Our entire team strives to provide all our guests with the best experience, and they shared with us that you were wonderful guests! We apologize for the internet interruption. Normally the service is very good utilizing a combination of fiber optic and cable. This is by far the best and most advanced service available in the area. In conjunction with reading your comment, we discovered the issue was the theft of a section of these lines on the main road and it affected our subdivision. Repairs are underway now. Regarding chefs, we can suggest local providers to guests on request. Our goal is to offer access to local talent as an added bonus to your private resort experience. We do not make any commission from outside services and all arrangements are made between guests and providers. The rates charged for shopping and menu are a matter entirely up to client preferences. Brenda is a great cook! We do hope that your time at Ocean Oasis Costa Rica was pleasurable and It would be our delight to host you again. Ann, Thank you seems so inadequate for your simply wonderful review! But, thank you, will have to do for now. I have shared your review with Julio, Brenda, Saidy, Cori, Leo landscaping, and Javier. I just know they are all smiling! Each of them are really gems and I'm so proud of their efforts. Ocean Oasis is a labor of love. My husband and I built it step by step over the past 24 years, adding details along the way that make the experience as special as possible. We started with just an empty lot and 6 palm trees at the property line. This is not a basic rental house, but our concerto to life in the tropics. It is all built with the concept of Chinese Feng Shui. Perhaps that is what makes it so magical. I know the wildlife enjoy passing by each day ( a night!) We would be delighted to host your group again. With so many places to go in the world, at least you will know how welcome you will be when you ever return "home". Don't forget us! The location on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula makes Ocean Oasis is a hidden gem and true paradise. It's great to be close to amenities, yet also have all the privacy desired.
