Thanks Craig! We were slated to install screens and I am happy to say that we have installed screens to the great room arches as of 4/1/2020. The home is now Mosquito free. We also jsut got all new kitchen appliances as of 4/15/2020!! We hope you come back soon

Thank you for your review. As you noted, the house is advertised as having air-conditioned bedrooms. We are sorry that you feel that our description was not clear by further stating that the remainder of the house is not air-conditioned. We describe the great room as “SCREENED IN OPEN-AIR.” The description also states that "Guests recognize that AC is in Bedrooms ONLY.” The Rental Agreement that all guests are directed to read and agree to prior to booking their reservation also states that "Guest acknowledges that air conditioning is provided only in the interior spaces of the property as noted in the marketing. Many homes in the US Virgin Islands have air conditioning only in the bedrooms. Guest verifies that they understand and have selected this villa with knowledge of this fact." As you can probably understand, VRBO does not provide the space to list all of the amenities that we do not provide. I'm not aware of any missing light fixtures, but this is something we would easily remedy immediately if notified during your stay. The light fixtures shown in the photos, as well as the furniture, are exactly what is currently in the house. Given the tropical climate in the Virgin Islands, beach chairs typically only last four or five weeks, and are replaced regularly. When you reported the rusty chair, we immediately brought you a brand new one. We gladly do this for all guests for any issues they may experience. Additionally, if you had notified us about the light bulb that was out, we could have easily replaced it within a few minutes of your call. We provide multiple cell numbers and email addresses where our staff and I can be reached at any time for any concerns. We price the home accordingly to reflect the amenities and offerings of each property. While enclosing this house with glass so that air conditioning can be added to the open-air great room is unlikely, we have several new homes that do have full air conditioning and are priced to reflect those level of amenities. Villa Colorado is an affordable family option rather than a fancy new high-end villa. Fortunately, there is a range of options for you.
