This property was perfect for our trip to Banner Elk. Soooo, convenient to all things Banner Elk has to offer. The home was impeccably clean, perfectly ready for our arrival and served our needs beyond our expectations. The owner sent a welcome message, and, to confirm everything was what we expected, it was and more. I give this location and owner my highest recommendation!

Great place to stay. Second time staying there and will definitely book again! The only problem we had was there were only two wash cloths to shower with and we had four people staying.

We loved staying here. Convenience to town is everything to us and being able to walk to restaurants is the best. We love Banner Elk and go every year in the early fall to escape the brutal heat of the SC coast and Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock never disappoint. Whispering Pines has all the conveniences of home, great outdoor porches, super great beds, well stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms. Alyson is great to work with and very responsive. We plan to return again next year. You can't get closer to town with this townhome. All restaurants in walking distance are superb. Hiking the Crab Orchard Falls, Linville Falls, Elk River Falls, Buckeye Creek falls and visiting the great wineries in the area are the highlights of our trip. Plus this place is pet friendly and there is a great walking park across the street, perfect for daily strolls with Fido. Thank you Alyson for sharing your lovely townhome with us.

First time using a VRBO and was extremely impressed with this property! Meticulously cleaned and fresh when we arrived. A lot of extras that we didn’t expect in the kitchen/bathrooms, such as dish soap, aluminum foil, plastic sandwich baggies and bath soaps. We appreciated the very quiet neighborhood and the walking distance to town and Lees McRae College. Will definitely stay again!

The home is beautiful. It was well maintained, clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the detailed book provided by the hosts that explained how everthing works and provided suggestions for local attrations and restaurants. Great spot 2 minutes from LMC and downtown Banner Elk

Plenty of space, clean and 2 min walk to Lees-McRae campus and downtown Banner Elk. Owners sent helpful info regarding the property and surrounding area ahead of check-in. Plan to stay here again when visiting.
