Comfortable, Relaxing Home Away From Home

Clean, comfortable stay, great people, beautiful beachfront… a wonderful home away from home. We enjoyed being surrounded by locals (owners) as well as vacationers. Great patio, we played games on the deck every evening. And it’s close to Schooner’s which is a must visit. Thanks, we’ll be back!

Great condo!

Loved this condo. Right on the gorgeous white sand beach. Pool was heated. Owners responded quickly to any requests. Great vacation!

Love Watercrest and this condo!! We had 8 adult/teens and fit is all perfectly!! The patio is so roomy and relaxing!! The view was breathtaking!! This is our 3rd time staying at Watercrest!!

My daughter and I took 3 teenage boys to the beach for their bring break. The condo is located close to many restaurants and activities. The condo was perfect! It is beautifully decorated and has all of the kitchen necessities . I can’t say enough about

This was our 3rd time staying in one of their condos. We love them so much this year we booked 2 and brought more people with us. They did not disappoint.

The Beach !!!!

Loved Watercrest

The condo was clean and was as advertised. The view was beautiful. The water is gorgeous. My daughter and grandkids really enjoyed the heated pool. There was a lot of drawer space but the closets needed some hangers. Loved it

Nice condo directly on the beach

The condo was as expected. Beds were comfortable and overall the condo was clean. Communication was great and we had a wonderful time. We were on the 15th floor, but other than one time we didn’t really have wait times for the elevator. Will definitely book again. Thank you!

Watercrest - Huge Balcony

We enjoyed our stay. The balcony was the highlight. We ate breakfast every day on the balcony and some evenings too. Very private. The complex was great. I appreciated the on property security team. The pool was heated which was nice on the cooler days. We enjoyed playing pickle ball and tennis. Would definitely recommend the unit.

Perfect Slice of Paradise

Such a great stay in this little slice of paradise! The condo was just as advertised with beautiful views of the beach from the huge balcony and plenty of sun and shade to enjoy the scenery, comfortably! The bedrooms and common spaces were great sizes and the kitchen was perfect for cooking, with basically everything we needed! The condo was stocked with plenty of extra towels, extra fans, and dishes. We also loved that we were able to reserve beach chairs for our stay, we even paid to have 2 more added so we could all enjoy them. Loved the Watercrest! Wasn’t too noisy or overcrowded and everyone we met was incredibly nice. And you can’t beat that short walk to the beach! We’ll definitely be planning to stay here again next summer!

Absolutely loved this place!

My family and I absolutely loved everything about this place. The room was spotless and smelt clean the entire time. The beds were so comfortable it was hard to get out of them in the morning. The beach area was not so crowded you couldn’t enjoy yourself. The elevators were super fast. Chairs and umbrella came with the room so that helped out tremendously! We didn’t have to drag so much stuff to the beach just to be comfortable all day. We met the property manager which was Sunkiss Beach Rentals and she was very nice , she made sure we had everything we needed. Every worker we came across at this hotel was friendly. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel an will definitely be renting it again.

Short Summer Vacay

Really nice condo Well equipped in the kitchen (except no dish cloths). Lots of silverware and plates and bowls. Really nice place. A little smaller than the places we’ve stayed before. Overall highly recommend. Our daughter left her wireless Beats headphones when we left 😡😡😡😡 but within ten minutes they called and said cleaning crew found them!!! Very honest!!! Only negative…. Gotta back off comments about minor things like fingerprints on windows resulting in excessive cleaning charges and the like!!! We get it!!! We’ve stayed at dozens of condos. That is a little over the top.

Very nice condo, near anything you need

First - the condo - very nice, good communication with the managers, they did respond to calls and emails. Property was very clean, comfortable, easy check-in/check-out. We enjoyed the condo very much. Second - the overall building (Not the condo!) - This property is starting to age overall. The main common areas, such as the elevator, you can see gets a lot of use and needs TLC. Seems fairly typical for the area though. There were times the elevator was being worked on, but that isn't unusual. We didn't use the pool area, but it seemed well taken care of. The condo itself is smoke-free but units around were smoking, as a result we didn't use the balcony as much as we would have liked because it stunk of smoke from other condos. It happened that during our stay the unit above was doing some remodeling work, which went a bit too far into the evening (they are supposed to stop by 5). We did contact managers to see what they could do. They couldn't do anything about the smoking, but we did appreciate that they were willing to try. Whoever was performing the work did go beyond the timeframe allotted though. Third - location - The property is very close to anything you need. It is near the state park, which we enjoyed, near all the shops and restaurants and is thankfully off the main strip that gets crazy with tourists. I definitely enjoyed the property location. You can walk to the shops, but would be a small hike, but we used a vehicle so were very pleased. Overall thought the condo was good/great. Location was great. Managers were great to deal with. Building was ok/good, I did see work being done to maintain the building so it's not being neglected, it could just be improved. what could have made it better? If the unit above wasn't doing remodeling and other units weren't smoking it would have been better. We did enjoy our stay, so don't get me wrong about the criticisms, which are not directed at the owners/property manager and what they could control.

I was sorry to hear someone next to you was remodeling, I called to make sure they were adhering to "work hours" and did not hear back and assumed that was rectified. Beautiful condo at Watercrest!

We came for Spring Break and wanted a quieter environment compared to previous trips to Panama City Beach. This unit and building was nice and quiet with tons of younger kids - perfect for families! The unit was very clean and well taken care of. The unit's wifi password didn't work during our stay so we had to use the building's general wifi but it was sufficient enough to be able to work remotely. Everything about the unit itself was great. The unit was super clean upon our arrival - I was really impressed that there was no sandy grit walking around barefoot considering it's a beachfront condo. Watercrest was a great building overall. The only two negatives that I have is the chair service had us back in 3rd row and the tikibar was lackluster - they closed at 5pm so don't expect to get dinner from the bar unless you're an early eater. By 6pm, finding a nearby restaurant that offers carryout is a challenge - the area restaurants we called like Schooners flat out told us they're no longer doing carryout orders. Watercrest's tikibar only serves basic foods that they can reheat in a toaster oven. I drove to Boardwalk to order dinner from their tikibar because their food was so much better (Boardwalk grill's seafood platter is DELICIOUS!!!) -- at the same time, I realize that Watercrest is a much smaller building compared to Boardwalk so that's probably why the tikibar closes so early. My family's scenario is probably unique where we prefer carry-out over dine-in and have food allergies we have to worry about. The chair service is a nice perk for sure, but for a family with young children being back in the 3rd row and not being able to see our kids at the beach was a negative... especially considering the front row was almost entirely empty (assumingly reserved for owners or people who pay). We only spent one day at the beach because of it and instead spent the rest of our time at the pool. The pool was great and my kids had no problem finding new friends to play with. The security guards were not overbearing and allowed everyone to have a good time. The only other slight knock is the cleaning crew was literally sitting on the bench outside the unit at 8am on departure day. He kept saying no rush but it still felt rushed knowing they were waiting. A few criticalities aside, our time at Beach Happy condo was absolutely excellent. The owners and Sunkissed Rentals definitely have pride in ownership and take care of the unit! A+ would recommend!!!!
