Bienvenue à Notre Bungalow en Bord de Mer, une maison de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain récemment rénovée, située directement sur la plage de Punta Uva — classée parmi les meilleures plages du Costa Rica par Forbes et TripAdvisor.



Réveillez-vous au son des vagues, savourez votre café du matin sur la véranda et marchez sur le sable à quelques mètres à peine de votre porte. Avec un parking privé, une politique accueillante pour les animaux de compagnie et la climatisation dans chaque chambre, cette maison est conçue pour le confort sans perdre son charme naturel.



La chambre principale donne sur la mer des Caraïbes et dispose d'une salle de bain privative avec des douches intérieures et extérieures. Deux chambres supplémentaires, chacune avec la climatisation, partagent une deuxième salle de bain. Le salon comprend une télévision, le Wi-Fi et des ventilateurs de plafond, tandis que la cuisine entièrement équipée et les douches à eau chaude dans toute la maison facilitent les longs séjours.



À l'extérieur, le jardin tropical est rempli de plantes exotiques, d'arbres fruitiers et d'un chemin privé à travers les cocotiers qui mène directement à la plage. Ocean not visible but close. The entire area is filled with Marijuana smell the second you exit the house. This is a party beach, extremely loud, complete chaos on Saturday and Sunday. The A/C didn't cool the master bedroom, the king bed was very uncomfortable. My wife and I kicked the kids to the master and we slept in the other rooms for the second two nights, and the bed was perfect and cool, but then the kids were mad.

Located in front of the sea, 10 meters of Arrecife restaurant and bar, 500 Mts from minimarket, guacamayas and aullador monkeys . on rainy season is needed a dry machine for clothes, always a washing machine g machine is needed.

Beautiful location and comfortable bungalow next to beach

I can't rave enough about this bungalow! We loved being able to walk out the gate to one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to! The bungalow is clean and comfortable, kitchen is a little tight, but manageable. Property manager Pablo, resolved a problem with the safe quickly, and also set up a tour of Refugio de Manzanillo with Abel, whom I highly recommend! We enjoyed visiting Ara Manzanillo and the Jaguar Rescue Center, both close drives. The restaurant next door was convenient and there are plenty of others within a short drive. I would absolutely rent this place again in the future!

This property has everything you'll need for the perfect Costa Rican vacation... right down to the wildlife! We were fortunate to see three sloths on our iwalk to the beach. Love this place and would finely stay again. beach.

Wow ! Exceptional place and fun trip

This place is amazing , we will be staying here again . The Beach is steps away and clean . Kids had lots of fun. Pictures don't do justice to how amazing and exceptional this place is. Outdoor grill, cabana are some added perks.

We loved the location right on the beach and so beautiful! Plenty of room for the 5 of us We also enjoyed eating every meal al fresco while surrounded by nature including wild life (resident sloth in backyard tree and howler monkeys wake up call every morning) Pablo our rental rep was fantastic! Answered every question and took care of anything we needed-super responsive! This place is a real delight! Also excellent ready to drink cold water dispenser I would suggest only one thing and that would be a small washer We were there two weeks and it would have been nice to wash right on the premises

Perfect getaway!

Staying at this property in Punta Uva, Costa Rica, was a dream come true. Nestled between lush rainforest and pristine beaches, it offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property itself was immaculate and well-maintained, exuding a charm that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, providing us with excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. We especially enjoyed the tranquility of the mornings, sipping coffee on the veranda while listening to the sounds of the ocean, howler monkeys, and visiting macaws. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, this place has it all.

Best location in the area in my opinion

Steps from the beach. Very secure. Good working a/c in both bedrooms. Attentive cleaning staff. We stayed there for two weeks without a car and found it no problem. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place

The location and the Bungalow is beautiful. Just a few steps to a beautiful beach and surrounded by nature. However, a big downside is the public beach access next to the property- specially on the weekends.This allows for excursions full of people every weekend . They take over the front of the property use it as bathrooms and if you don’t pay attention they also get inside the property which is a shame.

Too close to public access

Pick up this house and move it to a more private part of the beach, and it would be a perfect getaway. It had everything we needed for a nice stay. But, the nearness to the public beach access was a disappointment and the fact that people seemed to like to gather right in front of this house made it not so nice for our supposed private access. We even had people coming into the planted area just off the beach directly in front of our house to change clothes or relieve themselves. Really not nice.

We would live here if we could!

The house is very functional, comfortable and safe. The garden is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. It’s just perfect how close it is to the beach but still private! Our toddlers were happy, safe and free the whole time! It was just perfect. Also good internet for remote work. The outside eating are is beautiful but the gravel makes it just perfect for ants to gather and wait for the food to drop. This is a problem since the ants also love to “attack” when they feel threatened. An area that can be sweep would make the space much more comfortable and useful.

