Très bel appartement Loft, complétement rénové avec de beaux matériaux, dans une bâtisse authentique du XIX siècle. Conçu avec des matériaux respectueux de l'environnement, il offre une isolation thermique et acoustique optimale.
Idéalement situé à 5 mn à pied du vieux centre de l'Isle sur la Sorgue; pas de vis-à -vis.

Le logement (51.5 m2 ; 60 m2 avec mezzanine) comprend un salon/salle à manger ouvert, une belle cuisine entièrement équipée, lave-vaisselle, une chambre double avec une salle d’eau attenante, une salle de bain familiale, une mezzanine spacieuse pour un troisième couchage. Appartement aussi avec une machine à laver le linge.

L'appartement offre une vue plein Sud sur la ville, et une vue Nord sur la rivière de la Sorgue et le Mont Ventoux.

Une possibilité du parking public en immédiate proximité (caméra vidéo municipale à l'entrée).
Une attention particulière est à apporter sur les disponibilités, lors des jours du marché (jeudi et dimanche). Des aires de parking sont disponibles, sur l'ensemble de la commune.

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is a jewel with stupendously colorful, varied, and vibrant street markets twice a week. The apartment is ideally situated - an easy walk to all of the town's features. But it's also on a quiet street that faces one of the branches of the river. The apartment is well appointed and clean with Nespresso machine, washer-dryer and a full kitchen. It is a 2 flight walk-up. The building appears to be a modernized old building with thick solid walls containing six units that all appear set up for rentals.

This VRBO in the heart of L’Isle de Sur la Sorgue was a fantastic experience. The location is superb, placing you right in the middle of this charming town. The apartment itself was spotless and well-maintained, with all the amenities you could need. Wonderful apartment

We stayed for 4 wonderful nights in this clean, well equipped apartment. Everything was perfect and we look forward to retuning someday. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment has great views on both sides.

Well equipped loft apartment

The apartment was particularly comfortable with with good seating and a comfy bed. We enjoyed the outlook over the river. Everything in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is within easy walking distance and the parking is very convenient.

Great location.

The property presents well and is very well equipped with all the essentials, including a washing machine. Location is excellent with a very short walk to all the village has to offer. The village has a great vibe on market days. Parking is a bit hit and miss but we always found a spot within a 6 minute walk from the property. It was a little warm during our stay and an air conditioner would have been ideal. However a good fan was provided which provided some relief. The main bedroom mattress is a little tired but we still mange to sleep ok. Overall a comfortable accommodation.

Dear Glen, We are delighted to know that you had a pleasant stay in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue – also known as the “Venice of the South” – and that you enjoyed the apartment, its amenities, location, and the village’s atmosphere, especially on market days. As the apartment is located right on the edge of the Historic Center and by the Sorgue River, it offers a peaceful and relaxed way of life, away from the main crowds, while being just a short walk from all the village’s attractions and amenities. As for the heat, it is indeed one of the well-known characteristics of our beautiful Provence. Because the apartment is located within the protected zone of the city center, it is not possible to install traditional air conditioning units on the façades, due to regulations set by the Heritage Protection Service. However, several features help keep the heat under control: wooden shutters on the outside (to be closed “en cabane” during the hottest hours), curtains inside, fully redone insulation completed in February 2025, thick walls, and cross-ventilated windows to allow airflow. Two fans are also provided (one on the mezzanine and another in the bedroom). Regarding the mattresses, the one on the mezzanine was replaced in 2022, and the one in the bedroom was also carefully chosen – hypoallergenic, soft yet supportive, keeping in mind that everyone has a different sleep style (side, stomach, back) and body type. We hope to welcome you again!

Comfortable stay

Comfortable, clean apartment. Really convenient having a washing machine and dish washer. Only negative as others have mentioned was parking. It was rare that we could park close. Usually about 10 minutes away. It’s a lovely town so it’s popular.

Regarding the comment about the parking, the large public parking area, which is free, partially shaded, and under video surveillance, located right by the water in close proximity to our rental, is indeed appreciated by people. Since the beginning of 2023, the town has three free parking areas with a total of 850 spaces. Cozy apartment with all the amenities

Wonderful location in a charming town with beautiful views of the Sorgue river and mountains. Central location to visit other towns in Provence. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything you could need including if you wanted to whip up dinner at home. Close to everything in town. The apt manager Elayne was very close if needed to answer questions. She recommended a terrific person to take us on a wine tour for the day! We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful apartment

Beautifully decorated apartment, perfectly located in this great little village. Communication with property manager was efficient and responsive. Property exactly as described and pictured. One minor improvement…in summer it is very hot. There is an a/c in the bedroom, one more A/C unit would make the apartment absolutely perfect.

In fact, we are one of the few apartments in this area of the city with air conditioning in the bedroom, as it was allowed before the change in the Heritage Protection law. Beautiful convenient place around corner to center!

Perfect for two of us. Happy to find good parking space nearby, but we were able to find free parking space in nearby lot. The apartment was on the third floor. Tough climbing for two 84 year olds. But we were used to it. No problem. We did it several times a day.

