This was our second stay at this rental and as previously it was exactly as described. Upon entering the home it was welcoming, we noticed immediately the cleanliness of the entire home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook in if so desired . Communication was clear and prompt . Definitely one of our favorite places to stay while in Tahoe

Great house in great neighborhood!

Great house conveniently located near Heavenly and hiking trails - close to everything. Was a great house for a week get away to Tahoe.

Perfection

We loved our stay at the house. It was a perfect base station for long walks with our dogs ( fantastic trails practically down the street!) and exploring the Lake Tahoe area. Everything was very clean, in good working order, and very comfortable. Super quiet neighborhood, all you hear is the wind in the trees, and the beautiful birds. We hope to be back!

Nice little house in the woods

The house was small but nice and comfortable. Fenced backyard was great for our dog since we saw a couple of bears in the front.Beds were also comfortable.Pretty basic amenities, especially in the kitchen.I didn't have any issues during the stay but I didn't get any messages back from the property manager during the stay. I wondered what happened to him.(E.g. I wanted to know if there was something specific he wanted us to do before checkout)I wished there was a desk to work at.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our one week stay. The house is nicely laid out. The managers, Hector and Julio were responsive. We especially liked the neighborhood and proximity to trails. We hope to stay again.

Great place for families

Nice, quiet neighborhood that was perfect for us with a dog and toddler in tow. It’s also a short drive to all of the beaches and hiking trails. Overall, a great spot!

The inside of the property was clean and suited our needs well. The outside of the property was fairly unkept. The front yard has sticks, brush and lots of pine needs laying around. The backyard again has lots of stick, brush and pine needles. The backyard was basically all loose dirt with several dead trees. There was a large box in the backyard wrapped in a blue tarp. The fire pit was broken and not functional. The BBQ was probably okay to use but there was no propane. The backyard needs some landscaping desperately.

Clean and comfortable

Our family of 4 and dog enjoyed this property. Extremely clean, great location and comfortable for all. (They are also in the process of putting in a jacuzzi which will add even more.) Very happy with our overall stay!

Nice family getaway

We mainly booked this place because of its convenient location and because it's dog-friendly. The quiet neighborhood was great for walking the kids and dogs, with nice views one street over. It's a short drive to grocery stores, dining, shopping, and recreation. The host was very friendly and responsive and made us feel welcome!

Property was very clean and comfortable; kitchen was well stocked. Owner responded quickly to question on wifi (note: check to see if power strip is on...). Great location. Our dog was welcome and loved it. We'd definitely return!

4th of July weekend fun.

The property was nice. Did nor spend much time actually at the rental property but to sleep and shower. Trip was to short. It was a hot weekend and the pollen in the air was so thick it covered everything like yellow snow. Would have been nice to have a water hose to use. Also we couldn't get the living room or kitchen fan to work, but besides that we would stay again.

Beautiful quiet location, but it had issues inside

I will go ahead and start with the positives: Location was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. Inside the house was nicely furnished & the backyard has a tall fence. Inside the house had lots of space so you didn't feel cramped. Now the negatives: The kitchen was not clean. There were splatter stains on the stove top and the handle to the microwave had some sort of slimy/oil substance on it. The towels in the kitchen were not clean. They had crumbs on them and were stiff. They might have been used to clean & then left to dry. We booked this home because it had a washer/dryer, however the washing machine was not working. We washed the 3 kitchen towels & ran it with hot water. I didn't use the laundry pod because we only wanted to clean 3 kitchen towels. The washing machine was making lots of noise & kept giving errors. When the load was finished, the towels were filled with water. We had to wring out the water in the sink and then used the dryer. We decided to be safe & wash the bath towels (nervous if they were clean) & then got another error. We called & was told someone would come the next day at 11. We had to cancel our day activities for this visit. The person arrived at noon and told us the washing machine was fine. I told him to wait until the cycle was finished. After 5 minutes, we got flashing errors again. The person told us he couldn't fix it. We got a call saying it would be fixed after our stay so we had to go to a laundromat to wash our clothes.

It was clean, comfortable and inviting. But no kitchen/dish towels, oven mitts. So we had to use a bath towel to get hot pan out of oven. Not enough bath towels either. Lamp in living area not working. Small electric "fireplace" provides no heat and very little ambience. It had tools we needed to deal with the snow. Included washer/dryer and nice kitchen appliances, coffee maker, etc. Good location.

Tahoe

This property was what my family needed. We were away from the action but only about a 10 minute drive to the store. I loved having the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the weather. One downside to sitting outside was the mosquitoes, some kind of replant (like a candle) would have been nice. Overall a great stay.
