The Shady Rest, votre maison de vacances avec terrasse à seulement 2 pùtés de maisons du lac Eufaula

Située en bas de Texanna à Sandy Bass Bay 3, cette maison se trouve à proximité des plages du lac Eufaula et de deux rampes de lancement. L'autre cÎté de l'autoroute 69 est le parc national du lac Eufaula avec de nombreux types de loisirs. Il y a une grande cour avant bordée d'arbres avec beaucoup de places de stationnement pour les invités et les jouets. En bas a salle à manger, kitchenette, salle de bain complÚte et salon avec porte vitrée coulissante sur le patio. Couch fait deux lits jumeaux. A l'étage a une zone avec un lit double et un placard d'un cÎté et un lit queen de l'autre.

L'emplacement est correct, mais le GPS ne reconnaĂźt pas notre adresse. Pour utiliser votre localisateur GPS, vous pouvez entrer l'adresse suivante: 421464 Big Sandy Drive, Eufaula OK 74432. Continuez jusqu'Ă  la derniĂšre maison Ă  droite.

Thise hosts were very welcoming and nice. They left us fresh chicken eggs which was a plus. My boys love their eggs. We had a fantastic time fishing at the local areas nearby. Will be coming back! Maybe in the Summer.

We were very comfortable at the cottage! My girls said the couch/beds down stairs were comfy - and the bunk beds and queen bed were as well. Nice hot shower! Kitchen is small but adequate - added bonus of fresh eggs gifted by the hosts!! Hot tub was also great - sadly too cold to swim - but pool looked great!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin in Oklahoma! The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin was exceptionally clean and well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

Kerry was very friendly and accommodating it was raining the night we stayed so didn’t get to swim but did get to enjoy the hot tub! The cabin was nice quiet and cozy just want we needed to spend some quality time with our kids.

Outstanding visit

We had a great experience. The cottage was adorable and clean. We had plenty of room for mom and two teenage boys (with room to spare). Added bonus...we got to meet the hosts and their sweet fur babies. The hosts were very friendly and we plan to return to see our new friends.

The hosts were friendly and very kind upon greeting. Offered amenities such as pool and hot tub right away and were very happy to provide privacy if asked, and were kind enough to let us play with their dogs in the pool. The cabin itself was very clean upon entering as well as cool, thanks to the hosts for turning on the AC prior to our arrival. Very good stay over all, would recommend and would definitely stay again.

fantastic stay

The property managers were wonderful. they loaned us some butter and gave us some farm fresh eggs. they were very attentive to our needs and extremely welcoming. The property was clean and perfect for my sisters and niece and nephew to stay. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to "get off the beaten path" and unwind and unplug"! 5

A peaceful night's stay in a lovely location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shady Rest in Eufaula! We were only there for an overnight stay and wish that we could have stayed longer. The area and the house were very quiet - our sleep was awesome! We were traveling with dogs; they really enjoyed the calm, quiet neighborhood for their walk the following morning - we felt completely safe walking on the streets of the small community and were treated with a beautiful sunrise over the lake. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed for our brief stay. I was particularly enchanted with the super cute washcloth display in the bathroom - I'm not sure why, but it made me smile to see so many washcloths arranged like art. The hosts were friendly, but fully respected our space and privacy. We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

Charming and quiet

The place is cute. Quiet neighborhood. The owners are so sweet and kind. There dogs are adorable. The only thing was the floor downstairs was very dirty and there was no broom so I could clean it. There was garbage in the garbage can and garbage under the main bed upstairs. Other than that clean and cute. The bathroom was overstocked with lots of towels and other stuff, I loved that! We felt like in the pictures the hot tub was on our side at our place but it is not. It's on there deck in front of there windows. We decided not to use it to as no privacy. We looked for the pool and it was an above ground little pool. We felt like it was kinda deceiving. Other than that it was what we needed to relax.

The Shady Rest is cute and cozy. The host is very nice and accommodating. The hot tub is always ready to go. This place is highly recommend from me and my partner.

The lake and trails were nice

Not going into details. I loved the trails and found a great breakfast place. However, the hot tub...which thr majorly of people would like to be private was on the owners back deck. It didnt seem very clean. My son and i sat in the hot tub while the owners large back window was ioen and could see them through it. They had shower curtains hangin around but it would have been even weirder to be enclosed in a hot tub. The kitchen was dirty, floors all.dirty. the fridge had gair and dirt in it. I took lots of photos but not sure i can post here but will elsewhere. I thought this would be a private place but as soon as i started down a long driveway, i saw a man, the owner glaring at me as I drove all the way to the cabin and then stood there watching me get out of my car. I didnt appreciate it and when i voiced my opinion, about all of this i was met with one of them telling me "i wish you weren't here" i was really tired and wanted a nice private vavation. It didnt happen.

Romantic getaway with hot tub

Our stay was okay. We left early mainly because the property was a little different than what I thought we were getting. The listing made it seem as though we had our private hot tub area, we did not. The house was pretty but outdated, and not very clean. There was a distinct urine smell from the bed. All in all not super happy with it

Cozy and convenient

This was perfect. The location to our family reunion at Pickens Lake campground was so easy for us. Having our dog with us was a big part of the goal for our stay. The only hotel I would consider does not allow dogs and the security of us at The Shady Rest gave me peace of mind. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. I highly recommend to anyone going to visit Lake Eufala

Excellent weekend getaway w/shared spa and pool

Great little hideaway that has a nice bit of nature, fishing, hiking and is very dog friendly! Possible swimming area on lake but we didn't ask.

I am Kerry Elliott and I live on-site. I moved to beautiful Oklahoma to enjoy my retirement years. Big Sandy Lodge is my home with my friendly golden retrievers and a couple cats and chickens too. Pets are not only welcome but encouraged. If you have dogs, we will keep the chickens in the coop. The Shady Rest is my guest house next door to my main house and is a very cozy place to enjoy a cup of coffee, have a Bar-B-Q, or start your own fun. My property is American owned, maintained, cleaned and I personally host our guests with respect for your privacy.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

It's green and beautiful and close to the lake. I have boat parking in the large front yard and are close to several launch ramps and Belle Starr Marina. My private boat slip is just a short walk away for fishing or swimming. Please do not board any boats or other docks without permission.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Behind the house is your own private patio, aquaponic pond, and beautiful outdoor scenery for your enjoyment. The decks, front yard pool, hot tub and fire pit are available for your use and play. Please enjoy the hot tub and seasonal pool on the back deck of our Big Sandy Lodge. Or, have a Bar-B-Que on the front deck and a fire in the front yard fire pit or your patio chimenea. Go to the lake or the dock to enjoy fishing for Crappie or Catfish, swimming or just to enjoy the beach.