It remains quite easy to find a spot, except on Sunday mornings, which is a very popular market day throughout the region. As for the stairs, the apartment is in a building protected by the provisions of the Heritage Service. We are fortunate to still have a vintage spiral staircase with the original tiling and handrail, which is quite rare today. Lovely loft

Lovely and well appointed loft apartment very convenient to the town center and right on the water front. The heat was excessive during our weeklong stay and the little bedroom air conditioner and two fans made it tolerable late at night after a shower, but we really had to stay away during the day. Our only real complaint: All mattresses need replacing; upstairs was so hard that our daughter ended up using the couch instead, while we had to angle our bodies to find the better spots on the bedroom mattress.

Superb location and apartment. One shower drain was very slow to drain so showers were shorter than usual. Stove instructions were not detailed in instruction book. We had to find out on you tube that the key emblem had to be pressed for 30 seconds so the burners were useful. The apartment was on the third floor and no elevator up. If someone was or is handicapped, they can not stay there. This was not indicated up front. The location and the town was very charming and rustic. The food and the people were great too. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Lovely, well-equipped apartment in great location

Lots to love about this apartment in L'Isle sur la Sorgue. The location is fantastic. Parking was easy and most of the sites in Provence were within easy reach by car. L'Isle itself is charming and a really nice place to stay with lots of little shops, ice cream parlors and casual restaurants. Elayne, the property manager, was lovely and very helpful. It was also very nice that the apartment owners left a bottle of wine and a large bottle of water for us. We didn't cook while we were there but we did use the refrigerator and toaster -- all the appliances we used were new and in perfect working order -- and the kitchen was fully equipped with all the dishes and flatware you could possibly need. The bed in the one real bedroom was very comfortable. The furnishings in the apartment are beautiful, comfortable and all you really need. The washing machine is actually a washer/dryer and although it's small and takes quite a long time to both wash and dry clothes, it lets you pack less clothing than you'd have to otherwise bring. Be aware that it is up two flights of stairs, which would have been perfectly fine had it not been so unbearably hot during our stay. Unfortunately, we were there for a record-setting, blistering heat wave. The bedroom does have a small air conditioner that helps with sleeping in that room but does almost nothing to cool the rest of the apartment. The only thing that was not accurate about the listing was the internet, which worked absolutely fine for basic tasks like email and web browsing but was nowhere near the 100+Mbs mentioned in the listing. I did need to conduct one "Zoom" business call while there and the internet connection couldn't handle it -- I had to disable the camera in order to participate. Luckily, I was on vacation so having super-speedy internet most of the time was not a requirement for me. We would certainly recommend the apartment for a single or couple. The mezzanine bed up a spiral staircase would have been fine had it not been so bloody hot, which of course was not the fault of the apartment. Would gladly return should we visit that region again.

Très agréable appartement avec une situation idéale au coeur historique. La lumière traversante et sa mezzanine confère une ambiance cossy avec une très belle décoration. Les 2 salles de bain et les 2 wc apportent également un plus indéniable. Pour le stationnement gratuit, après avoir intégré le contexte du quartier, cela se gère.

Cher Monsieur, Merci de votre retour. Selon nos échanges oraux/écrits, et descriptif de l'annonce, de nombreux parkings publics sont disponibles et gérés par la Municipalité. Pour la climatisation, elle ne figure pas dans l'annonce et descriptif des équipements (deux gros ventilateurs sont à disposition). Nous sommes désolés que vous vous soyez trompé dans vos dates de réservation, que vous ayez dû partir un jour plus tôt que ce que vous n'aviez prévu, sans possibilité pour nous de pouvoir prolonger une nuit supplémentaire, en raison de la réservation complète du Loft Provence, en pleine saison. Nous regrettons aussi l'évocation de votre impossibilité de connexion et disparition de votre réservation de la plateforme Abritel, pour lesquelles, en tant qu'hôte, nous n'avons aucune prise, ayant pour notre part, confirmé à Abritel que tout était bien en ordre de notre côté, sur leur site, et répondu à votre demande. S'agissant du stationnement, le grand parking public, gratuit, tout juste en bas du loft (vidéo surveillance), est bien prisé, comme celui le long de la Sorgues. Un séjour des plus agréable chez Christelle et David! Le logement est conforme aux photos. Il est bien situé, avec le stationnement municipal gratuit, à ce temps-ci de l’année, juste de l’autre côté. L’emplacement est calme et toutes vos courses peuvent se faire à pied par la suite. La communication avec les hôtes est rapide et il y a tout l’équipement requis pour cuisiner. Nous avons adoré notre séjour!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in einem sehr schönen Ort gelegen. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Sehr netter Kontakt zur Vermieterin. Die Wohnung war sehr schön, nur dass die 2. Schlafgelegenheit auf der Mezzanine war, die könnte man schöner gestalten als 2. Schlafzimmer, war so ein bisschen wie Abstellraum. An sonsten alles sehr schön.

Beautiful loft.

The loft is on the top floor of a period, three storey building with a dual aspect living area and views to faraway Mt Ventoux. It is very clean, tastefully presented and with everything you could want in terms of equipment. It is quiet yet within 2-3 minutes walk of the centre of Isle sur la Sorgue. Parking was generally available on the quai side below although on one occasion we had to park in the free public car park just over the river but within sight of the loft. Communication from Elayne was very good and timely. We would recommend the loft for a couple or couple with one/two children old enough to sleep on the mezzanine level accessed by the spiral staircase..
