This place is great for a family of 3. Excellent location, close to boardwalk. Street parking was available, very busy week we stayed but we found a spot. Owner was very informed of happenings in the area and good places to eat.

Pleasant Wildwood Vacation

The rental was bigger than we expected and has that classic beach apartment feeling! Everything was clean and comfortable, and Rhonda made sure we had everything we needed!

Cozy, clean, great location

Rhonda is a very welcoming host. As soon as we arrived, she made sure we had everything we needed. She was also available throughout our stay for any local recommendations.The location is amazing - quiet yet close to the beach, as well as stores and restaurants. It was a wonderful vacation :)

Perfect place to stay

We had a fantastic stay!! Located close to everything, all within walking distance. Rhonda was amazing!! She made sure we had everything we needed and also gave us many recommendations for places to go during our stay. The property was perfect for our week visit!! We can't wait to go back!!!

Apartment was clean and perfect for our little family of four. Equipped with everything you need to cook with nice grill and backyard area. Great location! So many things are in walking distance. The owner Rhonda was very welcoming and helped make our visit very enjoyable.

A great time in Wildwood

A really affordable, well-located place to stay for our family of 4! A short walk to the beach/boardwalk, walking distance to restaurants and groceries, an outdoor shower and clothesline, and a gracious host in Rhonda. We had a lovely time. Thank you! :)

Short walk to everything

Rhonda is a sweetheart who clearly cares about making your vacation easy and relaxing. Her place is a short walk to the beach (our 5yo who normally complains about tired legs made it there just fine!), as well as to delicious food and classic beach-town activities. If you want stereotypical frills, pay more money to stay in a hotel/resort. This home had everything we needed, including use of a beach caddy, chairs, umbrella, outdoor shower, and kind/knowledgeable/warm host.

Fantastic Getaway

The stay was nothing short of perfection! We had the most amazing time in a central location. It was a short walk to everything you needed/wanted. The car never moved once during our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and convenient. We really enjoyed relaxing on the porch and taking it all in. The host was the sweetest & most genuine person that we have met. We have already booked a returning stay. We are counting down the days. Thank you Rhonda! You are absolutely the best and so is your rental!

You can stop looking now - you found it : )

Everything about this home was perfect - it is a beautiful, impeccably clean house with lots of space for everyone. The backyard with tables, chairs, and an outdoor shower were great coming back from the beach. It is just over a block from the beach, incredibly close. The owner lends you a cart so you can bring your equipment back and forth from the beach easily. The home is also a quick drive from Cape May, where we hiked and walked around town. And the owner and her family were probably the best part! Incredibly welcoming, flexible, and attentive to anything we could possibly need. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else and could not recommend this place highly enough!

Amazing Location!

We had an amazing time at this cute little beach apartment. We were in walking distance to the Boardwalk and beach but far enough away to enjoy peaceful mornings and nights. Rhonda was such a great host. She greeted us upon arrival, made sure we had a parking space, stocked us with ice and snacks and even offered to help us with our luggage. Above and beyond, Rhonda even brought in a keurig for us and supplied us with pods because I asked if the apartment had one. We didn’t NEED it, but it was convenient because I drink decaf and my friend does not. I would 100% book again if I go back to Wildwood. Thanks Rhonda!

Fun getaway!

We loved our time in Wildwood, and Rhonda was wonderful host! She met us when we arrived, and gave us suggestions on where to go to eat, along with some fun things to do with my kids. Her recommendations did not disappoint! She lives right behind the apartment, so she is easily available if you need her. The apartment was clean and in a great location. It was quiet at night, and I felt safe where we were. I parked my car nearby and never moved it until we left. We walked to restaurants, stores, the beach, and the boardwalk. Rhonda supplied me with beach chairs, umbrellas, and a beach cart, which was very helpful. It was a perfect little getaway with my kids! Thank you Rhonda!

Great location, but issue with AC and internet misrepresentation

We loved the location - close to everything we wanted and the property itself was clean. No deadbolts, flimsy locks, but area safe. The beds and living spaces were a bit dated, but comfortable.Unfortunately, two major issues made our stay less enjoyable. The internet situation did not match the listing description. I had specifically confirmed before booking that the Wi-Fi was high speed and reliable enough to work remotely. When we arrived at the property, there wasn't even a router in the rental! It was in the host's house, which is behind the rental. I ended up having to host my Zoom calls from the back yard, in windy and lightly rainy conditions. Miserable experience! Even inside the house, the internet wasn't even adequate for my son to play his Ipad. In addition, the air conditioner in the main room was extremely dirty and had some black/dark mold growing inside of it. It was making us feel sick so we had to cover it with a plastic bag and stop using it for the rest of our stay. The property manager, Rhonda declined to address it properly during our visit.If the cleanliness of all appliances - AC and accurate internet information are important to you, I'd recommend clarifying these points in detail before booking. Parking is also "free" as described, however there are only a few spots near the house and the remainder of the parking is paid. Rhonda did not provide any tags to use for parking so you are responsible for finding our own spot. Good luck!

