La maison en duplex de 5 Ă©tages construite en 1910 est situĂ©e Ă  proximitĂ© de toutes les commoditĂ©s souhaitables et Ă  distance de marche des bars, des restaurants et des lieux de petit-dĂ©jeuner. Il y a beaucoup d'espaces verts et de trottoirs Ă  explorer. Le salon a un thĂšme Ă©questre avec des planchers en bois superbement restaurĂ©s, un beau tapis Ă©pais et un charmant canapĂ© et une chaise en cuir vieilli. La cuisine a Ă©galement des planchers de bois et un charmant coin petit-dĂ©jeuner. Le grenier au 2Ăšme Ă©tage, oĂč se trouvent les chambres Ă  coucher, est rustique avec des planchers en contreplaquĂ© en polyurĂ©thane et des meubles au charme d'antan. C’est un endroit idĂ©al pour un groupe de 4 personnes ou moins, pour se divertir lors d’évĂ©nements sportifs, de spectacles de chevaux ou de courses, ou simplement pour dĂ©couvrir les merveilles que Lexington a Ă  offrir. Lovely property. Just as advertised. We needed a place to stay during our moving process from Lexington. This home is warm, cozy, great tv channels and very comfortable beds. I would definitely recommend and would stay again!

JW’s Loft was a perfect location for our visit to Lexington with easy walking distance downtown and to Euclid Ave shops and restaurants. The entire apartment was well-furnished and clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for preparing meals. Our only issue during our stay was a persistent odor. Both the property manager and the owner were very responsive and did their best to correct the problem. This is a very pleasant property in a nice walkable neighborhood which I would highly recommend.

Adorable!

To be honest, we used this spot as an overflow for guests during our annual 4th of July vacation with friends. My family stayed the first night but we wanted to stay here the whole week/weekend because it was so adorable! We came again at the end to check out and again thought it was just too cute! I especially loved the upstairs antique look. Thank you!

Stately neighborhood homes

Lovely home in secure neighborhood. No issues whatsoever. Hostess responded quickly to our needs. We were able to secure our bikes to the tree in the backyard. We stayed a full week so we were required to take out the trash to the curb. Taking out other people's trash (who only stayed a few days but left pizza boxes) should not have been our responsibility, though. Hostess was very friendly.

Just Okay

Clean, good off-street parking, quiet and safe location. But this is a one bedroom rental, not two as advertised. The single beds are located on the upstairs landing leading to the bedroom. Okay for a couple with two small children. Definitely not okay for two couples. Note that the bedroom is upstairs and the only bathroom is downstairs.

Home away from home.

My husband and I plus our two dogs stayed here for 10 weeks. We were in between homes. This is a simple home. But it was clean and comfortable. It’s an older home. Some of the furniture is a little worn. Could use an overall redo. But all in all it was very welcoming and comfortable. The location of the house couldn’t be better. It was wonderful to get to know Lexington. Walking distance to at least a half a dozen restaurants. If you’re interested in visiting UK it’s just a stones throw away, I would definitely recommend this house if you’re interested in staying in downtown Lexington. It’s in an historical area surrounded by beautiful homes. Very walkable and safe. The stairs going upstairs are rather steep. So if you have mobility issues, this home may not be the best for you. It is a duplex. The other side is one story . Plenty of street parking plus you get a parking spot in the back of the house. We will miss this little house.

Great location

It was a bit tight for three adults. The bedroom is spacious. The two twin beds are right outside the bedroom door. Probably a better fit for a couple with kids. Super service and location.

Cozy get away

This was perfect size for us— we felt very welcomed. It had everything we needed although we never found the dishwasher, although the instructions on how to use it in the thorough welcome book were clear. If you’ll have us back, we look forward to a return visit.

Lovely home away from home

The house is adorable. The furnishings are super comfortable and very well kept, lovely art and decor. The little yard was a perfect spot for an afternoon read and relaxing. The neighborhood is also beautiful. Lovely big ol Kentucky homes along a tree lined street that felt very safe, at all hours. It was a wonderful stay and I recommend it to everyone.
