This home met all of our needs. Two families (10 people) stayed here and it accommodated them well. In messaging the owner, he graciously allowed us to check-in earlier in the day which was so helpful. Bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. It is in a lovely neighborhood and we did a Turkey Trot around the lake. It IS a little dated and could use some TLC, but all in all it was an enjoyable 4 nights.
It was a great house. Had all the kitchen utensils, pans, etc that we needed. The five bedrooms and four bathrooms was great. It had a lot of stairs so someone with mobility problems might find it difficult.
We came home one night and found the smoke detectors all going off. Had to unplug them when no issues found. Contacted owner next day ad he came over and reset them. Something about humidity. House is nice. 3 skylights in primary bedroom means lots of light in the morning.
We enjoyed our stay at the Parker House. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and to spend time together.
The photos on the site do not do it justice, the place is beautiful on the inside.
The view from the property is amazing and the neighborhood is quiet, and convenient to get to the Denver Metro area.
We had a wonderful time in Colorado and this was a grrat location to use a base to visit both denver and Colorado springs. The house had enough activities for the kids to stay busy. Chris was very responsive and very helpful. Would stay again
We were in CO for my Daughters softball tournament, The Sparkler. Since we were going to be out in CO for more than a week, we need room to sprawl, cook meals, do laundry, etc. We invited a friend and my in-laws to join us and I can say with complete confidence that 5 Adults and 5 kids (14-17yrs old) had more than ample space to sprawl out.The view of pikes peak from the front are beautiful, didn't realize it was Pikes peak until we ascended the mountain. We enjoyed Fireworks by the City of Parker from the back deck overlooking the golf course. The hosts were extremely responsive, helpful with recommendation for local eats and overall just genuine down to earth - always there for us if we needed anything or had any questions.BONUS POINTS for the abundance of wildlife every night!
This house worked out great. We were close to our wedding site. Grocery stores and shopping were close by also. Kids really enjoyed watching for the deer and turkeys and rabbits. The kids toys downstairs were a big hit also. Thanks for letting us stay there.
Plenty of room to accommodate a small family gathering to celebrate my fatherâs 90th birthday. Beautiful pinery views in most directions. Was actually greeted at door by 3 deer munching on the landscape. Wonderful time!
Very comfortable place for a reunion. While the house has some issues (primarily windows would not close; owners will be replacing them in fall 2024), it worked very well for our purposes. Owners were responsive to all questions and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of wildlife that passed by our windows in the subdivision (deer, and flock at least 25 wild turkeys). Would rent again.
We rented the house and filled it with 8 adults and 2 children. We never felt crowded. Everything we needed was available and Chris was quick to respond. Our daughter was getting married in Parker and the house was a perfect venue for family to come and go. Having toys in the basement was a great way to keep the grandkids entertained.
My wife and I love to travel and we often stay in vacations rentals. We both owned homes when we married and decided to offer the one that feels like a vacation getaway as a Vrbo rental.
This house feels like you are in a vacation resort area. Itâs in a country club neighborhood and offers a country feel without being far from everything. It is a great place to relax in and enjoy a beautiful Colorado Sunset from the deck. Or sit by the fire and enjoy a drink!
