The property is conveniently located to all amenities. We enjoyed the lake access, ease of kayaking and jet skis. The hiking trails and beach were extremely clean. We would 100% stay here again. The hot tub at the home was clean and we enjoyed our morning hike up the mountain out back. There are alot of steps, which are a bit difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

The water in the house was not turned on when we got there, although it was easy to call and get instructions on how to turn it on…because of that the refrigerator water tasted really bad initially, I assume because it was sitting unused fir awhile. Other than that everything was great, beautiful woods behind the house.

Loved the location for easy beach access and trails. The dock worked peefectly when we rented a boat. The house was clean and well stocked! Hot tub was perfect.

Excellent property and has everything

We had a wonderful time at this property. Plenty of inside space, dishes/cookware plenty, beds are awesome, decks and hot tub, fire pit all excellent. Terrific fireplace inside also and games. Very comfortable and had a wonderful time.

Peaceful retreat.

Loved the quiet location next to the state park. The dock was perfect for all of us, kids and adults. The kitchen was very well equipped. A very comfortable home overall.

The area of the house was beautiful! The house it self could use some updating. We had a fun week, but the weather was cooler than normal.

The house was amazing. Location was great. Only downside was it is listed as having a hot tub and when we arrived it was “closed for winterizing”? Our stay was in late June…? Other than that would highly recommend this property

Good stay at Cherry Creek Resort

Overall, this house well accommodated our family (7 adults and 1 infant). Plenty of bedrooms and space in the bedrooms for everyone. The living area was tight for all of us with the main kitchen table only able to seat 7 people and was in tight quarters. Generally, the house was clean but definite cosmetic issues can be seen throughout (scratches to drywall, deck needs to be cleaned, 2 outdoor chairs broken). The location and dock were definitely a plus as it was quiet and we were able to enjoy a private dock easily!

Incredible cabin! We will be back

It was a wonderful stay and we couldn’t say more about the property, the amenities, the cleanliness, everything! We will want to come back to this cabin every single year. It was really cozy and just perfect. Only trouble was communication with management. We had communicated with them and asked for a late check out but somewhere on their end that was not implemented and cleaners showed up before we were ready to get out. However due to the error they gave us time to clean up be pack up and all is well :)

Cherry Creek Retreat Delivers

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this property. Exceptionally clean, nicely furnished and lots of room. The furniture is very nice, comfortable and all the beds have high quality mattresses. The location was very nice and close to everything. Check in/out process was a breeze with the code so you don’t have to coordinate with key pick up. While we didn’t realize the lake front was across the street, it was a very short walk and having a private dock made up for it. The only disappointment was that there was not a fire pit and patio chairs on the back deck as advertised in the photos. This would have been a nice feature to take advantage of the cool nights. This should be updated for future renters. The house next door is under construction so we were a little concerned when we saw tools and a toilet out in the yard however it wasn’t a problem at all and they didn’t start working until mid-day. It should be noted that trash pick up doesn’t include recycling but there is a recycling center very close to drop your recycling off instead of throwing it away. If in the area again we would definitely rent this property again. The lake is gorgeous! So relaxing! House is beautiful! Rental was easy!

Great House on a Hill

Our family had an amazing week in this house. Location on the lake is great and the proximity to the state park was convenient. Only thing worth noting is the climb up from the water to the house. The hill is steep and can be challenging for the older and younger members of the family. Overall, great property!

Making Wonderful Family Memories at Cherry Creek Retreat

Our family had a very enjoyable time at Cherry Creek Retreat. The location is close to many activities including the State Park beach, the Nature Center, and easily-accessible hiking trails. The house had a wonderful and spacious deck, with great views from the large windows throughout the house. The hot tub was clean, well-maintained, and in a wonderful and relaxing setting. The kitchen was well-equipped with dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; everything we needed to make some great meals. We did find the outdoor grill too small for the size of the house. It made it difficult to efficiently cook for our family of eleven. We found swimming in the lake to be a bit of a challenge due to the heavy boat traffic. The cove was full of partying boaters, so if you like quiet this may not be the place for you in July. However, our family enjoyed our time at Cherry Creek Retreat and made some very special memories there.

Great place!

Our group of 8 college roommates stayed here for our annual Deep Creek trip. The house is great. We loved sitting on the dock enjoying the beautiful view of the lake. We used the fire pit in the evening and sat on the front deck each day. This is a great house. The location and amenities are wonderful. We can’t wait to return next year!

Great house!

This house had everything we needed for a getaway weekend close to a ski report. It was about a 12 minute drive over the Wisp and many restaurants. House was cleaned and organized. It had multiple forms of entertainment (games, tvs, puzzles, hot tub, etc.)
