Spectacular accommodations!

My husband and I have stayed at many properties, and this rates right up there at the top. Absolutely beautiful setting, with everything you could possibly need or want for a vacation. The owners and manager was so easy to deal with, and their main concern was our comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

Beautiful location for rest and relaxation. No backyard neighbours but the golfers at a good distance. Exactly what I needed to unwind and to start off the summer. Thank you and will be back soon!

Exactly what I needed!

I spent a couple of days as a late summer, midweek break, where I wanted to be able to get away, and just relax. This cottage delivered exactly as promised. Communication with Al was easy, and he answered the few questions I had before I arrived. Bonnie, who manages the property was very helpful.

Blissful getaway

After being in lockdown for months on end... Renting this cottage was the best decision we made. Al was amazing to communicate with and the cottage was exactly as described and pictured. We spent out afternoons sitting on the outdoor couch and watching golfers tackle the 16th hole. We made all our means outside on the BBQ with a nice covered porch. Loved the campfire and we sat outside and enjoyed it every night. Firewood is available for purchase from the resort and delivered right to your door. This cottage was more of a mini condo with all the comforts of home. Also.. being from Toronto we experienced our first mayfly mating and Woah... What an experience it was!! Belle River town is a short drive away and we did decide to check out the town. It was quiet but noting where we are in reopening.. I'm sure it will only get better. Loved staying here... Thanks Al and Vera... We are definitely going to try and book again with you in the fall! Jennifer and Chris

My family had a wonderful time at Al and Vera’s. The place has all amenities you could need and everyone is very friendly. We enjoyed going to the nearby beach, swimming in the pool, having a campfire and more.

Relaxation and convenience

My small family of 5 plus my mother stayed at this beautiful property. Bonnie hosted and was super lovely, gave us a tour and provided information about all local shops, restaurants, and leisure activities. The children were in the pool most of our stay and it was available very frequently, the place was super quiet and we just loved the location of the cottage. I would visit this property again in a heartbeat.

Al’s place was super cute spot on the golf course. We loved the view and it was well appointed. They had everything covered that we would need. We loved the restaurant and the kids had lots of fun.

Beautiful

We had the pleasure of staying in this unit for 4 nights. Everything described is accurate and a very friendly community! We were contemplating cancelling because it was supposed to rain the whole time but we are so happy we didn’t! Even with Covid restrictions the kids still had an amazing time and I almost prefer the scheduled time slots for the community pool as it’s not over crowded. There is a boat launch and option to dock your boat for your stay for a small fee and they even have paddle boat rentals which we took advantage of for the kids! The only down fall was there was some construction at the neighbours and the park was draining the septic tank and had the generator running until 11pm the one night, which is the only reason I took a star away ( no fault of the owners of this beautiful unit) We would definitely stay again!

Gorgeous cottage, property and amazing stay!

Al and Vera; Thank you sooo much for everything! The cottage was gorgeous and the view whether golfing or not was just amazing and just what we needed! We had such a relaxing stay! Our doggie Cornell also enjoyed it very much! Being able to bring our doggie with us made us very happy! We had a few days of rain so Chris wasn’t able to golf but next time! The cottage was absolutely spotless and having all of the dishes and pots and pans made it very easy for us! So appreciated! Hoping to visit again! Chris and Francesca and Cornell☺️

Our stay at this little piece of heaven was fantastic!

Our stay at Al and Vera's cottage was fantastic! The location is perfect, with just a short drive to a marina, beach and view of the United States. The check in process was so easy, their cottage was super clean and the amenities they have for such a small place is perfect for a weekend getaway or longer!

We had a great time at Al and Vera’s wonderful cottage. We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier spot or better weather. We enjoyed our view of the golf course, and in the evenings it was like having our own private park. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
