This is a spacious unit, with all the necessities. We would gladly stay here again. Quiet because no one is above you. Easy access because it's ground level & has an assigned parking space.

Nice little comfy spot.

It was nice it just could have been a little cleaner. Some dishes were dirty the furniture in the living room is a little outdated and one of the recliners was broken, but other than that the rooms were nice!

The Pines Pagosa

We stayed in this unit 4 years ago. It has been updated and was much nicer and cleaner this time. Great place for kids. Lots of board games & books & loft with a bath room gives them their own space. Plenty of hot water and kitchen supplies were adequate. Only negative was a shortage of blankets for the king bed. Location is great. Lots of shopping and dining within a few blocks.

Master bedroom smelled like cat urine. Pet hair covered the furniture. Otherwise, it was ok. Fireplace and living room were nice. Loft area was perfect for the teen.

Love this unit!

Great location and proximity to all the things we love about Pagosa! Had our 2 dogs with us and we loved the easy access to grass off the back deck. Also liked that this was an end unit. Not that we had any problem with it, but the listing should indicate that shoes are not allowed in the unit. We would have brought slip-ons for easy off/on when taking our dogs out.

Dirty house, needs maintenance

The house was in a good location, but it was still dirty when we checked in (hair in showers, candy wrappers on floor). There was several deferred maintenance issues: fireplace didn't turn off, stove burner didn't work, furniture was broken. I wouldn't go back.

Comfortable, Cozy, Convenient place!

Cleanliness is super important to me and I approve of this place! Towels and sheets are white so they can be cleaned thoroughly, AND guests can SEE they are clean! Everything smelled clean and fresh, without having a heavy “cover-it-up” smell. There were no “owners personal items” visible or mixed in (in drawers, under cabinets and in closets). The drawers in the kitchen and bathroom were void of crumbs and tooth paste smears from previous guests! There were plenty towels and extra blankets The kitchen was well equipped. The property was well located and it was easy to get around and even walk to certain restaurants and stores. It was quiet, and the grounds were kept well. We travel with our golden retriever, and it was a perfect place for her as well…lots of “potty places” close, with bags and disposal station. Lots of nice walking places right out the door. The home is decorated nicely and very comfortable! We enjoyed our stay, and would certainly stay again if the opportunity arises!

Excellent property in Pagosa Springs!

Our family of 3 adults and one small dog loved our experience at this updated, reasonably priced, well stocked and very convenient condo. The property managers thought of everything. We cook a lot and everything we needed was at hand. There were mountain views and several mornings hot air balloons flew directly over our condo. There was plenty of room and lush grass to walk our dog. We loved the beautiful tennis courts 3 minutes walk away and we took a one week membership at the Pagosa Springs Tennis Club which we used every day. There are excellent restaurants and shops only minutes away including a superb grocery store and best pizza and Mexican in PS. The 3 full baths were modern and all the flooring appears updated as well. Wifi was excellent for remote work. The essentials were all great! Just a few tweaks needed. There was a wasp nest under the front step which was very disturbing as the wasps would swarm every time we moved in and out. The first impression was disturbing as a wonderful entryway was very dirty. That was followed by the discovery that the kitchen counters, fridge, freezer and floors were not professionally cleaned and the upper shower that we did not use had grimy walls. We spent time cleaning so all was well but obviously a disappointment to what otherwise was a pretty perfect property. Finally, despite signs posted against, we encountered 5 dogs off leash in the course of 1 week. Customer service was very polite but useless, no proper follow up!

Good quiet location; Poor cleanliness, soft bed, unmaintained and faulty smoke and CO alarms

The place was in a good location - away from main part of town, close to grocery store and a nice coffee shop. House layout was ok...open loft on top floor for kids wasn't the best with sound and light from lounge area but it's manageable. The cleanliness was poor. It was immediately clear the floors had not been cleaned. Before we unloaded the car, we swept the floors and filled an entire dust pan. The cookware was crusted with old food. One pan was rimmed with crusty eggs, a pot with crusted sauce, and the dishes were sticky and crusty. We had to prewash all dishware.The primary bed is very soft and painful. While noted in previous reviews, we thought it was due to personal preferences. We were incorrect.The main issue is unmaintained smoke/CO alarms. We were awoken at 5:30a with multiple alarms chirping the 5-beep end-of-life alert. We contacted MGMT and vacated the unit due to pain it was causing our kid's and dog's ears. After 10hrs the situation was still not resolved. MGMT then told me it was my responsibility to get on chairs to disconnect all the units I could reach that could be making the noises. Upon removing them, the manufacture date on the back indicated they were well beyond their lifecycle date as indicated by the chirping. MGMT came and took the units for inspection.We requested a day's refund to compensate for discomfort, lost use, and necessity to eat out and waste pre-bought food. Our request continues to be denied.We will not stay again.
