had to keep a close eye on our dog anytime we let them outside. This made it a bit less relaxing than we had hoped for. Additionally, there were no curtains or blinds on the bathroom windows, which was an inconvenience and felt a little lacking in privacy.While the cleanliness and upkeep were great, these drawbacks impacted the overall experience. If these issues were addressed, I would give a five stars!

Love This Cabin - 2nd staycation

Thank you to Tim for our stay. It’s our second time staying here but this time, we brought our two best friends & they loved it just as much as our first time. We love the location, the host, & the hospitality. It was lovely being able to have our dogs with us to enjoy time away as well. Thank you Tim!

Lovely cabin in beautiful area

This cabin was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Excellent layout with thoughtful details in the rooms for a very easy stay for three adults and an infant. We were there during a bit of a hot spell and the mini split cooled the place down very effectively so we could all sleep comfortably.

Snow drift cabin

Great vacation cabin, very good amenities, cabin stocked very well. Close to some amazing rivers and hiking spots. Host responded pretty quickly when we lost power due to a local outage. Will definitely return.

I used to spend every weekend on the mountains in my 20's. I meet my wife at Timberline!
Then we had kids. It became a chore to bring the family up.
So I bought this cabin. Making a base camp for the family and renting it to help pay for the mortgage.
We bring food, cloths, and are toiletries. Everything else is up there.

It is a great base for summer or winter activities. Geographically located in the middle of everything that Mt hood has to offer. The cabin has character and not stuffed in a housing development. USA today called it a 'scenic location in a cedar grove at the edge of Mount Hood National Forest'

Knotty pine and open beam construction. The place doesn't feel like 900 sq/ft.
