Celia‘s property is amazing. All of the activity from the Town Square including the two weekly markets, is right out front, but you don’t hear it with the windows closed! She had everything that we needed and she got back to us right away with any questions either about her place or about the local area and parking. One thing - do pay attention to the description about the narrow, steep stairs, there are a lot. I definitely recommend this property, and if we’re back in the area, we would book it again! Fantastic 4 day stay! As others have commented the location is perfect with great food options and central to everything you’ll want to see. Market on Sunday right outside your window; magical. Place is spacious and lots of character. Loved it! ( only caution would be for someone with problems walking up some stairs).

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property! The location was perfect for us—not only for enjoying the town itself, but also for how easy it was to get in and out of the area for day trips. Having convenient parking was a huge plus since we had a rental car.We stayed during a major heat wave, and the air conditioning units were exceptional and kept the home very comfortable. We also really appreciated having a washing machine. The host had thoughtfully prepared a welcome book with instructions and user guides for all of the appliances, which was incredibly helpful.The area outside can be lively in the evenings, which we loved, but the home was surprisingly quiet inside. Even on nights when we wanted to go to bed early, we could barely hear anything from outside.Overall, the property was comfortable, convenient, and very well prepared for guests. We had a great experience and would happily stay here again!

This has been best experience ever , such a great location withing Isle de la Sorgue . Town is easy access to the Luberon and to Avignon for convenience. Host where very graceful , apartment unique and larger than it looks , clean no hidden surprises , will stay there again. of all 20 apartments rented through different source this one is our very favorite .

Wonderful vacation in Provence!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay! While the property is right in the middle of a beautiful and bustling town, the apartment is lovely and quiet. Parking is free easy, and just around the corner.

Nice location

Great Place!

This is a great place! It's centrally located in the village, and the Thursday farmer's market is on the doorstep. The home is modernized and roomy and has all the necessities. Even though the place is modernized, it gives the feel of an authentic old-world lodging. Also, Celia was very nice, informative and easy to reach. We would definitely stay here again!

Best appointed and located!

We loved being in the centre of this lovely town and enjoyed the twice weekly markets just outside our door. Great apartment to cook in and superb views. Lots of things to see and do in town and wonderfully located to go by car to many Provence towns and cities. Would stay again. If you have trouble with stairs best to look somewhere else.

Awesome apartment

This apartment was perfect for our 7 night stay in Provence. The apartment is well equipped with everything we needed - it is an interesting layout with multiple stories and many steps. The bed is comfortable. The view is directly across from the cathedral and main market square. The location is central to many areas to visit.

Awesome location in L’Isle sur la Sorgue

Celia was way to contact and very responsive! The location cannot be beat as it was located on the main Square with convenient free parking. There were lovely views of the courtyard and several very close pastry and coffee shops! I would note the the stairs are narrow And steep so the setting may not be the best for all visitors. We had a fabulous time there!

Excellent apartment- location, facilities all round

The apartment was excellent, very well equipped, spotlessly clean and a fantastic location. L’Isle Sur La Sourge is a beautiful place in Provence. It was busy and bustling with plenty going on without being noisy. We travelled by train which was very easy and getting about without a car also very good with reasonable access to many locations by bus or train. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish. Thank you for a lovely stay

Charming flat in lovely setting

We had a wonderful time in this sweet flat located in an historical stone building: very charming, with much individual character, excellently equipped, efficient aircondition on both levels of the flat, bakery next door, supermarkeet 5 mins walk, quiet despite market on Wednesdays and Sundays, parking 5 mins walk, nice landlady. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is an historical marekt town with many shops, bars, restaurants, right in the middle of the Provence.

Peace in Provence

I loved this property. It is beautifully presented, with a very comfortable bed, excellent aircon, great shower and new kitchen appliances. The location couldn’t be better, right in the middle of town, near to bars restaurants a small supermarket, boulangerie and butcher’s. I didn’t have a car as I had friends staying nearby who were driving me about so I can’t comment on the parking. The apartment is remarkably quiet considering the location. It’s a great spot which I highly recommend

Wonderful appointments in a great location!

I've stayed in at least 50 or more rental properties over the past 20 years, and in terms of appointments, this was one of the best in terms of value. The kitchen had just about everything, from good quality pots and pans to a large (medium by American standards?) refrigerator freezer. The location is really convenient...walking distance to restaurants, shops, etc., and just steps from the Thursday and Sunday markets. My only caveat is to take the owner's warnings about steps seriously...there are a lot of them!

Fabulous stay

The apartment in downtown l’lses-sur-la-Sorgue was absolutely marvelous! Celia was easy to work with and communicated everything very clearly. The location as a base was wonderful and the town is charming. The apartment had everything we could ask for. The stairs in the apartment are not for those who have mobility issues. However we manage them very nicely. The two time weekly markets were thrilling to see. As were the numerous wonderful restaurants to be had in town.

Stamina for stairs

Could not have picked a better location. Communication with Celia was superior. Two plus narrow spiral stair cases are a challenge with large suit cases and would have been nice to understand that detail ahead of time. All else was fantastic!

Celia (and Robert) were great! Working with Robert at check-in tested my French but we got through it just fine. Celia is a wonderful host who even checked in with us during the heatwave to make sure we were OK--much appreciated! The "Olive Tree on the Roof" is a charming apartment and the photos/descriptions are all accurate. She has thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Placed in the heart of the church plaza, you'll feel connected to the market and the vibrant life along the river. The apartment is quaint and cozy, yet modern. It's very quiet with quality double-glazed windows--you can hear the church bell and not much else. (It stops at night) Be sure to heed Celia's warnings on parking--we got towed even in a free lot. There was work being done to cut and clear tress at the sports field and we didn't see the signs when we arrived late in the day. No ticket but the towing fee was hefty. AND it's possible that the car was scratched during that process which the rental company then saw and charged us!!! Paid parking is not expensive and safe--be sure to read signs for fees. There's an app as well which is convenient to use! What you may not realize are not just the stairs IN the apartment, but the stairs TO the apartment. Many have commented so I won't add more there. ENJOY!!!

Perfect Location & Property

We LOVED our stay in this thoughtful, modern and right in the heart of Ly.'isle sur la Sorgue apartment. Wonderful view of the square and especially fun to watch the market on Thursday and Saturday right from the window overlooking the church. Celia was easy to communicate with and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The stairs up and within the apartment could be an issue for someone with mobility issues, but after the first trip up we actually grew to love them. FYI, the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedroom which could be tricky at night if you aren't 100% stable on your feet. Overall a 10+ for us! We would definitely book again!
