We always appreciate a property that allows dogs and is a nice home with extra amenities, such as the pool table, hot tub, and fenced yard. Just a reminder to guests, that there are 2 levels to the home, of which an older, larger dog may not be able to manage the steps between the levels, and their people may not be able to carry them up and down. However the lower level, where entry to the fenced yard is more easily accessed by dogs via the garage, does have comfortable bedrooms and a full bath if needing to spend nights with an anxious older pet.Staying at “Where Eagles Fly” South Lake Tahoe felt similar to when we were younger and visiting our families while on vacation -- comfortable and nostalgic. There is a great napping couch on the upper level (no planes taking off at nap time at the nearby airstrip). Love the upper level “great room” with an excellent kitchen. Really happy there was a broom handy to brush the cobwebs away from the front entry and hot tub area. We will consider staying here again, but likely in the spring, fall, or winter as this home does not have AC. A very well-appointed place to stay -- we enjoyed our visit -- thank you!
