Nouvellement rénové et entiÚrement meublé grand appartement d'une chambre dans la belle maison Tudor de trois étages en briques de 100 ans, situé dans le quartier branché de Ballard. Le lit King Size et le lit Queen Size peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes dans un appartement de 600 pieds carrés. Grand salon, cuisine et salle de bain avec Wi-Fi, TV et une buanderie disponible. Notre appartement en sous-sol offre beaucoup d'intimité avec un parking hors rue et votre propre entrée séparée. Idéalement situé à seulement 4 minutes à pied des bus express pour un accÚs facile au centre de Seattle, à Amazon, au centre-ville et à toutes les autres attractions merveilleuses que Seattle a à offrir. Tous les restaurants, bars et cafés branchés de Ballard sont à proximité, ainsi que les écluses de Ballard, la plage de Golden Gardens et le nouveau musée du patrimoine nordique. SĂ©jour dans Ballard

Grand logement Ă  proximitĂ© des quartiers Ballard et Fremont. Bien Ă©quipĂ©, avec cuisine complĂšte, salle de lavage et stationnement. Alice est accueillante et prĂ©sente au besoin. Il s’agit d’un logement au sous-sol donc un peu sombre mais nous passions la journĂ©e en exploration donc ça ne nous a pas trop dĂ©rangĂ©s.

Fourth year in a row we've visited family in Seattle for Thanksgiving. Property owner Alice was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour of the apartment and the amenities. Apartment is cozy, quiet, and nice. Plenty of places within 10 minutes of walking distance from this location. Only wish we had planned to stay longer. Would book here again.

The apartment, was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, especially in the kitchen with cooking utensils, plates, spices, coffee and more. There was off street parking for my car and it was in Ballard, a neat neighborhood.

Alice's apartment was just what I needed for a two-week stay in the area visiting family. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped.The location was a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Alice was readily available to answer any questions I had.

The property is in a perfect location. The owner greeted me when I checked in and gave me a quick tour and then ensured privacy for the rest of the visit. The amenities were above adequate and a location was quiet. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay! Location is great with lots of walkability and easy access via car or public transit to downtown. Communication with Alice was easy and she was so welcoming. Having a driveway parking spot is a huge bonus. The unit is a great size and was perfect for my husband, my toddler and myself for the weekend. We hope to be back in the future.

The suite we had at Alice’s house was in a great neighborhood with plenty of great cafes and a farmers market nearby. The suite was clean and had a full kitchen to use. Alice was great, and easy to liaise with. Thanks for everything!

Great trip! Perfect for what we needed

We came into town to visit my sister and her family. We booked this as a place to rest our heads. Alice was very communicative when it came to our plans and getting us set up. Just okay

The house was in a decent location to downtown Seattle and was very spacious if that’s what you’re looking for. As for the actual stay, it was just fine. Nothing special and not as clean as I am used to rentals I’ve stayed at being. There was no soap at either sink (bathroom or kitchen) to wash your hands. It also said that soap for the shower would be provided, but all that was there was leftover bar soap. I am fine using my own at home, but it seems unsanitary to use after a stranger. Luckily I brought my own. Communication with the host wasn’t great either, but if you are mainly just looking for a place to sleep, this is a fine option.

I'm a retired non-profit executive. I love my roses and having people enjoy my home. I've lived in Ballard since 1975 and seen it change from a quiet Scandinavian neighborhood to a trendy hangout for young professionals with lots of local coffee shops, restaurants, bars and breweries. It still reflects some of its Nordic Heritage with the nearby fishing fleet, a few shops and National Nordic museum.
My roots are in corn country in the Midwest, so my interest in gardening comes naturally. I have a concrete lamb on the front porch and a straw pig planter on the back deck just to remind me of the farm
I am active in politics and you will often see a political sign in my yard and or window.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

My son attended preschool nearby and everyday I would pass this house and thought how wonderful it would be to own this brick Tudor. We already enjoyed living in the area and we were outgrowing our little 2 bedroom bungalow. When I saw the sign For Sale By Owner, we jumped at the chance to buy it. I have never been sorry.
The previous owner had a large pool table in what is now the downstairs bedroom. My son lived downstairs while attending college and I've rented it off and on to friends. A water problem in 2015 damaged drywall and furnishings. I've done extensive remodeling - creating a secure entrance, upgrading the bathroom, lighting and appliances and installing new flooring throughout.
I love that the property is in Ballard on a fairly quiet street with well-maintained single-family homes, but close to public transportation and all the amenities Ballard and Seattle have to offer - Woodland Park Zoo, the beach, restaurants with great seafood, Greenlake, the waterfront, the locks with the salmon ladder, Pike Place Market, breweries within a mile, and world-class museums. These are a few of my favorite things, but you can discover many more.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

I was particularly attracted to the brick Tudor architecture of the house. The brick wall and steps and sidewalk leading up to the porch and front door set it off from the other houses on the block. The original fireplace in the living room and row of leaded glass windows in the dining room are distinctive. At one time it was the parsonage for the church property next door. In addition to the property being well-maintained, I appreciate the more expansive lawn area on the side yard. It has a longer paved driveway that accommodates safe, off street parking for guests' vehicles - a distinct advantage in a busy neighborhood within parking range of Ballard high school.with its many student drivers.
