Maison de 700 pieds carrés, vient d'être rénovée, avec cuisine entièrement fonctionnelle (cuisinière à gaz, grand réfrigérateur.), 2 chambres (lit king dans l'une, l'autre a deux grands lits canapé-lit disponible dans le salon, une grande salle de bain , fenêtres a / c unités dans chaque chambre, ventilateurs ailleurs. Petit porche avec barbecue et table de pique-nique partagé avec une autre maison. Situé à quelques minutes des commerces de Liberty. Le propriétaire d'à côté est généralement disponible si nécessaire. Domaine de 15 acres sur une route généralement calme à côté d'un parc de plus de 200 acres.

My dogs and I were in the area for a dog trial and the cabin was the perfect place for us to stay and feel relaxed and refreshed. We would definitely stay again. Easy going host who made it easy for us to feel comfortable. I loved the bedding!

The location right outside of town while also feeling remote based on immediate surroundings really gives this property a double edge. It’s quaint enough to feel like you’re on a mountain retreat but complete with amenities and comforts. I particularly liked the communal vibe as people leave items for others to enjoy. Host was very responsive.

Hot water and heat system perfect. Place is very quiet which was good for us. Just one recommendation, the furniture inside needs to be replaced and the inside remodeled to be competitive. From kitchen utensils to bedroom sets. Our staying was short and our outdoors activities were somewhere else, so i can’t say much about the area around it. Thank you

Our host John was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The house was nice and cozy and was exactly as described. All of the necessities were provided. We stayed for 3 nights and have zero complaints!

John made check in and check out easy. We stayed for 3 nights for a rainy Memorial Day weekend. The electric baseboard heaters were essential for staying warm and they worked well. There was a layer of dust across the house that caused some issues with my allergies. The cabin was more rundown than it appeared in the pictures with out dated furniture covered with blankets to hide the flaws. We were able to cook while there with the cookware and dishes available, but I'd plan to pack utensils if there are more than 2 people in your party. We appreciated that there was plenty of hot water for showers after a couple rainy hikes. All in all the cabin was habitable for the weekend, but we'd recommend a more thorough cleaning prior to the arrival of the next guests. We loved having a quiet stay in nature and appreciated meeting John as we were leaving.

Me and my husband want to get out of the city for a few days and this was a perfect retreat. I was clean relaxing had a kitchen for us to make breakfast and was conveniently located to all the places we wanted to go. John was responsive and communicative. We had a great time.

This place is a beautiful, cozy rental. I rented this property, to get away from the city and bring my mom and best friend along. It was a great stay, John was never too far, to help. I wanted to stay an extra day because it was just so peaceful and pleasant. John had no problem with it and was very friendly. I would definitely stay again.

Very clean and cozy property, it suited us perfectly! It was pet-friendly and my dogs loved hiking up to walnut mountain park.Host is great, he was so kind and helped us out of a tough situation where we had to extend our stay. He even cleared snow from our car which was extra kind.The cabin is just perfect. It was warm and cozy, a little haven. We hope to return in the summer when we have to visit family again. Highly recommend for couples and those who like a quiet comfortable spot away from the maddening crowd. Thank you again, John!

Great and relaxing

We had a very short visit to John’s. It was super comfortable, and even though it was 8 degrees out we stayed warm in the cabin! It’s right near a park and the kids had fun. Really perfect!

We had the best time at John's cabin! It was cozy, clean and the bed was super comfortable. John thoughtfully provided a tennis ball with our pup's name on it and a frisbee for her to play with. She loved running around the beautiful property. We took gorgeous walks on the farm and throughout Walnut Mountain Park. We met John in person on our last day and he was incredibly kind and welcoming. We would gladly return!

We enjoyed our stay very much. John is a great host. The snow was shoveled from our walkway for an easy walk up to our door from the driveway. He turned on the heat for us and the cabin was so toasty and cozy. It was a perfect location for us and our 2 dogs with lots of land to roam around and a trail from the back of the farm right to the park. We hiked up to the walnut mountain overlook and it was lovely. Other than our hike we just relaxed in the cabin listening to music, cooking, watching the snow fall through the windows. Good vibes! Thank you John! Will be back soon :)

Relaxing and peaceful getaway

We loved the location, being on Bird Song Farm with beautiful land to wander and connect to hiking trails at Walnut Mountain. John the host is very friendly and responsive. We would certainly return!

perfect getaway from the city

The property was so nice, so quiet, and walking along the paths was wonderful, but I most enjoyed just sitting outside and looking out over the pond. John was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated. The only shame is the weather meant we didn’t get a chance to grill or use the fire pit, but there’s always next time!
Toto is not in kansas (or nyc) anymore!

A Delightful, Quiet Treasure

The little cabin was fine. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The park was right there at the back door and full of wonderful trails and a great Dog park. We loved it and plan to be back.

Check-in was a breeze. Our host, John, turned on the air conditioners in advance so it was nice and cool when we arrived. Wi-Fi access was way over the top easy….password posted in several places so you couldn’t miss it. Roku Tv was very handy, especially for my husband.
