Ce n'est pas le chalet le plus mignon des lacs Arrowhead! Chaque détail a déjà été pris en charge, entrez et déposez vos sacs!
Un chalet classique aux poutres en bois avec un hĂŽtel rĂ©flĂ©chi digne de mises Ă  jour comme une magnifique cuisine en granit, des salles de bains carrelĂ©es personnalisĂ©es et plus encore. Il y a un insert de cheminĂ©e qui rĂ©chauffera toute la maison. La maison est complĂšte avec 3 chambres, 1 en bas et deux situĂ©es Ă  l'Ă©tage, l'une a mĂȘme un balcon pour siroter votre cafĂ© du matin et admirer la nature boisĂ©e. Juste ajoutĂ© ce mois-ci - grande terrasse au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage - vĂ©rifiez les photos!

Arrowhead Lake est une communauté fermée privée qui possÚde de nombreux équipements de loisirs et une attitude conviviale pour les visiteurs. Il a déjà été nommé par le magazine "Better Homes and Gardens" comme l'un des meilleurs lieux de vacances prometteurs. Le lac Arrowhead est en fait composé de 2 lacs: le lac Arrowhead principal qui couvre 0. 4 miles carrés, et le plus petit lac Arrowhead Nord.

Le lac est trĂšs populaire pour sa pĂȘche: des concours de pĂȘche Ă  la truite ont lieu jusqu'Ă  l'automne et une quantitĂ© limitĂ©e de pĂȘche sur glace a lieu en hiver. Le lac Arrowhead est gĂ©rĂ© comme un lac de capture et de remise Ă  l'eau, sauf pour les espĂšces de truites. Les gens qui ne sont pas amateurs de pĂȘche peuvent profiter de la baignade et du canotage, car il y a des locations de bateaux disponibles sur les deux lacs. Il convient de noter qu'aucun bateau Ă  essence n'est autorisĂ© sur l'un ou l'autre des deux lacs.

La communauté Arrowhead exige que tous les locataires achÚtent un laissez-passer pour 15 $ par véhicule. Les bandes d'agrément sont obligatoires (pour les personnes de 12 ans et plus) du Memorial Day au Labor Day. 8 $ par jour, 35 $ par semaine 90 $ par mois. Les bandes d'agrément hors saison sont facultatives mais obligatoires pour utiliser le lodge. 10 $ par semaine 2 $ par jour. Un préavis de 48 heures est requis pour les réservations.

Great house, great host

Were able to celebrate Christmas with my family thanks to this great house and the graciousness of the host. An extra table and chairs were brought in so we could have a sit-down dinner together and the owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. House is well maintained, well equipped, comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay again.

Great location and community

The house was perfectly situated within the community for easy access to multiple lakes and pools. The pools, lakes, and playgrounds made for a really fun trip. There were community events that were great to attend as well. The house was clean and well cared for, with some personal touches that made us feel at home. Our hosts were great with communication, offered local suggestions, and helped make the stay even better.

Quiet stay in middle of The woods

It was an excellent mid-way get away ! Would love to go back! The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had before and during the trip. They ensured that our trip went as smoothly as possible. It is a beautiful property and if you want to just sit and meditate - there couldn’t be a better place!!

Memorial Day Weekend

Great little chalet in Arrowhead lake.

My family and I had a great stay at Kate and Steve's chalet. There was everything one could need, and Kate went out of her way to ensure my kids had toys to play with during our stay. Communication with Cate was easy and she always got back to me super fast to answer any questions or remedy any concerns we had. The only thing I wish was available is a grill, which was definitely something we would have enjoyed using during our stay.

A deep clean away from perfection.

The neighborhood and the property were great. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy. The property itself could've been cleaner. There was mold and mildew on the shower floor upstairs, a lot of thick webs/cobwebs around the main entrance and door to the balcony, and a dead bat in the fireplace.

Premier Hosts Complement Adorable Chalet

The first thing any future guests of the cozy chalet will experience is the premier hosting from Kate and Steve. They are responsive, understanding, helpful and want to ensure you enjoy your stay in their home. While our stay may not have been perfect, I would say that it was due to elements outside of our host's control. I'll first talk about the property as that may be the most important aspect. The home is located in the Arrowhead Lake Community, which boasts three pools and several beaches amongst other amenities. More to come on this later. It is tucked within a wooded setting and there is a large deck with built-in seating as you walk into the home. There are two bedrooms upstairs, both with queen beds, and one full bath upstairs as well. Each room is large in size and one of the bedrooms has access to a deck that offers additional outside seating. Downstairs is one bedroom, with two twin beds, and another full bathroom. We found the kitchen to be fully stocked with any cooking instrument we needed, and also towels and linens were provided. This was a big plus because it meant less that we had to pack. Overall, the home was in great condition and if there was ever a question or a need, Kate and Steve responded immediately. As mentioned, the home is located in Arrowhead Lake Community. It is actually within walking distance to one of the pools (Minisink) however during our stay, that pool had been closed. Which is unfortunate because it was still August. This meant that we needed to drive to the next available pool, either Chocotaw or Island. We found the Island pool more to our liking, however, we struggled with the overzealous lifeguards that closed the pool at the thought of thunder for a full 30 minutes. This made vacationing quite difficult because we were left to the whims of the weather and the lifeguards to determine if we could use the pools. While the beaches remained an option, our children did not find them as desirable as the pools. There is a game room as part of the amenities, however, with COVID you can imagine the number of people in there on rainy days. It has two pool tables and one air hockey table as well as one older gaming console where 2 people can play games such as Pac-man, Donkey Kong, 1942, etc. Ultimately I would say that the community ended up bringing down our experience as opposed to complementing it. If I was looking for a winter escape, this Chalet would be perfect! Thank you again, Kate and Steve!

Great host

Best host and wonderful vacation rental. Clean and well equipped rental unit. The rental was on a very quiet street which was important to us yet not far from the amenities. The host was more than patient with my requests. We hope to go back next year.

Mountain Getaway

My family and I had a short weekend getaway and this property was perfect in every way. Great location to Big Boulder / Jack Frost. The house was clean and cozy and the fireplace kept us nice and toasty. Would definitely recommend this property and the owners were excellent on communication and making sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Goergous cabin, excellent location, pet friendly!

We choose this property because is pet friendly. The house is excellent, super clean, had all we needed. Kate is very nice and super host. She check on us and very other day if all was good and if we needed anything. The location is perfect within a gated community and about 20 minutes to Camelback and Jack Frost. There is plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within minutes. Definitely will visit again. It snowed the day of our checkin and the driveway was with snow, Kate had a plower in the property within 5 minutes!!!! Amazing đŸ€©. Recommended for family with pets....

Great place! So warm and cozy!

This was an amazing house! My mother in law is from Brazil and this was her first time in the US and I couldn’t think of a better place to show her the beauty of the Poconos. But the greatest thing about this house was the owners. Kate and Steve were so incredibly helpful and they truly went out of their way to make our trip memorable. I can honestly say if you rent this house you will not be disappointed.

Unlike many cottages in the Poconos this home has been thoughtfully updated with beautiful granite, custom cabinets and we had the deck rebuilt soon after purchasing. You will enjoy the updates.

We provide the linens! Many do not, we think schlepping linens to go on vacation doesn't feel like much of a vacation.