Ideal location in Punta Uva

Beautiful thoughtfully laid out bungalow right next to the beach. The location really couldn't be better. Beautifully decorated and a lovely garden/lawn area. We saw lots of wildlife: multiple two toed sloths, green macaws, hummingbirds, crabs, toads, and frogs! There is a water filter with cooled, room temp and hot water options - very nice! Two restaurants within a 4 min walk in the beach. The kitchen was well equipped with a gas burning stove/oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker & toaster. There was coffee and sugar in the fridge and ice trays in the freezer. Great AC in the bedrooms. The master suite is impressive, the other two rooms are quite small but also cool down quickly with their own AC units. Would absolutely stay here if we're ever in the area again. The outdoor shower attached to the master suite could be more private - we could see people walking down the road. Lots of free roaming dogs in the area led to multiple piles of dog poop on the lawn - would be great if those were cleaned up regularly.

Fantastic Location

Super nice house, with great yard, and steps from the water. If you are coming with others, you’d better discuss who will get the master bedroom ahead of time, because it is much, much nicer than the other two rooms. The other two are fine, but the master is ridiculous. The weekends get pretty busy in the area, and there is more noise/people, so if you plan any all day excursions, that would be the best time to be away. The week days are pretty quiet and mellow. And the nights were always quiet. Felt like a pretty safe area. We had two women in our group, and they both went for long walks solo, and they both felt comfortable doing so. The beach, and water right in front of the house are awesome, and there is a restaurant (Arrecife) about 100 yards down the beach that has solid food, and really good drinks (we were there almost daily, and sometimes twice). La Sirena nearby is also very tasty, and a quick walk. Very nice house - great yard - awesome beach - food and drinks nearby - hammocks, outdoor shower, clothesline, a/c in the bedrooms, adequate kitchen - pretty close to perfect for the three of us - really enjoyed our stay.

Beyond Our Wildest Dreams

For our anniversary in 2023, we planned a Costa Rican adventure on the Caribbean. We found this house and it looked perfect for our family, with three adolescents. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency that forced us to postpone. The owners were incredibly gracious and allowed us to reschedule for February 2024 with no fees or penalties. When we finally arrived, we were greeted by a mama sloth with a baby in the yard!! And it only got better from there. The property was immaculately clean and everything was just so gorgeous. The beach is incredible and during the week it felt completely private. The house staff were incredibly responsive at all hours with any questions or issues that we had. Pablo was especially helpful and patient with scheduling our activities, which included horseback riding on the beach and visiting the Jaguar Rescue center and the Ara project. (We especially recommend Ara - you can stand amidst the green macaws in the wild, flying all around you!) Our trip wouldn’t have been half as incredible without this amazing team. We had several amazing meals at the Arrecife restaurant right down the beach. Gary the chef is an artist. Get the catch of the day and also the rice with lobster! He also organizes great tours. We felt very safe at all times and had no problems with people on the beach. Unlike other reviews, we liked seeing Costa Rican families gather there on the weekend. What a way of life! Thank you for the best vacation we’ve ever had! Pura vida!

Nuestra casa favorita en la playa

La casa nos parece acogedora y la ubicación es la mejor. Los cuartos son muy cómodos, la sala es muy cómoda (ni siquiera le hacía falta el televisor que encontramos como novedad), la cocina es muy funcional y nos encantan los espacios externos. Además, apreciamos mucho el manejo de residuos sólidos. Nos hacen falta dos cosas en la casa: 1. una mesa pequeña en la terraza para comer cuando no queremos cruzar al rancho (solía existir en el 2020 la primera vez que fuimos) y unas tijeras en la cocina!!! También, nos hizo falta papel mayordomo en la cocina, nos hubiera caído bien tener un royo extra.

Estancia inolvidable

Absolutamente todo, desde el momento de comunicarme con los muchachos vía WhatsApp hasta el momento de la salida. La casa es preciosa, ubicada en un remanso de absoluta paz, rodeada de naturaleza y con jardines que invitan a la felicidad. El acceso a la playa no puede ser más directo y el sonido constante del mar especialmente para dormir sin igual. Está equipada con todo lo necesario para una estadía placentera. El trato, la amabilidad, la atención y la hospitalidad de los muchachos es tan especial, que te hacen sentirte un huésped único. Gracias por tanto, gracias por todo. Volvimos después de nuestra primera visita y seguiremos haciéndolo mientras Dios y la vida no lo permita. Solo recomendaría una barrita en los 3 baños para sostén de alguien con discapacidad o adulto mayor. Pero son perfectos y seguros para ellos. Es solo para hacerlos aún más perfectos.

Excelente Ubicacion, bastate seguro y buen parqueo!

Es la segunda vez que me quedo en el lugar y me facina! la ubicacion es perfecta y el bungalow cuenta con todo lo necesario. Me parece excelecte que ahora tengan un Roku TV y el internet funciono bien para mis llamadas de trabajo. Espero regresar el otro año! Lavanderia o un centro de lavado que se pueda usar seria genial, las lavanderias en Cocles no son muy buenas, tuve que ir a buscar otras opciones.

Ya amaba Punta Uva, pero esta casa hizo enamorarme mucho más. Maravilloso lugar y espacios, un jardín precioso y muy bien mantenido. Espectacular estadía. Aire acondicionado de un dormitorio estaba malo y aunque había un ventilador, no era suficiente. Solo eso.

El bungalow es de los lugares más espectaculares que he visitado. Iniciando por la atención de servicio al cliente, ubicación a solo pasos de mi playa favorita, cada totalmente equipada y pensada hasta en los más pequeños detalles. Simplemente amamos Bungalow y Casas del Caribe.