NOT worth it! Being close to the beach is the only positive thing about this rental. Left early.

Pictures are not accurate. Very out dated. We realized quickly after arriving the pictures online were not from the apartment we were in. Possibly they are from the adjoining apartment. Layout looks to be reversed- but furniture, bathroom, etc. are not what is seen online! Totally misleading. Very small bathroom. Bathroom sink is so low our newly turned 6 year old was the only one short enough to use it. There was an opening above the shower that allowed all heat in AND you could hear everything that was happening in the back yard which is shared by the connected apartment and the owners who were staying in the building to the back of the yard. Every time we went outside a member of the owners’ family was there. They were polite yes, but if you want a quite family vacation like we did choose another place to stay. Not family friendly set up. Old pots and pans which made clean up time consuming. A frozen pizza wouldn't even fit in the oven. Ants on the small counter space by window. Dust and dirt visible at the edges and corners of the floor in every room. Closets and storage space including the built-in dressers are unfinished wood and have an odor. Two window unit AC’s were turned to 67degrees when we arrived. We first were alarmed by how cold the setting was but they needed to be set that low so it cooled the entire apartment. (And we kept the bathroom door closed because of the incoming hot air) The main doors would have been so easy to break into. We put suit cases and a cooler in front of the doors each night. The back steps are very steep and awkward to open the door and not fall down the stairs. The beds are not any bigger than a twin. This is probably why the bedding was included because if you brought your own sheets it would confirm the size is not identified correctly. We had to have one adult and child in a bed because two adults couldn’t lay in the bed together. We enjoy Wildwood but we would never stay here again! We decided to stay at bit closer to the beach so we only had to walk and let me tell you…it was disappointing. Not worth the money! We came home early and tried to contact the owner about why we left early. We didn’t want to share our major grievances while there since they have a key and could access our belongings when we were at the beach. We never got a response. We had to open a complaint/case up with VRBO since the owners refused to contact us and come to a resolution.

These people complained from the moment they got out of the car…the ride was long and it was too hot. Both parents and children were above average in size and should of asked if I had at least queen size beds.

A perfect way to discover Wildwood!

First and foremost Rhonda and is family are very welcoming and interesting to talk to. She is available and can help you with all your needs. You really feel like home when you're there. The appartement is close to everything. We went for the beach and one of the best thing is the outside shower, perfect when you get back from the beach. The cart is also very helpful to cary your stuff to the beach which is 2 minutes away. We went there a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers and the appartement has all the space and everything you need for the perfect trip to Wildwood. The front porche is also a plus to enjoy Wildwoods cool night breeze at the end of busy days of beach and boardwalk. That was our first time in Wildwood and we choose the perfect place! The best host!

This property was perfect for our family during our weekend stay in Wildwood for the soccer beach blast tournament. Rhonda was an amazing hostess and the property was clean and charming. We will definitely be booking here again when we come back to Wildwood!

Just as it was described

Nice little place in a great location. I would definitely consider returning. Beds are a bit small to accomodate 2 people but if you are two people looking to have seperate bedrooms, its perfect. The owner was very accomodating and even let us check in the night before we were due to arrive.

Convenient, clean and functional

Our family enjoyed staying at Fran Mar. It is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and entertainment. We made good use of the beach cart to carry our stuff to and from the beach. The rental house has enough room for our family of four, and the beds and sofa are comfortable. At night we keep the windows open to let in the cool night breeze. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils and tools. The outdoor hose, outdoor shower and clothes line are so useful after a trip to the beach. Check in and check out is so easy and Rhonda let us check in early, which was very thoughtful. I enjoyed my talk with Rhonda and her mom Mary to learn about the history of the property. I highly recommend this property if you want a nice, cozy, clean and affordable place to stay at Wildwood Beach..

Family fun

Rhonda was a wonderful hostess. The home was clean and well stocked for a short shore vacation. My sister and our 4 children were comfortable and greatly enjoyed the location of this home. Great Place!

Rhonda is a wonderful host. She made you feel like old friends even though we just met. This apartment may be small in nature but it’s location to the boardwalk, beach, & restaurants makes its larger than life. It has all the amenities one would need for a great stay in Wildwood. Plus the use of the beach cart was one less thing I had to cram into the car. I would definitely rebook in the future.
